    Great message, very encouraging.
One thing, though, is all Christians have the responsibility to share the good news with others. We don't all have the gift of evangelism true, but we can share our testimony or teach Sunday school or teach our children the truth. The woman at the well ran into town to tell everyone whom she had just met and said, come meet Him. We can invite a neighbor to Bible study or church to hear the Gospel if we're not confident❤ Praise God from whom all blessings flow!! Praise God wherever you are. Tell of his goodness and pray for God to strengthen you and help you to love people and share your heart, your home, your testimony ❤️ 🙏 To God be the glory. Great things he has done!!!

JeOneSeven V9 Reforned theology is a doctrine of demons straight from the pits of hell.
The only way to arrive at what they believe is to twist scripture and take it out of context and make it say what it does not say, but rather what they want it to say by inserting words that they deem fit and by assigning their own definitions to biblical terms and concepts like predestination, election, elect, sovereign, total depravity, Gods love and grace, etc etc.

If that's the case, how do you explain God hardening pharaoh's heart?
And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had spoken unto Moses
      Exo 9:12
According to you, God could not have hardened Pharaoh's heart. So, how do you explain this without changing the words?
      I ask with due respect.

    • @apilkey
      @apilkey 5 лет назад +2

JeOneSeven V9 I don’t believe God could not have hardened Pharaoh’s as you think I believe.
God has every right to harden our hearts AFTER we freely reject Him.
This is called JUDICIAL hardening or hardening as an act of judgment against someone who has already freely rejected God.
Pharaoh wasn’t created for damnation but rather God used a man that was already set against Him.
If we examine carefully the exact sequence of events surrounding Pharaoh we will see that God FOREKNEW that Pharaoh would not let His people go and that no hardening took place until AFTER Pharaoh freely rejected God.
The sequence of events was NOT God predestining Pharoah’s heart to be hardened FIRST.
We must look honestly at the actual sequence of events and what took place and how it is recorded in scripture instead of just ASSUMING.
So let’s go through the sequence of events starting with the very first mention:
      EXODUS 3:19
19 AND I AM SURE THAT THE KING OF EGYPT WILL NOT LET YOU GO, NO, NOT BY A MIGHTY HAND.
20 And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and AFTER THAT HE WILL LET YOU GO.
God simply says, “I am sure he will not let you go.”
      This is FOREKNOWLEDGE.
God KNEW it would take a mighty hand as He clearly explained to Moses.
Pharaoh’s heart wasn’t hardened until AFTER according to Exodus 5:2 which was the very first meeting between Pharaoh and Moses.
      THIS IS THE FIRST MEETING.
FREEWILL FIRST, then the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart:
...According to Exodus 5:2 we clearly see Pharaoh FIRST rejecting God because he doesn’t know him:
      EXODUS 5:1,2
1 And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.
2 AND PHARAOH SAID, WHO IS THE LORD, THAT I SHOULD OBEY HIS VOICE TO LET ISRAEL GO? I KNOW NOT THE LORD, NEITHER WILL I LET ISRAEL GO.
It’s clear I’m verse 2 this is Pharaoh freely rejecting God.
      *********************************
*GOD HIMSELF CLEARLY SHOWS THE SEQUENCE OF HARDENING in Genesis 6:1.
HE SAYS,’ NOW’ MEANING ONLY AFTER PHAROAH FIRST REFUSED FREELY.
Pay attention to the word “NOW:”
      EXODUS 6:1
1 Then the Lord said unto Moses, NOW SHALT THOU SEE WHAT I WILL DO TO PHARAOH: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.
      *********************************
PHARAOH WAS JUDICIALLY HARDENED AS A RESULT OF HIS INITIAL REJECTION OF GOD.
God was just in solidifying Pharaoh’s hard heart and using it for His glory BECAUSE Pharaoh already chose to reject God:
      EXODUS 7:2,3
3And I WILL HARDEN PHARAOH’S HEART, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.
      *********************************
*God FOREKNEW that Pharoah would be against the Lord.
      He did not determine it.
Pharoah’s heart was ALREADY set against the Lord and as a RESULT God hardened his heart:
*As the Lord had “SAID, NOT as the Lord had “CAUSED”.
      His heart hardened BECAUSE HE REFUSED of his own FREEWILL;
      EXODUS 7:13,14
13 And HE HARDENED Pharaoh's heart, that he hearkened not unto them; AS THE LORD HAD SAID.
14 And the Lord said unto Moses, Pharaoh's HEART IS HARDENED, HE REFUSETH to let the people go.

I hope your church doesn't pass around the plate either RC like the protestants have adopted from the Catholics. You wouldn't want your people to violate the scriptures in relation to giving, give in secret ? Do not let your right hand know what the left hand is doing ?, not give under compulsion ?. Our church has a box up the back and there is no sermon on giving . We let the Lord lead his people in relation to giving 🙏.

@Aaron Pilkey - I would like to congratulate you for having the human capacity to repent and believe thru faith the gospel of the Lord Jesus which bringeth forth salvation. May God give you credit for that.
I also at a young age repented & accepted Christ as my Lord and savior and as I look back I often asked myself why would a 12-year-old in tattered pants & smelly Tshirt come to a late evening evangelistic meeting 6 km away from home just to I hear the preaching of the Gospel ? I'm now 57 and I just thank the Lord that the Holy Spirit did his role of effectual calling to compel me to go and attend that meeting. Hearing that preaching softened my heart hence my eyes were opened as to how sinful and lost I was and needed a Savior. I repented and accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior. Yes, I had the capacity to decide and made that decision ( or free will as you may call it). But it was because of the working of the Holy Spirit. It was to God's credit, not mine. I have nothing to boast. All by His grace and mercy because He predestined it. So looking back God the Holy Spirit actually did it for me as I could not have done it on my own. I was spiritually dead.
Again congratulation on having that human DECISIVE role in making that deal of salvation. You should be very proud of yourself.

To the question f God needs us, I do believe that it can be answered in two ways, one is that of course God doesn’t need us because he could tell angels to do it or use other method, but in another way he needs us because Jesus was full of compassion when he saw the multitudes as sheep without a pastor and he said to pray for the Lord of the harvest to send workers. In other words God’s method is man, and if man doesn’t do it it doesn’t get done

The unredeemed is dead in sin as opposed to alive in God.
The soul does not cease to be but the scripture differentiates between life and existence (1Tim 5:6).
It is moral or spiritual death, not of body but of spirit, not of being but of wellbeing (1John 5:12).
To be seperated from God is to be seperated from all that makes life worth living, because He is the fountain of life.
    (Psalm 36:9 & Deuteronomy 33:23).
To be dead iin the biblical sense is to be sperated from everything that is worthwhile.

I think that every true bible believing, God fearing and Jesus loving Christian wants to do the things that please the Lord, and that includes the area of giving. What Christians struggle with is when preachers takes verses from the Old Covenant to make a case for tithing. Mandatory tithing of ten percent of a believer's gross income is a yoke/burden and is not supported in the New Covenant. You will not find one verse in the NT that requires a tithe from believers. But, where giving is mentioned the "principle" or law of tithing is absent (Luke 6:38; 1 Corinthians 16:1-2; 2 Corinthians 9:6-7, etc.).

For a Christian, Souls are judged “according to their deeds” in the upcoming Judgment Seat of Christ and White Throne Judgment, . That shows that there HAS to be free will, for souls to be responsible for their actions, otherwise having varying degrees of reward or punishment would be impossible. If our actions were predetermined, why have judgment? They would be Kangaroo courts and God would be unjust, which is not possible. If God made us in His image, wouldn’t He pass on free will, also? Would He make free will an illusion? Hmm.. Think on these things

Google compatibilism. Basically it says that God is sovereign and man is responsible. They go hand in hand. Also read the freedom of the will by Jonathan Edwards. We believe in free will (men make choices). However, we understand that after the fall man only chooses sinful things and would never choose God.

I don't think God would direct us to make one of those many choices for salvation but be lying and they only be a predetermined illusion of choice. My point was that the amount of reward or punishment in the future judgments will be based oñ good or bad life choices now, not predestined actions.

The Judgment Seat rewards are just that. Missed opportunities that He put in front of us will be a missed reward; no punishments are involved.
And "good deeds" that are fashioned to publicly receive commendation for ourselves from men, and not done for the exclusive glory of God, won't receive a reward either.

    EFFECTS OF THE FALL
God clearly outlines the effects of the fall in Genesis 3.
**I fail to see any mention of anything to do even remotely with a total inability to respond to Him.**
    CONSEQUENCES OF THE FALL:
    SERPENT:
    1. Cursed above all cattle.
    2. Cursed above every beast of the field.
    3. Upon thy belly thou shalt go.
    4. Eat dust all the days of thy life.
    5. Enmity between woman’s seed.
    6. Shall have head bruised.
    WOMAN:
    1. Enmity with serpent.
    2. Serpent shall bruise heel.
    3. Multiplied sorrow
    4. Multiplied conception.
    5. Desire be to husband.
    6. Husband shall rule over wife.
    7. Banished from Garden.
    8. Would not physically live forever.
    9. Spiritually separated from God.
    ADAM:
    1. Enmity with serpent’s seed.
    2. Serpent will bruise his heel.
    3. Eat of ground in sorrow.
    4. Thorns and thistles brought forth to him.
    5. Eat the herb of the ground.
    6. Eat bread by the sweat of thy face.
    7. Banished from Garden.
    8. Would not physically live forever.
    9. Spiritually separated from God.
    GROUND:
    1. Cursed.
    2. Bring forth thorns and thistles.
    Did God miss something?
Should He have had written down the loss of freewill?
Should He have had written down the loss of the ability to respond to Him?
    REVELATION 22:18,19
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall ADD unto these things, GOD SHALL ADD UNTO HIM THE PLAGUES THAT ARE WRITTEN IN THIS BOOK:
19 And if any man shall TAKE AWAY from the words of the book of this prophecy, GOD SHALL TAKE AWAY HIS PART OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Take heed lest you add to God’s Word and be proved a liar...

Sproul is a Western reformed theologian!
Consider the following from the Christian EAST!
The MISSING DOCTRINE in the Protestant predestination debate is Eastern Biblical GRACE which is "God working in us" to enable ALL people to be free to receive or reject God's love!
    Philippians 2:12-13;
    Titus 2:11;
    1 Timothy 2:3-6
    The order is,
Grace > Repentance/Faith > Life in Christ (regeneration)
Jesus is truly God and truly man! The Bible is about the love of Jesus Christ for all!
    John 1:1, 14; 3:16; 1 John 4:8
It is by freely believing IN CHRIST by GRACE that we are chosen and elect IN Christ who is God's beloved Son and the only One chosen!
    Luke 9:35;
    Ephesians 4, 13;
    Romans 8:29
These riches in Christ are a result of our freely repenting and being faithful to Christ, which we can only do by the GRACE of God which is "God working in us!"
    1 Corinthians 15:10
Apart from Jesus we can do nothing! John 15:5
But God loves His creation and all people and wants all to be saved!
    1 Timothy 2:3-6
In love Jesus willingly died for all in order to raise from the dead to conquer death, sin, and the devil for all!
    This is Christus Victor!
    Hebrews 2:9, 2:14-15;
    1 Corinthians 15:22;
    Colossians 1:20
God's loving Grace, which works in all who are dead in sin, enables ALL people to freely choose to love God and be saved!
    John 6:65; 12:32-33;
    Titus 2:11
But the choice to love God remains in all people!
    John 7:17; 11:35
    The divine order is:
    1) Enabling Grace for all!
    John 6:65; 12:32-33; Titus 2:11
    2) Our freedom to repent and be faithful to Christ! Acts 17:30-31
    3) Being united and made alive with Christ (regeneration)!
    John 20:31
What the Calvinist system does not have is God's Grace "working in us to enable us," to be free to choose to be in Christ!
    Philippians 2:12-13;
    John 6:65, 12:33-33;
    Titus 2:11
The Calvinist system cannot answer why Adam was created very good and created in God's image and likeness with a "mysterious free will" and Adam lived in a perfect environment and had the Spirit of God and yet Adam disobeyed God and fell from grace!
Therefore, Christians can also fall from grace! Galatians 5:4
The Calvinist belief that God predestined most to go to hell, and that they are given no grace to freely believe is not the God of the Bible Who is Love!
    1 John 4:8
God foreknew all those who would believe in His Son by God's Grace!
God predestined them to be like Christ!
    Romans 8:28-30;
    Ephesians 1:4-5
God did not determine who would believe in Him and who would not! God’s foreknowledge does not cause man’s choices!
To choose Christ and receive Christ's love for us will be Heaven.
To reject Christ and Christ's love for us will be the experience of Hell!
The predestined reprobates in the Calvinist system never have a chance to experience the love of God! This is injustice!
    John 3:16
Calvinists believe that in the atonement God the Father poured out wrath and damned and cut off God His Son on the cross! (See Sproul, McArthur, White, etc. sermons) This is a heresy condemned in the Ecumenical Councils because it splits the Eternal Holy Trinity!
Christ died in order to raise from the dead and destroy death, sin, and the devil on behalf of us all!
And now God commands everyone everywhere by the grace of God to repent!
    Acts 17:30-31;
    Romans 1:20

Prevenient grace is not found in the bible can you please show me the passage of scripture that has that word in it describing grace.
I’m a Bible believer so all my doctrine comes from what the Bible SAYS and not what I want it or need it to say to support man made beliefs.
Here’s the BIBLICAL doctrine of Grace:
      It’s just simply called GRACE.
      Not prevenient, not anything else.
      Just simply GRACE.
      SAVING GRACE.
Titus 2:11 clearly states God’s SAVING GRACE has appeared to ALL men.
      TITUS 2:11
11 FOR THE GRACE OF GOD THAT BRINGETH SALVATION HATH APPEARED TO ALL MEN,
Not just grace but SAVING grace.
      Grace that BRINGETH SALVATION.
      ************************************
Q: WHO has this SAVING grace appeared to?
      A: ALL men.
...Not all me are saved so obviously we can reject this grace:
      2 THESSALONIANS 2:10
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; BECAUSE THEY RECEIVED NOT the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
      ************************************
...You have to believe that THROUGH THE GRACE PROVIDED you will be saved:
      ACTS 15:11
11 But WE BELIEVE THAT THROUGH THE GRACE of the Lord Jesus Christ WE SHALL BE SAVED, EVEN AS THEY.
      ************************************
We have to RECEIVE the grace of God that’s AVAILABLE TO ALL in Titus 2:11.
...According to Romans 5:17 we receive the abundance of God’s grace BY FAITH:
      ROMANS 5:17
17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; MUCH MORE THEY WHICH RECEIVE ABUNDANCE OF GRACE and of the gift of righteousness SHALL REIGN IN LIFE by one, Jesus Christ.)
Q: Who shall reign in life?
A: Those who RECEIVE the abundance of GRACE.

Dead is NEVER SHOWN in the scriptures to mean MORAL INABILITY to respond to God’s truth.
Dead means SPIRITUALLY SEPARATED from the presence of God due to sin and the only way to get into His presence is through Christ.
If we were actually dead as reformers portray then we wouldn’t even be able to sin.
Scripture supports a totally depraved man that is spiritually separated from God and obviously unable to save Himself.
This does NOT mean man is totally incapable of responding to Him.
Dead does not relate to your “ability” but to your RELATIONSHIP.
...According to John 5:24 a dead man is able to hear and believe and pass from death to life:
    JOHN 5:24-29
24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, HE THAT HEARETH MY WORD, AND BELIEVETH on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but IS PASSED FROM DEATH UNTO LIFE.
25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and NOW IS, when THE DEAD SHALL HEAR THE VOICE OF THE SON OF GOD: AND THEY THAT HEAR SHALL LIVE.
    26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
    Total MORAL depravity NOT inability
... According to John 5:40 Jesus says, “Ye will not” and He doesn’t say “Ye are not able to,”
    JOHN 5:40
40 And YE WILL NOT COME TO ME, THAT YE MIGHT HAVE LIFE.
    JOHN 6:35
35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: HE THAT COMETH TO ME shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

@10:30 he states “God quickens us when we are dead.”
    REPLY: YES AMEN!
When we FREELY BELIEVE we are DEAD.
God quickens us while we are still dead and AFTER we believe.
Do you believe what the scriptures say or do you believe what this man says?
According to the scriptures you have NO LIFE IN YOU BEFORE CHRIST:
    JOHN 6:45
53 Then Jesus said unto them, VERIFY, VERILY, I SAY UNTO YOU, EXCEPT YE EAT THE FLESH OF THE SON OF MAN, AND DRINK HIS BLOOD, YE HAVE NO LIFE IN YOU.
This scripture is so clear that you have absolutely NO LIFE in you before Christ, yet reformers believe that must have life in order to come to Christ which is the exact OPPOSITE of John 6:45
How can you claim you have any life in you before Him if the very life you have can only be had by eating His flesh and drinking His blood?
You’re a fool if you think you can be quickened before dying and being crucified WITH Christ:
    1 CORINTHIANS 15:36
36 THOU FOOL, THAT WHICH THOU SOWEST IS NOT QUICKENED, EXCEPT IT DIE:
(Not my words you can take any offense up with the Apostle Paul who wrote that. Actually your offense needs to be taken up with the Lord who inspired the writing)
Paul calls you a fool for believing in pre/faith regeneration.
We can’t be born again unless we die first which is being crucified with Christ and being buried and planted together with Him.
And we know that’s impossible and doesn’t happen before Christ and we know that we only come to Christ THROUGH FAITH.
Scripture is clear and if you can’t accept that then you have a problem with scripture and it’s not your authority.
A man made doctrine is your authority.
Calvinism is a spirit and you’re deceived.
    ************************************
...According to John 3:18 can we be born again before we’re justified by faith?
How can you be born again if you’re still condemned until you believe?
    IT’S BIBLICALLY IMPOSSIBLE.
    JOHN 3:18
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but HE THAT BELIEVETH NOT IS CONDEMNED ALREADY, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
    ************************************
...According to John 3:36 how can you be born again before believing because you’d still have the wrath of God on you?
    JOHN 3:36
36 He THAT BELIEVETH ON THE SON HATH EVERLASTING LIFE: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but THE WRATH OF GOD ABIDETH ON HIM.

who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

June Rivera yes you preach deceitfully.
      You preach a lie.
It’s a great deception that comes from satan and the pits of hell to preach “good news” to someone if you have no clue if they’re chosen.
If you were honest with yourself and your belief system then you would preach that Christ didn’t die for everyone.
If you were honest with yourself and your belief system then you would preach that you’re not sure if they’re chosen but you’d tell them “just in case you are” the truth.
You make a mockery of the great commission and God’s GENUINE appeal to mankind.
You treat it as disingenuous and some sort of game of duck, duck goose where you go around trying to “activate” the elect and those who are supposedly chosen.
      It’s not an activation game.
It’s a genuine appeal to preach the gospel because WHOSEVER WILL can be saved if they believe.
You prevent people from being saved and suffer them from entering the kingdom if they’re “not chosen.”
You prevent little children from coming to Christ:
      MATTHEW 19:13,14
13 Then were there brought unto him LITTLE CHILDREN, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.
14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: FOR OF SUCH IS THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.
      MATTHEW 23:13
13 But WOE UNTO YOU, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, NEITHER SUFFER YE THEM THAT ARE ENTERING TO GO IN.
**WOE UNTO YOU REFORMERS AND CALVINISTS WHO PREVENT EVERYONE FROM BEING SAVED BY SAYING SALVATION IS NOT FOR EVERYONE!
      WOE UNTO YOU!
These very words will condemn you.
WOE UNTO YOU who hinder people from freely coming to Christ!
WOE UNTO YOU WHO DO NOT LET PEOPLE FREELY COME TO CHRIST!

June Rivera You quoted Philippians 2:6-11,13.
Can I ask you why you deliberately and intentionally left out verse 12?
Is it because it reveals the CONTEXT of verse 13 and WHO the author is speaking to?
This passage is in reference to BELIEVERS and yet you’re trying to twist it and pervert it to somehow mean that God effectually changes “unbelievers” wills so that they can believe?
Is that why you didn’t want to reference verse 12 because it would expose you and that the verse does NOT support your belief at all?
Let me post verse 12 so all can see you’re deception:
      PHILIPPIANS 2:12
12 Wherefore, MY BELOVED, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
This is taking about the sanctification of the BELIEVER working out their salvation with fear and trembling.
      ”BELOVED”
Has absolutely nothing to do with God changing an unbelievers will in order to believe.
And ironically this passage speaks of Jesus Christ being born in the likeness of men and being fashioned as a man; so if you truly believe this then that would mean according to your perverse doctrine that Jesus Christ Himself had a “sin nature” condemned from birth.
      That’s called heresy.

God did not choose only certain people to salvation. That's absurd. He knew who would choose Him by their free will, and those He knew would choose Him are the 'predestined' ones. How prideful, narcissistic, and egotistical to believe God actually only chose certain people to salvation. Ridiculous. Smh.

This is a long comment but I answered by arguing using scripture so please read it
      Colossians 2:13
[13] [a]And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God [b]made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses,
      Romans 9:9-13
[9] For this is what the promise said: [r]“About this time next year I will return, and Sarah shall have a son.” [10] And not only so, but [s]also when Rebekah had conceived children by one man, our forefather Isaac, [11] though they were not yet born and had done nothing either good or bad-in order that God’s purpose of election might continue, not because of works but because of [t]him who calls-[12] she was told, [u]“The older will serve the younger.” [13] As it is written, [v]“Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.
If predestination was God looking through space and time to see who would choose him, then no one besides Jesus would be in heaven, everyone else would burn in hell for all eternity because of what we have done. And there is no injustice on Gods part

[18] So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills.
[19] You will say to me then, “Why does he still find fault? For [z]who can resist his will?” [20] But who are you, O man, [a]to answer back to God? [b]Will what is molded say to its molder, “Why have you made me like this?” [21] [c]Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump [d]one vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use? @16:07 he ironically quotes 1 CORINTHIANS 1:21
21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that BELIEVE.
    Q: According to 1 Corinthians 1:21
Does it please Him to save people so that then they can then believe after He’s saved them?
    OR
Does it please God to save those that believe?
A: This passage is crystal clear God is pleased to save those who BELIEVE.
**God has sovereignly decreed to choose for salvation, only those who would repent and put their faith in Christ.**
Do you reject this passage of scripture?
This is what pleases God and yet you want to try and tell God what pleases Him after He’s already told us?!
It pleases God to save those who BELIEVE.

You have a problem, belief or faith is a gift of God 2 Peter 1:1, Acts 3:16, Phil 1:29. You also have another problem, what does Holy Scripture state about man's desire of his heart? It's wicked Jeremiah 17:9, evil things come out of it Mark 7:20-23. What does Scripture state about man's nature? By nature he is a child of wrath following the course of this world Eph 2:1-3.
How is it possible to please God if the flesh is hostile to God and cannot please God according to Romans 8:7-8. That's a question I ask you.
If you don't start with God, your theology becomes centered upon what man does rather what God does. I can sense hostility in your comment.

Biblical Theology Thanks for the reply. You say I have a problem and yet I quoted straight scripture and then asked questions based directly of the passage.
So it seems that it’s not me that has the problem but it’s God’s Word.
      I didn’t write God’s Word.
Now I can assure you God’s Word is true and doesn’t contradict itself, so it’s actually you that has the problem in that your opinion and assumptions of those passages you referenced are clearly wrong.

Biblical Theology My theology starts with God and ends with God.
God is actually all throughout so it’s definitely not man-cantered.
Reformed theology on the other hand starts with man, has man in the middle and ends with man as well.
      1) Starts with the man of Augustine around 400 AD
      2) Continues with the man of John Calvin in the 1500’s
      3) Ends with reformed men following in their footsteps instead of scripture.
When scripture says I must BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ I believe it because scripture is my authority and my beliefs are centred on what GOD says and not what man’s systematic says.
*That’s called GOD-CENTERED when you ACCEPT and BELIEVE what His Word says.*
Man-centred is rejecting what His Word says and then interpreting passages to suit your doctrine rather than listening to GOD Himself explain.
God centered is believing it pleases God to save all those who BELIEVE .
*MAN-CENTRED theology is trying to tell God no He can only save those whom He causes to believe.*
God centred theology is believing 1 Corinthians 1:21.
How about we let God tell us who He’s chosen to be saved instead of telling Him who we think He’s chosen by saying He’s just chosen random people to be saved before the foundation of the world for no apparent reason.
But what do the scriptures say?
WHO has God chosen to save?
If God’s Word told me I had to climb a tree to be saved I would believe it.
Scripture is my authority and not a man-made systematic.
So when God’s Word tells me I have to look to the one lifted up I believe it.
According to the scriptures it’s not a group of random people but it’s a very specific group of people.
God in His Sovereignty has chosen to save all those who FREELY believe in His Son Jesus Christ.
NO ONE comes to the Father except THROUGH Christ.
NOT “before” Christ so that you can then come to Christ.
*You can’t enter into the new covenant without the Mediator of that very covenant*
      That would usurp Christ.
You can’t get the surgery done without the surgeon.
You can’t be born again without the very one who regenerates you.
      Reformed theology usurps Christ.
I can’t think of anything more man-centred than going around Christ and claiming to have a relationship with God prior to Christ when scripture says the exact opposite.
My theology is CHRIST-centred in that Christ is the centre and I can’t be regenerated without Him or before Him like reformers believe.

Biblical Theology Mankind has total moral depravity, completely separated from God Spiritually and is totally lost and helpless to save himself and would remain in his fallen state IF left on his own and UNLESS God took the first step and initiated the opportunity to be saved.
The scriptures teach total depravity and NOT total inability.
There’s not one verse you can show me that teaches total inability.
      Total depravity yes.
      Total inability NO.
Dead is NEVER SHOWN in the scriptures to mean MORAL INABILITY to respond to God’s truth.
Dead means SPIRITUALLY SEPARATED from the presence of God due to sin and the only way to get into His presence is through Christ.
Scripture supports a totally depraved man that is spiritually separated from God and obviously unable to save Himself.
This does NOT mean man is totally incapable of responding to Him.
If we were actually dead as reformers portray then we wouldn’t even be able to sin.
None of the passages you referenced say we don’t have the ability to believe.
All of the passages support a totally depraved man and NOT a totally incapable man.
MASSIVE DIFFERENCE which you seem to be conflating.
...According to Hebrews 12:6 we must BELIEVE in order to come to God.
We are able to SEEK Him and if we do He will reward us with His salvation.
      HEBREWS 11:6
6 But WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE HIM: for HE THAT COMETH TO GOD MUST BELIEVE THAT HE IS, and that he is a rewarder of them that DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM.
      JEREMIAH 17:9
9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
*This does NOT say, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can respond to God?”*
But that’s exactly what you would need it to say to support your belief system.
