Very impressive. Nice that you did a singular feature test for O4 vs a smorgasbord of raves everyone's doing. Pissed that my RC-2 Fky more DOESN'T INCLUDE THE ND FILTERS. $1550 & its another $100 USD? No power brick either. They learned from phone makers how to increase profits.

The desire to finally upgrade my Mavic Air 1 is growing... especially as the batteries start dropping out with swelling. Over 40 minutes of flight time is awesome!

I just wish the Air 3 had audio recording capability so we could get the Florida Walrus mating call. You should include Flinstones vitamins in your diet - there is nothing like the high that one gets from 'popping Bettys'.

Is it possible to lower sharpness and noise reduction like on the Mini 3 Pro? When set to -2 video quality improved a ton.

I'm curious if it will substantially increase the range of my Mini 3 Pro. That is my only issue with the Mini

on the DJI air 3 do you recommend the settings to be on 12 megapixels or 48 megapixels? It came out of the box on 12 megapixels.

Being I already have the mavic 3 and mavic 3 pro and currently don’t use my Air2s much because of the incredible performance of the mavic 3 pro the air3 OC4 performance at the lower altitude would be a big incentive to purchase the new air3 …for me at least

How you feel about the DJI RC Pro sir. Would you recommend one investing in it versus the regular joint with the screen?

Ken, I bought the Air2s to complement my photography, a camera in the air so to speak and less about video. I take pano's with it all the time but there are some things I don't like about the Air2s and that is the (i think it is 22mm equivalent?) the field of view. It is so wide that I get a lot of distortion and really no compression from the sweep through the pano. Can you shoot a pano with the 3x lens? I think it is a Quad Bayer sensor? How does it stack zooming in against the native 20 megapixels on the Air2s? If I wanted to print large so to speak. Great take on the unit and I so don't want to upgrade but you have made compelling reasons to do so.
Came here first knowing you pull no punches. Thanks for the great review. Lol Florida seal not Walrus! The addition of antennas on the new RC is going to push me to buy this thing. I'm disappointed in the smaller sensor but there are too many positives to pass on, not to mention the C1 rating for those of us that like to travel.
C1 isnt something I concern with... I review products how I use them.

No difference. If something malfunctions at that altitude anywhere and you fall out of the sky, then you're done either way.

DJI put a proper optical variable zoom up to 7x on them cameras so we can have smooth progressive optical zoom with the scroll wheel instead of having to interrupt the action to switch to zoom in steps, come on guys get your act together. Well, that is why my money stayed in my pocket instead of buying Mavic 3 pro and now this Air 3. And now the lighter C1 classification Mavic 3 is out of stock instead of going down in price to push this Air 3 with C1 classification, not nice.
