    All I could hear from instructor was yes, it would been nice to hear their conversation, I could imagine most of it but still. I was a Cobra gunship pilot in Nam and want to take lessons this summer but I still would like to hear her talk.

      Unfortunately all I had was a go pro so couldn't get the inductors voice which was a shame because it would have helped my learning xXx

    Is it just me or does anyone else think the Rotor needs a new Bearing ?
    Either that or there is a bad spot on a swash plate. It just sounds worn to me.

      Autogyros don't have a swash-plate. The blades are fixed-pitch (no collective) and rather than cyclically variable pitch as found in a heli, the entire rotor-head tilts.
      The wsss wsss wsss wsss noise is typical for an autogyro in cruise. When the rotor is more heavily loaded (such as during tight turns or rapid deceleration) it changes to the chop-chop-chop noise more commonly associated with helicopters.

    Lovely, but SOOOOOOOOO frustrating !!
    No RT audio.. and far too much ENGINE noise.
    Still, the countryside was gorgeous, :-).

    Why altimeter is not set to zero?

    • @chucksdesk
      @chucksdesk 6 лет назад +2

      Field elevation is set if you don’t have a current altimeter setting

    Calidus?

      Jeff Kramer Calidus is a closed cockpit model, while this is an open cockpit. From the overall design, I'm guessing its an Autogyro MTO

      Thanks, that's what I figured out later.

    Any alien that came down to earth in this area would be too taken by the beauty to be aggressive. Where is this?

      Looks like Villers-Bretonneux. Didn’t seem to make much difference back then.
