+Mr Nobodies Wild Camping Adventures me as well. I used to look 👀 for faces in the rocks and wildlife the drone scares up. Sometimes it’s a nesting bird or a rabbit 🐇 flying out of a bush
Nice job sir !! Air 3 has convinced me to sell two of my drones and upgrade. (Skydio 2, M2P, Air 2S) Love flights like this where you just poke around and explore things you can't on foot. Not to mention being safer. Happy flying !!
Great flight! I tried your recommendation of putting my drone in Sport Mode to hand catch. Unfortunately, my Mini 3 Pro did not respond the same. I had trouble getting it to land in my hand and the down sensors stayed on. Thanks again. I enjoy watching your flights on that great red mountain.
Lower the drone to the minimum height. Hold the drone at center from upper side. Raise the drone up by hand and turn it upside down. Drone is just going to shut off without the propellers screaming.
Hi DroneUpp; Check Dads video on the One handed emergency sticks down to the inside method with the quick hand catch Kalamazoo. A Dad Random Signature Maneuver😊 .....
Beautiful flight. We do the same kind of flying. I do the Sandia mountains by Albuquerque, Cabezon peaks, Rio Grande etc. Always enjoy your explorations.
That is such a nice flight and beautiful scenery. Utah is amazing. If I didn’t own the Autel EVO Nano plus, which I really love. I would consider this DJI Air 3 drone but we are looking are more than 2x the price.
Just purchased this! Cant wait for it to arrive and to get some videos up! Awesome video, I may take mine up Snowdon this month, did you have the ND filters on this test?
Beautiful. It was refreshing to see someone flying for the enjoyment and practice! This is how I fly, I am not a pro at it but love to explore. I was hoping to see your map and navigation so I could figure out where you were located in relation to the drone when it was up on the top of the mountain. Thanks for sharing!
+Ger Bear I am at the base of the mountain, on the city boundary of the park. So, outside the park. Get a google map of Ivins, Utah and look at the public access streets. This flight is scaled 1-10 “9” difficulty. I do not recommend anyone doing it if they 1. Can’t afford to lose their drone 2. Cannot deflect curious people 3. Can’t hike 1500” up or climb Etc.. I fly this 1 time with drones that either have capability or I can afford to replace if they brush up against a boulder. My advice
Hello, great video. I’m considering buying a DJI Air 3 and I’d like to know how reliable the obstacle sensors are. Are they trustworthy enough to truly rely on them to prevent any impact, or is it advised to fly the drone being extremely careful with potential collisions, using the sensors only as an additional aid? I get that they might not detect thin wires or branches, but regarding larger objects they’re supposed to avoid, are they 100% reliable or are there instances where they aren’t? I’m asking because if the sensors are only 70% reliable and fail 30% of the time, I might be better off getting a DJI Mini 3, which is cheaper and lacks sensors. Thank you very much!
I love flying around the mountains of southern Utah and Arizona when I go home to Phoenix! The Red Cliffs south of Cedar City Utah are the best! I used to hang out there with friends when I was a teenager when I was living in Cedar. This was an incredible video! You did all the things I want to do and will for sure after watching this! Did you have to control altitude as you flew or did the sensors do that automatically?
Another stunning view of the red mountains!!! Air3 is a great Drone! Have you done a Range test yet? I want to see how far that puppy can go with that amazing Utah location your in.
O4 is amazing!! Just got my Air 3 today and flew it around the neighborhood. I was able to go much much further than I was ever able to with my Air 2s.. Tons of trees here in GA where I live 🌳 🌳
Hallo, ein außergewöhnlicher Flug mit atemberaubenden Ansichten! Super! VG Gert
+@user-ob3jm5up1w my friend Kai (German National) read your comment to me yesterday. Thank you. 🙏🏼 Vielen Dank. Ich freue mich sehr über Ihre freundlichen Worte.
@@condoningdrones I also use Power Director. It can align audio tracks but at least my version won't align video tracks. However, if I start the drone camera and screen capture at the same time, and let them run, then in edit if I remove 10 seconds it removes the exact same 10 sends from the second track (screen recording) so they stay synchronized. You can also use the PIP, picture in picture to have a small screen recording on the same image as the drone's camera.
APAS software doesn't care what your altitude is, so if you lose signal, the drone will fly around objects. Setup the drone in you control menu to BYPASS. That tells the drone to use sensors to fly back to the home point autonomously
Thx for a great video…no offense but you definitely need to mute the snot snorts. I realize that you have a cold but it’s hard to even watch with that going on.
Nice flight. I'm lovin my Air 3 as well. Best drone I've ever owned by far. Cheers!
It is interesting watching the white balance adjusting for the red rock... The grass/weeds almost look blue. Beautiful.
Amazing that rocks have so much hue and light variation
Thanks Shaun. Thanks also for buying that DJI inspire drone, so I didn’t have to. I almost pulled the trigger on one of those
Very nice! I always appreciate that Utah landscape. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it
Beautiful flight! I love scanning my footage to see if there is anything interesting that most people would have missed!

Stunning! Air3 signal strength is impressive! Also impressed by how you stayed cool and calm!!

Very nice, the view is incredible 🤝
Thanks so much for watching
A stunning excursion. I love it!
Looks like the Kingman area. My younger b rother just moved there from Phoenix. Its so beautiful up there! I love flying up there!
Great flight! Can't wait to pick up my Air 3 on Friday!
Cool 😎
Nice flying!

Thank You so much. These flights are both challenging and fun
Great video. Thanks for sharing. Mine is coming today I hope.
Hope you enjoy it!
Wow, that was a breathtaking video , so inspiring that i want to run out and fly. Thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it
An absolutly stunning flight and control, especially with your signal strength and your winding through the gulleys!
It’s a great flight

I hand catch in normal mode with the mini 3

Impressive flight, hardly possible with the power limited transmitting used in Europe.
What limit? you can switch to FCC mode easily in Europe. Google is your friend
So unlock it

Fabulous quality video.

Thanks for hanging out and enjoying the video
nice flight there DR, I also love flying over mountain tops
thank you

I flew the nano plus up this mountain. 😅 It did it perfectly
Nice!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Neat scenery! That would be a terrible place to try to recover a crashed drone! Very nice drone!
+Okie-Tom you don’t recover it. It’s all or nothing
Holy crap that was beautiful Chris wow super cool, I felt like I was at the movies wow 👍
Thanks, that means alot
Great flight as always, thanks Random , did you try that with the mavic 3 ?
I did it with the Mavic 3 but not the Pro
Fun flight, great video. Should have lock the WB too.. :-)
You are right!
Awesome flight.
Thanks 👍

on me soon.

Yes, definitely

Auto RTH Bypass Mode. Don’t fly the cliffs without it. Yes. Saint George Red Hills Parkway area.

Nice. Heard it ascends and descends faster than the Mavic 3 👍
Yes it does!, its touchy
5:30 5:37 wow that hill climb is eye candy
I am spoiled for sure
Why do we witness picture “warps” from time to time?
Were you using an ND filter?
No, I haven’t received any yet from a manufacturer. I usually do. Will get you the 411 on a set as soon as they arrive
This is quite impressive! Mine is on the way this week. Question how do you switch from screen capture to drone footage so seemlessly?
I use an editing software called power director
@@DadRandom Thanks for the info. I assume it aligns your drone footage with the screen capture. However you do it, I am amazed at the results!

Speed it up and you would think you were flying the Maltese Falcon! After watching this, I need to trust my sensors more.
Do you trust your sensors 1.5k worth? How about a 3k drone? I’ve flown all of these within inches of rocks at 1000 feet
That title name though, 'Pause"
Hope thats good 🤣
What do you set your RTH altitude at when mountain climbing like that?
APAS software doesn't care what your altitude is, so if you lose signal, the drone will fly around objects. Setup the drone in you control menu to BYPASS. That tells the drone to use sensors to fly back to the home point autonomously
It's like watching Bob ross with a drone!

Really nice footage. Loved the shots of the climb up, especially as you got to that solitary tree. Out of curiosity, where in Utah is this?
That tree was just lit 🔥 the most expressive way this flight.
