I thought about doing this in my guest bedroom a few years ago and never got to it. Instead, I bought some really beautiful finials. Both ideas to which I still haven't done. Now you've motivated me to get going. Thanks!😂🤣🥰👍🏿
Totally understand. I’m glad this has motivated you. 🤗
Very nice and well done and easy. Thank you for sharing
Thank you!!!
I made a cornice board for my dining room some years ago after trying to get one made by a professional that was gping to cost an arm and a leg 😂 great job 🙋🏾💕
As always, you knocked it out of the park! I wouldn’t even think of doing a cornice board with your step-by-step tutorial in this video
Thank you!!!
At first I didn't know what this was. I was she making a nice bench. Now I know 💚💚💚💚 TFS
Treshaja you did a phenomenal job being this your first one. Love the color of the fabric. Just practice the folding of the fabric in the inside. They use to have a kit at Joanns that may be cheaper then buying the wood.
Thanks Evelyn for the feedback. I’ll do that.
Hi Treshaja! This is a 100 +++++ Sometimes the budget and supplies lend a hand to our creativity. You really nailed it. Always a FAN of your ingenuity! When the client is happy we all are. Keep Soaring Tresha!
I need to do this because, I dont like the "typical" kitchen curtains with grapes, wine, roosters... So, I'll do this cornice with kente cloth. Thanks.❤
I like that idea! 😊
Great job for your first time. You nailed it!! Thanks for sharing.

Nicely done Tresha
Thanks Phyllis!
Great job 👏🏽
Thanks!
Nicely done
Thanks!
Nicely done Tresha! I love this look and it does look easy to execute. Have you thought of finishing the back? Not that anyone is going to be looking back there at staples but finish the back like you would the underside of a chair? Whether or not you finish the back, this project is A1! Job well done madam.
Thanks Anthonia for the feedback. I’ll make sure to do that.
Cool. You collect Lladro!
Very nice job. First time or not. May I suggest adding a fabric lining over everything in the back,, maybe using fabric glue and a few hidden well placed staples? Fold your lining along the edges to "hem" it first, then cover all your tucks and staples. Use the same fabric as cornice, or muslin or a complimentary color or print to finish the work. Only offering tips because it's your first one. It's really great as is Tresha. Enjoyed the video, as always.
Thank you for sharing the feedback. I’ll make sure to do that.
This is great I may try this Its nice because this can be easily taken down for a change How much would you say this project cost to make Tfs!
It was about $50 for 2 of them.
@@treshaja Thank you !
what type of wood did you use?
Pine
What we call a pelmet in the UK.
Yellow wall, red pelmet, white curtain.
Started out nicely. As it went along, not so much. Lost patience.
I can’t wait to see your videos. I hope I don’t lose my patience either.
