I do not own the rights to the Game of Thrones footage. It is being used under the Fair Use Act and has been shortened significantly, is taking up only 25% of the screen, and has been altered (cut, blacked out, blurred, and/or silenced) in order to honor the Fair Use Guidelines. All rights go to HBO Entertainment.

The fact that they cast Sean Bean was itself a spoiler.
I have a theory that Sean Bean knows that he will become immune to any death he suffers in a movie or TV show so he’s trying to collect every possible way to die in order to become immortal.
He has actually survived in quite a few big or well known films (he sems to survive more often in smaller films though) . 😎
(spoilers)
When Saturday Comes
Bravo Two Zero
Troy
North Country
Percy Jackson & the Olympians
Mirror Mirror
Jupiter Ascending
The Martian
I'd say overall he has about a 50/50 chance of surviving a film 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@ I remember in the movie Silent Hill I was astounded because he was one of the only people to actually survive.
@
Yeah, though he is quite good at dying....
Someone should do a study of size of movie budget vs Sean Bean likelihood of death. 😎🤔
The stag is for house Baratheon. The stag and dire wolf killing each other in the first episode was significant.
If you get caught after leaving the Night's Watch you are beheaded.
8:20 "What happens if you like desert the nights watch?"
-Remember episode one?
I didn't at the time. It had been about two months between watching that scene and this episode.
Maester Aemon's reveal is so cool. He's also one of my favourites, very comforting character.
Actually, this episode is like top-5 for me in the whole show.
Stag is Baratheon. I recommend paying some attention to the metal thing in the credits with all those mascots, noticing which animals do what to which ;)
Ned Stark showed us exactly who he was over and over and over: a man who would do anything for those he loves. And love is the death of duty.
And to add insult to injury, they killed Ned with his own ancestral sword, Ice 😢
The stag (deer) is the sigil for the Baratheons (King Robert and his family)
We saw in the first episode what happens to someone when they leave the Night's Watch. Ned Stark delivered the king's justice to the guy .
The copium from this moment in real time was ridiculous. There were all these theories floating around about him somehow surviving 😆
If you like Jerome Flynn (as everyone does!) you should try to see the BBC series 'Ripper Street', set in East London just after the Ripper murders, in which he has a major role. I loved that series.
I totally forgot Bron's actor used to be in a band. I think they only had a couple of hits. And now I need to remind myself of their songs. Ned basically failed at playing the Game of Thrones 😢. All the way through this video I was talking to you, giving you hints etc. I wont type any of it. I just wanted you to know I am very invested in these reactions. ❤
IIRC, desertion carries the death penalty. I think it has for much of human history so it probably applies to the Nights Watch as well. I think the first episode had someone killed for deserting his post after escaping the white walkers.
If he leaves and gets caught then he can be put to death. It’s not that he can’t return if he left. He would die if he did return.
Fortunately, nothing else bad happens.
I 100% believe you.
