Good progress on brakes! I believe your passion for car repair is something special. Thanks to this channel many people can get to know it and appreciate amazing person you are. You will be able to make a living doing what you love. It may take some time but it sure is worth all the effort. In the end if you do what you love it's not even hard work at all😆. Thanks again for being an inspiration for all home mechanics! 😅. The best is yet to come my friend!
Thank you so much Marcin! Its heartwarming to read these comments!
It's great to see this little thing getting all the love, it's been missing for the last few years.
It really ended up in the right hands :)
Thanks!
Its looking forward to try your field out in the future! ;)
You should spray everything underneath except for the exhaust system with ACF50 to protect it for ever white keeping the dreaded rust at bay.
Those rear alloy drums are fantastic the fins are to aid with cooling and stopping them from overheating, awesome, i had a set of them on my Mini and they worked great.
Acf50 is a great product, and can be used in electrics as well. Especially good for old cars.
The new wheel arches look great.
It's such a pleasure watching you! I hope the best for you Seppo!
Your explanations about time "well spent" is a clue as to why this is becoming one of my favourite "go to" DIY hands on car repair and restoration sites. The man's enthusiasm shines through.
Now retired, I have time to spend working on my cars. Breathing fresh and lasting life into someone else's neglected cast off nice old cars is something that will always give me pleasure, That engine bursting into life first turn of key fully justifying my time well spent. Still in regular daily driver use eight years later.
I enjoy fashioning new cupro-nickle Brake Lines for my project cars. Very satisfying and appeals to my artistic side too. Bonus.
Great to hear!... Its amazing the bond and satisfaction you can get though some old iron, history and 4 wheels...
Yes!!! Another great video about the niva. This really makes my hopeful for my old niva. Will go for a ride tomorrow
Sorry about your job. Glad to hear that you are positive about the situation and I have no doubt that new opportunities will arise. Keep up working in the garage, you are an inspiration to many. Personally, I am looking forward to new episodes on the wonderful A112 Abarth!
Thank you!
Always entertaining and lots of content, you seem to enjoy working on old cars as much as I did when i had the space.I know what you mean about it de-stressing you.Good luck on the job front.I am going to be a patron for the next few months hope it helps you to continue.
Thank you Harry!
Sorry to hear about your job but as so many people have said another door will be opening so good luck video's are great
John
The channel is indeed very inspiring. I'm restoring a Saab 99 myself, hope to be able to drive it next summer.
That's awesome to hear!
Sorry to hear about your job loss. Maybe a door is opening for you to find something better. Those brake calipers are next level.
Yea new opportunitys will come... and hopefully even more time in the garage! :)
You've made great progress on this one. The wheelarches look fantastic. I'm sorry you've lost your 24-hour job (I dropped my job to 30 hours per week a year or two ago so I know exactly what you mean). But you have gained so much experience over the years that I'm sure you would be able to to make up the income through doing paid work. Just take care that the pressure of doing these jobs for other people doesn't spoil your enjoyment.
Your closing sentence is very valid. When the stress of work exceeds the enjoyment, time for a change. Fortunately I learned that many years ago when I gave up a well paid stressful job before suffering burn out. I handed over the keys to the nice company car and the company Credit card I could have abused if I was so inclined and never looked back. You cannot beat being your own boss.
Actually I mispoke.. it was 25 hours! but still nice... 3 days a week!..
Yea I will make sure to keep a balance on work/hobby.... I think I could make good money fixing newer cars, oil change and so on.. but I wont.... I like the old and special stuff!
I am glad you are making the best of losing your job!
I really enjoy watching your videos while I am on dialysis.
Thank you Al.... Great to know you enjoy it! I will crack on!
Thanks!
Much Appreciated! thanks!
great job bro
It's terrific to watch this Phoenix rising. Sorry to hear about your job loss. With your obvious "can do" attitude, I hope a new and better career awaits.
Aluminium drums, I remember something about them being great, once, then after that, an austin allegro's brakes are a huge upgrade... :P
Tack!
Mange Tack! :D
I used to have a Niva. I’m sorry I gave it away. 👍🔧
All these pun-y titles will niva get old
You niva know....
@@SeasideGarage Niva say Niva... Don't you dare stop with the excellent "punes".
They give some people a Lada pleasure...
Do I see a LPG vaporizer near the master brake cylinder? Did the Niva run on LPG? You see that a lot here in the NL. Lada’s mostly did better on LPG than on petrol…..
Yes... the tank is missing though and we have one filler station for LPG in Denmark... so off it goes!
🤣
Go for the RUclips channel! You'll make a great living. It will take a bit longer, but you'll definitely get there. many people make a great living, doing RUclips.
That would be nice... really nice!
@@SeasideGarage You're growing subs pretty fast, my friend. A million times faster than myself. I'm not trying hard enough, at all, which is dumb, really.
@@SeasideGarage YT only just unlocked my community tab today. I have nothing to post on it yet. 😄
@@SeasideGarage Imagine the day when you can buy PUCH, KREIDLER, ETC, MOPED PROJECTS, WITH MONEY FROM YOUR CHANNEL!!!!!
Hej Seaside!
Thanks for all the videos, especially the Rustin Metro! Your videos are great and good mental hygiene for others too. Sorry to hear about your job, but maybe they set you free 🛺🛵🚗
Thank you so much Danny! :D
The metro will come back very soon... !
