Guys, I really can’t understand why pretty much everyone hates this song! Their staging was flawless and their vocals were on point. Plus, Eurovision is about giving each country a chance to showcase their culture, something that most countries don’t do nowadays. Georgia did it this year in the most honest and humble way possible. I’m very disappointed by the fact that people couldn’t appreciate this. Please don’t withdraw, Georgia. Greetings from Mexico!

I guess because a lot of opinion videos have driven people towards hating this song. I was pretty convinced that this song is boring before. Yet, once I tried to listen to this properly, it's BEAUTIFUL. One of the most original compositions in thr contest, indeed. I gues being original can be a hit and miss too, perhaps.

It's one of those songs of which the live version sounds better than the studio version. Last place in the semi-final was way too harsh.

Srbija i jos nekoliko zemalja su izuzetci, nazalost ako se ne slozimo svi oko jedne pesme za koju glasamo nemamo sanse protiv vecine. I'm truly sorry that the regular viewers couldn't understand the dazzling beauty surrounding this song. Unfortunately, the esc fans gave a clear message: stop trying different and go for the most jejune dance tune (cough Australia cough). Anyway, congratulations Georgia and please, don't give up on experimenting different sounds.

It's not hatred of course. Many people are just so overstimulated and unused to listen quietly that it's difficult for them to sit back and make an effort without feeling bored.

I usually listen to Rock and Balkan Hip-Hop but this is just magnificent. The studio version via a good Hi-Fi System gives you chills.
But I get why it got voted out. Whereas Etno-Balkan sounds had many Dany fans today, the Rock group was brilliantly represented by Hungary you only have left the stereotypical esc fan who loves shity EDM with no heart at all

because according to them it is ''boring'',for me,this song is on par with FYROM's musical structure,but unlike FYROM's mess of genre's,their's actually makes sense.Their approach of being unpredictable and with the power of their harmonization,it was an almost flawless take on the ethno-jazz genre. However,Ethno-Jazz will always be overshadowed by the pop giants we have on the contest,so sadly,even if it was one of my personal favorites,i have to deal with the fact that Europe will take them out for being different in the bunch,which is weird because their demographic are different too than any other television show. :/
Well, we saw the results of the contest. Nothing ethnic or even in their own language in the top four. Anyway, this song is beautiful and I'm really thankful with them for share their art with us.

This is one of the best performances i have ever seen, it was my first Eurovision and this song was just emotional, and i did not understand the language. No one will probably read this, as the song is deeply forgotten
I completely agree with you on this. This is 2nd place from 2018, just behind Higher Ground (Denmark). I really appreciated this one from the first time I heard it, and grew to love it. I think juries should have placed this much higher on the list, as it’s one of the most compositionally unique songs I think I’ve heard in Eurovision. 😀🎶🎶🎶

It's a little disappointing that voters in the second Semi-Final decided to reject this entry. Next year, Georgians will probably return to the familiar commercial pop/dance formula and keep the folk-oriented and traditional songs for themselves (whice is a shame, I think). Anyway, the guys did a good job on stage. The live (vocal) performance and song presentation were almost flawless. They represented their country with class and dignity.
WIZZ, Portugal's victory in 2017 gave people the impression that slow, folk-oriented songs (performed in a country's native language) with few "fireworks" (as Salvador Sobral put it) could acheive success in Eurovision. In 2018, the clear message from voters and professional juries alike was that such music doesn't belong in the competition. Generally speaking, upbeat pop songs and theatrical performances were rewarded, while "simple" ballads and traditional-sounding entries failed to reach the top 10 or (in Greece's and Georgia's case) even qualify for the Grand Final.

These kind of entries are the main reason I am invested in Eurovision, and seeing these flop nowadays definitely will mean that the only countries that still bring ethnic/folk-oriented songs to esc will go back to a more commerical, low-identity sound. I think at least the juries should have saved this for what it is, it's criminal they didn't. Serbia might be the only country left in a few years who will send ethic songs and get through, countries like Montenegro and Georgia are both either going back to what everyone is doing, or even on the point of withdrawing (in Montenegro's case). That just kind of saddens me. :(

This is still hands down how to perform at Eurovision. They not only delivered their intended sound from the studio version, they have rich voices which shine in live settings. I dearly loved their performance and being lucky enough to see last year, I remarked to their delegation how much I adored their music and that sort of music is why I love Eurovision.
This is the second time in the row in Eurovision when Georgia is so underrated. Do you remember one year ago amazing voice of Tamara Gachechiladze? She also didn't enter the final. That's why this competition is so weird for me. Love from Poland

Musically from a composition and vocal wise standpoint this was ahead of all entries this year. The fact that even the juries gave this no points, definitely proofs it's not a jury of "music experts" but more a jury that picks and choses what entries they think are the most catchy instead of musically the best written. I mean, it's not for everyone so the televoting score i can understand. But juries?? come on. This song was exceptional, only for its beautiful performance it should have qualified.
It makes me quite terrified of the future when it comes to more ethnic music, in this rate all of the actual charm esc has - with it's variety of cultural inspiration that it has - will be lost, since the countries who represented themselves the most in this aspect - Georgia and Montenegro - both didn't go through to the finals. Serbia at least gives me a bit of hope, but it's sad that (balkan) ethnic ballads are not appreciated like before anymore :(

You know a song is memorable when you haven't heard it in a while but still remember it. This is exactly how I feel with this song, it's a shame it didn't get the recognition it deserves, Georgia has so much good music sung in their language.
