When doing overlay, will the entire box always be clickable? I overlaid a keyboard and wanted only the "search" box to be clickable but I can't seem to remove the clickability of the rest of the overlay screen
I've made this and I wanted my popup item not clickable so it won't get back to the previous artboard. Don't get me wrong I wanted my background (the item behind my popup) to be clickable and go to previous artboard when tap. My problem is even the popup itself get triggered when tap even if I only set my background behind as the only trigger.
On the 'prototype' mode, just have your background connect the other artboard, and disconnect the clickable button, by clicking the connector, and dragging and dropping it outside of the artboard, and problem should be solved!
@@CreativityGarage What do you mean by just have your background connect the other artboard? Coz the goal of overlay is after you tap to the background or the "X" (close button) you should be able to get back to your previous artboard not on a specific page. My problem is when I'm on the overlay section, anywhere I tap it will go to the previous artboard. It should only be on the background but the other items on top of it became also the trigger.
Oh oh, I got what you're saying. Bro there is no direct way in which you can do that. Try one thing: Set a transparent rectangle in the background of your overlay. See if it works!
@@CreativityGarage my background is already 90% transparent. Yeah. I've noticed that when you set an object with the tap > previous artboard in prototype, whatever in front of it will be disregarded and will be a trigger. I guess the only solution is the background not having anything set and just put a close button. Thanks anyways.

My overlay behaves erratically, one minute it works, the next it opens on the page prior. Nothing is changed on the right menu.
Perhaps you’re missing a setting or two
