Starborn sounds like it'll be the big expansion for Starfield before they shift into ES6 marketing. I would say we are on track for e3 2026 being the absolute latest we get a real trailer for ES6. So REAL ES6 leaks will probably not be around until late 2025

It is kinda shocking with how well Fallout is doing and with the Fallout London DLC/Mod is out they would want to fix their game ASAP..... Nope, at least on the Steam Version if your using the latest version of Fallout 4, basically any and all mods that edit NPCs in any way bork the game and make it almost unplayable. I am happy I have the GOG version, downloaded the Fallout London mod right from the GOG site and it just installed and booted up because it uses the pre "next gen" version that breaks more then it fixes on PC & the updates should have just stayed on console an never released on PC. We honestly really didn't need what it fixed, and mods already patched most of what the update did... and now even those mods are borked.

Most diversity in games today are forced and implemented in very cringe ways Hammerfell has decades of lore and amazing history. Bethesda has never said vehicles were impossible. The "vehicles are impossible" thing was a meme made up the the internet to try to dunk on the Gamebryo engine despite the fact there was a driving MMO called Drift city made using Gamebryo, and the engine always supported vehicles.
They didn't say it was impossible. Instead, Todd Howard wanted you to slowly walk so you could take in the immersiveness of empty planets with POIs so far away that you have to walk there. But they're not so far away you can't just land there.
if they add more unique procedural generated content and improve upon it, while adding vehicles and making them fun to ride, it would definitely save the game imo

No other developer does what they do IM THE WAY THEY DO IT. There have been many open worlds made since Skyrim and FO4 and F76 and each of them are unable to grip me like Bethesda's worlds. If they change that as an example, then that wonderful aspect is lost. Sure they could improve the combat, but to what end? Just copy paste Fromsoftware combat? I like the souls games but not everybody does. Writing is subjective and the least intrusive in regards to change. But there's a huge problem. Bethesda DID have a great writer named Will Shen, who wrote the far harbor DLC and was a lead writer on Starfield. And as someone who actually played Starfield, the writing was astronomically better. But he left Bethesda, most likely because of the toxicity regarding Starfield, among other likely reasons. so we lost a great writer for these games because stupid toxic idiots don't know how to effectively communicate their honest criticisms and instead have become living NPCS regurgitating talking points and blatant falsehoods over and over and over again.

What would the controversy be they would be following established lore for hammerfell. Most controversy for things in gaming and movies is because they change the setting and lore for political pandering.
I think Bethesda taking their time with FO5 is a sign that they are putting too much faith in FO76 to hold people's attention. I'm losing faith in the franchise.
People keep speculating that Microsoft can just force BGS to give up a property like Fallout to another studio since they own them now. While MS are the owners now, who knows if, in the purchase deal, the deal/contract had any sort of stipulations about how much autonomy Bethesda could retain. If it didn't, and MS could force a new project into the development pipeline somewhere...all I've been seeing is wishful thinking from people craving another game and nothing more. Not even rumors above just "someone at the company brought it up in one meeting somewhere." On top of that, Microsoft's track record has NOT been one where they force hands a lot of time; if anything, there's precedent that they kind of just let the studios do their own thing, for better or worse. Regardless of how anyone feels on the matter, I'm going to have to see some ACTUAL reporting on movement behind the scenes before I get any sort of hope going for something like a non-BGS Fallout game.
They need to add 10-15 new locations to discover for every update. The fact that you see the exact same thing like 3-4 times in a single play through is so boring

I want a buggy dlc where you just sit in the buggy for days as it goes 5mph across the entire map with no load screen. Occasionally the driver has to get off and kill a wolf or something
What Bethesda has to do is fix the level up scaling, make bigger procedural generated maps if we are going to have vehicles on the planets. This will make us hit the wall even faster now. We also need an interactive loading screen like in the new star wars out laws game and give us a reason to play I want to make a drug underworld on new Atlantis and become like Jaba the hutt. This would make the game much better.

Naw it's true. Literally any game that has a POC as the main character or even side characters or woman main characters get's thrown into controversial these days by reactionary racists "gamers." They call every thing with a PoC or woman "woke" and just never stfu about it.
I want them to fix the bug where the game stutters and freezes every time I download and search for multiple mods on the Starfield mod page (XBOX). Also, I want them to fix the bug where I can't use the weapon shop, clothing shop, item shop, or enhancements in New Atlantis after installing a mod.
The only issue I've seen since the next-gen update to FO4 is that the game CTDs when I try to use most CBBE texture mods, and looking at your little clip there it looks like your issue might also just be an issue of outdated mods conflicting with the updated engine. Bethesda does not seem too happy that people mod their NPCs to make them more attractive, so it's doubtful they'll do anything to restore facegen to how it used to be, mod authors will have to learn how to work with the new system if they want to make those kinds of mods. Of course, they probably won't because they don't seem to want to try leaning anything new.
The Buggy in Starfield is a reason to play it again for me. I didnt like to run for hours on planets to complete them.. but i wanted to complete them. Also the Expansion and the other Updates will bring me back
I need some new variations of planetary locations. Doing bounty missions to get my level up, and it’s cookie cutter rinse and repeat when I clear out some of these locations. Enemy and loot location always the same. I want it to get mixed up a bit. I love playing it, as I can zone out ‘go through the motions’ as it were. But I’d LOVE some new location/enemy base types.
The main problem with starfield is, the story is boring and the worldbuilding is very shallow. So despite being a big fan of space and syfy, i couldn't immersed myself in the game. And don't think bethesda can ever fix that without rebuilding the whole game, which is impossible.

Bethesda is nothing but absolutely insulting to its community anymore. I don't give 2 wide loads about Starfield and as much as I do love Fallout, I want to know what in the world is going on with that 6 year old Elder Scrolls 6 trailer, that's been just left to rot in their cupboards while they stroke Fallout and other games no one asked for. 6 years with just a trailer is the most wildly insulting thing a game company has done in the past couple decades if not all time.

What issues in Starfield do you speak of? Sometimes I think people just hate on a game because it wasn’t the version ‘they’ wanted, Starfield is not a disappointment, having 500hrs in it, up to ng10, it’s not perfect, but it’s not as bad as folk make out either.
Todd didn't confirm they were doing yearly DLC. He was ASKED if they had plans and he hemmed and hawed and said that they'd like to. That means NO.
Even so, I think it's safe to assume that we are getting at least a second DLC.

It would have made a ton of sense to have a B team who kept making Skyrim DLC after Hearthfire. They didn't do that. It would have made a ton of sense to have a B team keep making Fallout 4 DLC after Nuka World. But they didn't do that.
Bethesda has a pattern and that's that they put out DLC the year after a game is released and that's it. That's why they keep trying to push paid mods and Creation Club. Because they want to find a way to keep content rolling in, but don't want to invest their own time and money into it.
@@charlesslaton5924 well they do invest their time and money, the new Starfield CC, there is new quests that are made exclusively by Beth devs and not other modders. So you know, they have to pay them for that labour. Also that's what Todd was getting at in the interview with Matty. He said that they should've considered developing more DLC for their games since at least Skyrim. I hope they finally take the Leap of Faith on Starfield, because for me, one of my consistent criticism with Todd's games is that they end, and I want to play more content.
@@valentinchappa6702 the CC is microtransaction quality and not enough to sell the game or keep people playing. Bethesda has never had content in their CC for Skyrim or Fallout 4 that was comparable to what modders could do. Or frankly comparable to what they themselves did even for the smallest of the DLC.
And yeah. All Todd said is that they SHOULD have thought about it. Not that they did.
And unless big daddy Microsoft comes in and threatens to take the axe to all of them, I have no faith in beth changing their ways.

You keep saying that Bethesda needs to "Change" but can never articulate why or how. If Bethesda did drastically change their identity, I'm not entirely sure I would like the outcome. No other developer does what they do IM THE WAY THEY DO IT. There have been many open worlds made since Skyrim and FO4 and F76 and each of them are unable to grip me like Bethesda's worlds. If they change that as an example, then that wonderful aspect is lost. Sure they could improve the combat, but to what end? Just copy paste Fromsoftware combat? I like the souls games but not everybody does. Writing is subjective and the least intrusive in regards to change. But there's a huge problem. Bethesda DID have a great writer named Will Shen, who wrote the far harbor DLC and was a lead writer on Starfield. And as someone who actually played Starfield, the writing was astronomically better. But he left Bethesda, most likely because of the toxicity regarding Starfield, among other likely reasons. so we lost a great writer for these games because stupid toxic idiots don't know how to effectively communicate their honest criticisms and instead have become living NPCS regurgitating talking points and blatant falsehoods over and over and over again.

What would the controversy be they would be following established lore for hammerfell. Most controversy for things in gaming and movies is because they change the setting and lore for political pandering.
I think Bethesda taking their time with FO5 is a sign that they are putting too much faith in FO76 to hold people's attention. I'm losing faith in the franchise.

People keep speculating that Microsoft can just force BGS to give up a property like Fallout to another studio since they own them now. While MS are the owners now, who knows if, in the purchase deal, the deal/contract had any sort of stipulations about how much autonomy Bethesda could retain. If it didn't, and MS could force a new project into the development pipeline somewhere...all I've been seeing is wishful thinking from people craving another game and nothing more. Not even rumors above just "someone at the company brought it up in one meeting somewhere." On top of that, Microsoft's track record has NOT been one where they force hands a lot of time; if anything, there's precedent that they kind of just let the studios do their own thing, for better or worse.
Regardless of how anyone feels on the matter, I'm going to have to see some ACTUAL reporting on movement behind the scenes before I get any sort of hope going for something like a non-BGS Fallout game.
They need to add 10-15 new locations to discover for every update. The fact that you see the exact same thing like 3-4 times in a single play through is so boring

I have no reason to buy another Bethesda game until they fix what they broke in Fallout 4 (or even just an option to roll back the next gen update on consoles). If they don't care about their customers, then I won't care about their future.

It could be their saves or corrupt game files due to mods and they possibly need to nuke their entire game and tweak the ingame settings or ini files, that's why my game works perfect with no issues at all. As for fallout London I couldn't care for it. I prefer my modded fallout 4 in the good old USA where it is better.

What Bethesda has to do is fix the level up scaling, make bigger procedural generated maps if we are going to have vehicles on the planets. This will make us hit the wall even faster now. We also need an interactive loading screen like in the new star wars out laws game and give us a reason to play I want to make a drug underworld on new Atlantis and become like Jaba the hutt. This would make the game much better.

It will be in Highrock you will be able to play any race like you can now. and in Highrock you have different races so there won't be a controversy.

Naw it's true. Literally any game that has a POC as the main character or even side characters or woman main characters get's thrown into controversial these days by reactionary racists "gamers." They call every thing with a PoC or woman "woke" and just never stfu about it.
I want them to fix the bug where the game stutters and freezes every time I download and search for multiple mods on the Starfield mod page (XBOX). Also, I want them to fix the bug where I can't use the weapon shop, clothing shop, item shop, or enhancements in New Atlantis after installing a mod.
The only issue I've seen since the next-gen update to FO4 is that the game CTDs when I try to use most CBBE texture mods, and looking at your little clip there it looks like your issue might also just be an issue of outdated mods conflicting with the updated engine.
Bethesda does not seem too happy that people mod their NPCs to make them more attractive, so it's doubtful they'll do anything to restore facegen to how it used to be, mod authors will have to learn how to work with the new system if they want to make those kinds of mods. Of course, they probably won't because they don't seem to want to try leaning anything new.

I need some new variations of planetary locations. Doing bounty missions to get my level up, and it’s cookie cutter rinse and repeat when I clear out some of these locations. Enemy and loot location always the same. I want it to get mixed up a bit. I love playing it, as I can zone out ‘go through the motions’ as it were. But I’d LOVE some new location/enemy base types.

Yeah, no it isn't. There are legitimate reasons to not be into Starfield, but bugs aren't it.
The main problem with starfield is, the story is boring and the worldbuilding is very shallow. So despite being a big fan of space and syfy, i couldn't immersed myself in the game. And don't think bethesda can ever fix that without rebuilding the whole game, which is impossible.
