For me, the 80s are the most memorable as far as music is concerned. Honeymoon Suite was a seriously underrated band IMO. Still listen to their 80s tunes today at 62 years old. 👊

Im 50 and loved these guys in high school and then something really cool happened a few years after high school; these guys were playing the county fair circuit in the summer of about 1992 (give or take a year or two) and the came to play at the Logan County Fair in Sterling Colorado. My brother in law got the contract to do the electrical for the concert and that got me front row and center ALL BY MYSELF because they set up the stage so the rest of the crowd were in the seats behind me. They sang the whole concert basically to little old me, and I danced the entire time pissing off every jealous female who didn't have front row access like me. Got lots of guitar picks as souvenirs and great memories of that night!!

Mark Garno I. absolutely agree. I'm from Syracuse, NY, went to Niagara University in the late 80's and had so many good times in Ontario. I can't tell you how many times my friends and I would walk over the Rainbow Bridge on Friday and Saturday nights and go to the bars over the border in NFalls, Canada. I enjoyed those nights so much more than those spent in NF, New York. That wonderful time in my life was when I fell in love with Canada and all of it's amazing bands. And I still love them all. Have seen many great Canadian bands perform....BareNaked Ladies one of my favorites. Of course Honeymoon Suite, Alanis Morrissete, Rush, etc. That's also when I discovered all the great bands from England. I'm long overdue for a trip to Canada or a concert for that matter. Wish I was still living in the 80's, ha,ha.... Fantastic memories I made and think about still. Not to mention all that amazing Canadian beer. Molson Brador my favorite.

We always took a few 'two-fours' (cases) of Brador down with us to share with our American friends who we'd see every summer. Brador went down so smoothly, but had almost twice the alcohol content as American beer did back then. It was fun watching our American friends get wasted so quickly! lol And to drive home the point, I literally had (American) 'Beer & Cheerios' for breakfast every morning! lol :) Good times with good folks! :)

But nothing will tell the story like being there, in the moment. The 80's were truly the best of times. We who lived them are blessed with a special privilege. The music is but a wonderful snapshot of what was.

One of my fav honeymoon suite memories was their appearance on Solid Gold, synching this song. I think they were showcasing it to try and break it in the States. The guitarist - who is a great guitarist - got really into the solo and broke a string. You could see it dangling. I think he started chuckling to himself a little, cuz it was all synched and he knew it didn't matter.

Just awesome, even after all these years.
If you would just be sensible, you'd find me indispensable
I pray deep down to destiny
That it places you with me whoa
Wanting you here, in the sheets
    Wandrin' around incomplete
    Waiting so long
    To feel it again
I thought that this heart would never mend
To feel it again I know it is the living end
To feel it again (to feel it again)
I thought that this heart would never mend
To feel it again I know it is the living end
    Another scratched or scribbled note
    To handsome men in overcoat
Deception right in front of me
    A jealous fantasy whoa
    Something that sets you apart
Tightens your grip on my heart
    Don't ever let it go
    'Till I feel it again
I thought that this heart would never mend
To feel it again I know it is the living end
To feel it again (to feel it again)
I thought that this heart would never mend
To feel it again I know it is the living end
All that I know (to feel it again)
That people may come and people will go
I don't really care (to feel it again)
    As long as you're there
    As long as you're there
Feel it again (to feel it again)
I thought that this heart would never mend
To feel it again I know it is the living end
To feel it again (feel it again)
I thought that this heart would never mend
To feel it again I know it is the living end
To feel it again (to feel it again)
I thought that this heart would never mend
