He has said to me that he always felt that we had a beautiful home, whether I painted tables, sewed curtains, made the coffee table a play station, or skipped owning a dresser, I too tried to make him feel safe and loved there. He was my priority. Your children must surely feel that way too. Bravo! You are another example of the strength of women and mothers, even when we are single and financially strapped. I remember the first time I saw a video about this apartment, it was on the Apartment Therapy You Tube channel in 2023. At that time the mom featured here was married and while I admired the creativity of the set-up, I could not help but wonder about the mimimal dedicated sleeping or hangout space for her and her husband. One year later, the family unit has undergone a significant change. For this now single mom, this apartment makes a LOT more sense to me.

As someone also living in a small apartment (that I love) and thinking about having kids soon, this video reassures me that I do not have to move from my beloved apartment just because I have children. Jenny's ability to reinvent, reuse, and live small, not only makes life more affordable, but also is great for reducing her family's environmental impact. I love interiors and designing our home to be a functional and stylish family home. I like laid back easy decor and plenty of plants! Her home is beautiful, but her energy and her essence spoke to me the most. Jenny, in this video provides such an amazing example of how to make a home functional, welcoming, and adaptable. As someone also living in a small apartment (that I love) and thinking about having kids soon, this video reassures me that I do not have to move from my beloved apartment just because I have children. I am impressed by Jenny's creativity and knowledge. Jenny's ability to reinvent, reuse, and live small, not only makes life more affordable, but also is great for reducing her family's environmental impact. Jenny has put so much time and thought into her home, and it is evident how deeply she cares for the changing needs of her children as they meet different developmental stages. Jenny has lovingly created a home that is fun, safe, and beautiful. I look forward to using Jenny's work as an inspiration and framework for how to reinvent my own home as I go through the next stages of life.

I'm blown away by this mother! Very inspiring use of a small space that really caters to her childrens needs while still being visually appealing. I have a bigger space for my littles, but I'm going to use some of her ideas. Her children are lucky to have her!
I love interiors and designing our home to be a functional and stylish family home. I like laid back easy decor and plenty of plants! Her home is beautiful, but her energy and her essence spoke to me the most. She defined the epitome of a family home; to be nurturing and calming for our souls and especially for the children who live there.

To know that she has lived in this apartment for 17 years once as a single person and then curated this space to accommodate her growing family meanwhile, incorporating comfort, fun, and functionality is beyond amazing.
