I had never heard of Alter Bridge or Myles Kennedy until guns and roses hall of fame induction. Axel Rose refused to go so Slash asked Myles to sing and he killed it. He is now singing lead with Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators . Myles and Slash did a lot of acoustic stuff together that I’m just now discovering. I can’t believe I didn’t know anything about this guy until recently. I just saw him in a reaction by a vocal coach who had found footage of him on stage with Disturbed performing Sound of Silence with them was just amazing. Sorry I’m rambling but I haven’t been this happy about finding music I didn’t know about ever😊😁
When I hear a song for the first time what has the most impact on me are the lyrics that I can apply in my life. The more they resonate with my experiences the more I'm attached to a song. That is, I think, normal for most people, we easily resonate with familiar emotions. This song doesn't apply for me yet, but I feel it coming to reality sometime in the future. "Who's gonna Save you when I'm gone and Who will Watch over you?" - that line I will remember, such powerful words. We all may have somebody in our lives that we care about and who we are concerned about - children, parents, partner.. It was like a tidal wave of emotions, simple and honest performance, just a guitar and that beautiful voice singing with pure heart. The kind of performance I wish I could have been in the audience at that moment.
There's a song called In Loving Memory by Alter Bridge. I suggest you to listen it. If you like this one, you'll probably like that one too :). It's a song written by their guitarist Mark Tremonti for his mother.
Blackbird is one of their most iconic songs ever..its one that will go down in history as one of the greatest. The guitar solos are insanely awesome! Do the live from Wembley version.

Alter Bridge is Creed with Myles up front. IN LOVING MEMORY, live Amsterdam. A song the guitar player wrote for his mom after she passed.They are truly a great band.
HAP, I heard his voice & it rang a bell but I could not place it. It's such a beautiful voice I knew it was familiar ...& the lyrics are beautifully thought- provoking. Where had I heard him? So I looked under Alter Bridge because it was so familiar. Once I pulled up his name it instantly came to me. He is known as Miles Kennedy & I have heard him in the past with Slash, the famous guitarist. He also, if I remember correctly, (but I'm not sure,) has appeared years ago... cause he has to be at least 45 .. with Aerosmith, & other rock bands as a "background guitarist " if that's the correct terminology... for different concerts. His voice is so powerful., smoothe & frankly unexpected. Where has he been all these past 20 years or more. I knew immediately when they listed his name in the Alter Bridge band. I wonder why he disappeared for so long. His voice is pure honey. Great reaction. His first few words seemed to hit you Ike a ton of bricks... I think everybody was surprised as well at his smoothe voice. Will you go down the 🐇 hole? He's definitely worth it. Wow.... Miles Kennedy from my past. So glad you followed this fan request.!
