Hey Feb, this one wonders if you know that Shadowstar Castle has been up dated. This one will tell you that it will require a new game to use. The Library was removed from the collection room. Which is good as this one HATES large number of mannequins. Nasty things those mannequins, this one tells you they are worst than Mudcrabs
@@FebrithDarkstar Yes I have the new version, and Skylazz did some nice touch ups to the place.A new (Hidden) vampire chamber for those that choose to be.A lady ghost roams the castle and the display hall has a slighty new design !!
I think this has to be one of the best looking castle I have viewed, I love the display alcoves what a fantastic idea. This mod author has wonderful talent. Hopefully we see more from them.
Me- hanging out on older Febrith videos because once agaaaaaiiiiin I am house hunting, and I need my "realtor's" advice on this potential new house. LOL. Seriously, I really should just STOP COLLECTING FOLLOWERS, then I would not need any more houses. Oyyyyy. But thank you, I have decided I want this one after all. Location near Morthal is good, I do not have any castles near there.... until now.
3 things: 1. It's weird without Inigo 2. Why don't you do initial fly-by of houses anymore 3. If I make a little spell mod that every 20 seconds drops 1 septim and puts a funny mask on any mannequins nearby, would you use it lol
I distinctly saw catapults. I had to have them! The 30,000 septims was daunting as I seem to have been heavily investing in real estate lately. After Feb's tour and my own experience with this creator I knew it was worth every coin. I said a fervent prayer to Spendarr (the god patron of adventurers grinding through the wasteland trying to raise money). Spendar was told by his parents that he could be a Divine just like his second cousin Stendarr if he would just learn to apply himself. He didn’t and so there you have it. He let himself go a little over the years and as as the girth of his statues grew he became known as Big Spendarr but despite the mean jabs he still keeps a good attitude and tries to help wring just a few more septims out of the junk desperate adventurers are trying to turn into cash. As I picked up yet another empty mead bottle to turn in for the recycle deposit I realized that Mod-Mora, the Daedric Prince of Infinite Lifetimes In The Pursuit Of Happiness is constantly at work tempting us with perpetual reincarnation. His motto- “There is no afterlife, just the next life with better stuff”, drives us to seek the ultimate cosmic do over. They both pulled through and I moved in last night. Now THIS is a castle! Lazz does such great work; especially at making large structures approachable and comfortable. The use of light, colour and texture is terrific and there are just enough green growing things and water accents to add life and peace exactly where needed. A big seller for me was that it feels like a castle that could actually serve the purpose. So many castles put on a good show but often butt up against an easily scale-able mountain or some such. Without good security at the back you leave your flanks exposed and nobody wants me doing that around here! There's also catapults, they shoot flaming balls out into the distance and I had many a manly adventurer Dragonborn chuckle doing so. I have had to reassign one of the guards who came stomping up to ask who was giggling like a total fool up there. Any guard who can’t tell the difference between a manly chuckle and a giggle cannot be trusted to hear danger as it approaches. All security personnel and staff not currently assigned to guarding the toilets assure me they know the difference and are sure they only heard manly chuckles from the catapult area. I trust their judgment.
Thanks for taking this place on! It can be a little intimidating at first, but it's not that bad to get used to. It's where I store my favorite followers (Inigo, Lucien, Auri, Caesia, Virelda, Serana, Vilja, etc.) and where I am when I need to get away from the kids, lol. The display hall is definitely my favorite, and it's convenient to have a bookseller there so you can attempt to fill it up (and for LOTD purposes =)). Skyrimlazz once answered that he was the most proud of Dragonfall Castle, but I have to disagree a little, as this place is absolute perfection and has a little more soul. I completely agree that it's hard to choose a favorite view. I have to stop fangirling someday, but today is not that day =P.
Lol - he really IS amazing though - with a very signature style so even when somewhere is COMPLETELY different (the Ayleid places for example) you just know they're by him. I love Dragonfall for the armour - which I'm STILL wearing lol:)

Really cool place, nicely decorated and full to, so no big empty spaces like a lot of castle mods. The Living quarters to, that is very, very nice, loved that. I would get this mod my self it's ace far as I see it.
"It's a big pile in a wonderful place", "rude people everywhere" I'm sure I'm missing something in translation or miss-heard but I had a good laugh at that. Love your descriptive manner. Nice camera work at the intro. Really enjoying your home tours.
A castle that the creator set out to make as close to an actual "castle" as possible. While real castles boast better plans for defense, compared to the other 'castles' in Skyrim, this has real merit. It's not perfect, but it's more than a stone wall and an iron fence. You would have to get serious to take this place. I congratulate the modder.
