Nice clear picture. Following right along on Google Earth. Thanks for the flight Jim. The flight over Seattle at night was sure cool too. Is it tricky to fly over the lit runway and then onto the dark water?

Thanks for your faithfulness posting videos. I never get tired of them. Question, I am on the east coast where every square inch is controlled. Is there atc when you are on those remote arms, rivers and inlets? I noticed on your flight from Vancouver Int'l to Seattle the ATC told you just to find the coast and follow it down which surprised me.

I LOVE all of your videos. The DHC2 Beaver is my FAVORITE top wing aircraft, the floats are the icing on the cake, low wing, obviously the P51 Mustang! I do have a question, forgive me if it is a stupid 1, what are the wheels you turn on the ceiling and the lever you pump between the seats? I fly radio control aircraft and have a 68"wingspan Beaver with tundra tires, a 48" (tundra tires) and 23" J3 Cub, 1- 48" Timber with tundra tires and floats, 2-58", 1-48" and 1-29" Mustangs! I enjoy flying them, wish I had had the time and money to have been able to do what you have accomplished. I wish you luck and safety in your future flights. I live in upstate NY, sucks to be me!

late response but the wheels are for trimming, and the pumping lever is flaps.. theres a little selector as well which sets flaps to pump up or down.

With the BE-18’s we did the same, but 1800 rpm with the Ham-Stan’s,
And 1900 rpm with the 3 blade Hartzells....

How do you maintain low level altitude... Is it by sight or auto pilot? I guess it is probably my perspective yet I do get the heebie jeebies when I see the windscreen fill with lake moreover than sky. :) Sometimes when you look at the water you can't tell how far away from it you are..
