@@marcushaas44 my gen8 has the 1.9's and they work really well. Better than my 2.2 boggers. The boggers are too tall. Believe it or not if you cut the foams and trim some tread off the stock everest 10 tires they work surprisingly well and they stabilize the truck so you can side hill a million times better. Just have to get a high torque servo to turn them well.
It looks like the Louise CR-ROWDY Tires. So what's the original, Louise or Duratrax? I used on my Axial SCX10 II the Louise CR Champ 1.9 Super Soft Tires. This Tire feels great for me.
I was your 10,000th subscriber !!! You had 9,999 when I subscribed last night. I found your page and really liked it. I was surprised to see you "only" have 10k your content is soo good. You deserve way more subs.
Very helpful video I needed taller tires for my crawler I bought these because of this video they give way more clearance now it crawls over things without even touching underneath when before it would get stuck . Thanks for the information very helpful .
Work pretty nice on loose surfaces, bought mine mounted up.....glued on. A bit light on the weight though. Would have been nice since glued to be an ounce or two heavier.
I have the Deep Woods version and I'm very please with their performance. Only one advice: The stock foams are WAAAY too Soft. Change to dual stage (preferably w/ closed cell inners) and watch these tires really come alive and perform.
I've used Duratrax buggy tires... Lockups and Banditos. The lockups are better than ProLine Trenchers and the Banditos grip like a full scale DOT track tire.
Been happy with them. Good wear as well considering I'm running them on a TRX6 that sees 1700 watts go through its esc to a geared down 4100kv 3s crawler motor. HAHA.
Hey Greg do you think these would be a good set for my Redcat Pro Camo X4? If not can you or anyone else name some tires / wheels that would not only look good but perform as well?
Just asking - will these tires/wheels work on an otherwise stock Traxxas TRX-4? They just look llike they'll grip better than the stock rubber, and they DEF look better!
I gotta say really like your channel a lot ! I have the duratrax sct wheels for my slash 2wd vxl and they are awesome. In my opinion they are much better than the stock wheels.
Tires seem pretty good price? Also you should look into a sensored system for your wraith it sounded like it was cogging a bunch when you were trying to get overstuff at low speeds.
Price is great for what you get. Yes, we're aware of the cog. The rig doesn't have the right system in it... long story, but basically my kids just use this rig for fun.
Hello! i've just started watching your website and already loving it! I can see that you know what you are talking about. I got a question or a request! could you make a video about a GP Kyosho ultima ST. just bought one and wanted to see how I clean it and start it because the one I bought haven't started for many years and I don't wanna destroy it. hope you can help me for some sort ^^ you got urself a new fan from Norway
Thanks for watching Tommy Tolo ! We probably can't do a specific video on the Ultima, but we do have some helpful nitro videos on our to do list for the future.
Firstjimmy Lasthedgecock I recommend the duratrax c2 line tiny bit stiffer than c3 just got lock ups st c2 on my rustler vxl work perfectly, grips is amazing and it is still surviving
Jahmen, I've been in the hobby for 32 years and I was an editor for two of the world's best RC magazines for 22 years. I haven't done much with video, but that is changing.
RCDriver_Online thank you for your response in really new to this hobby under a year. So all and any info Incan get is very helpful. Your channel handles all of that. Great body of work so far I'm new to video also. No judgement here
Can you give me a link to some off road tires I I'm buying a 75 dollar rc car and I'm thinking about getting it a truck body and some offroad tires but I need some cheap off road tires because I don't have much money
Sil ForBillion as far as soft compound crawler tires go, they're pretty cheap. $30 for 4 tires. Half the price of rc4wd, pit bull, and proline tires. Cheaper than stock trx-4 and stock axial tires too.
@@lossantoscity3249 tower, amain, hobbytown, etc. I picked up mine at a local b&m. 15.99 for 2 tires. Proline hyrax are 28.99 for 2, super swampers are 29.99
Been having Showdowns on my Redcat gen 8 for about a year now,and I found them to work very well
Did you use 1.9 or 2.2?

Duratrax just came out with a class 1 version of this tire along with some other class 1 tires

Congrats on 10k, Greg
Thank you Rich!
I though this was the same channel... um. com. for. ta. ble........
been happy with my 1.9" Deepwoods
Seems like a lot of people like the Deepwoods. Thanks for watching
just bought a set deep woods 1.9 mounted for my gen8 they work good 28.00 a set hobby town
I have the Deep Woods version and I'm very please with their performance.
Only one advice: The stock foams are WAAAY too Soft.
Change to dual stage (preferably w/ closed cell inners) and watch these tires really come alive and perform.
Thanks for the note!
They would probably almost perfect with some 2 stage Crawler Innovations Foams. Nice video.
Just had to order my C/I foams. Those foams on the stock were garbge the minute any water came in contact with them.
I've used Duratrax buggy tires... Lockups and Banditos. The lockups are better than ProLine Trenchers and the Banditos grip like a full scale DOT track tire.
Well I say thank you as your Channel is unique and full of useful information alongside tips and tricks keep up the good work
I think the foams were a bit to hard, still looked good though! And for the price they work if your looking for a cheap hop up wheel and tire combo.
They are a bit firm, but yes for the price, certainly worth a look for those on a budget.
Youre the next big thing ever since URC left
Reckless FB totaly agree
Even though URC didn't like us. He did a great job on a lot of his work. Thanks for the compliment.
I really liked urc although he did have thin skin
What problem did URC have with you?
THE TIRES ARE VERY GOOD. I USE THE SAME ON MY AX10
Parabéns pelo vídeo amigo.... Esse pneu é 2.2??
Qual a largura e a altura dele.??? Obrigado
DEEPWOODS tires, are totally AWESOME!!! ;)

....that´s right my friend. I love them too!!! For me the best allround hardcore tires ever!
How about a comparison which would bog down or advantage?
Running stock electronics in this video?
what electronics and gear you got in that wraith

i have the same question!
I’d like to know also.
Trx-4 uses 1.9. They have 1.9 tires. But I prefer their deep woods tread design
I gotta say really like your channel a lot ! I have the duratrax sct wheels for my slash 2wd vxl and they are awesome. In my opinion they are much better than the stock wheels.
Do you know the o.d for the deep woods 1.9
Nice job! I really enjoy your channel!
Thank you!
Been wondering ifvthese would rub on the tailwalker
Love the channel keep up the good work

I have I Traxxas Slash and I want to change the tires how tight should I get them? I am going to use the Trencher wheels by Pro line.
They are premounted also
They should be pretty tight. A bit past snug.
Thank you for your great vids
Thanks for watching Sjak Joosten !
Hi, I have a question!
Will these work on Traxxas TRX4 without any modifications?
I mean both 1.9” and 2.2”
Imran Ansari yes
Nice review man! 👌
I love you duratrax tires. wood this c3 work on traxxas stampede 4x4 vxl tsm.

Happy New Year.
Rock crawling starts at 4:37.
Is that a stock motor if not then what kind of motor are you running it on
keep the videos coming ther helpful
Thank you Cooper
In the R/C truck world I have never ran across a bad all purpose tire as of yet.
They look like they need a good scuffing first?
Seen those tires on wish app great work

Showdowns are best overall
I have one video in my channel testing the same tires in my spawn crawling
Cool
but where are the rocks?
Hint (5:07) not marshmallows. ;-)
Tires BIG fucking sheets.
He should make a body painting video

mm ? you're in America bro
We are.
I believe one of the most things about crawling is the scale. There is no challenge with using unrealistically big tires.
They are Not that cheap thats the Same tyre from louise
Bigger isn't always better, you need to know drive !
make that 10,002 subscribers ;-)

Cheap? This tires are very expensive!
