BLACKPINK have 4 members, Jennie, Rosé, Lisa, and Jisoo. All 4 of them can sing, dance, play instruments, and write their own songs. Jennie and Lisa (the one with the bangs) are also rappers. They don’t use green screen. Like ever. They have in one scene of one music video at the start of their career and was like ten seconds long. Every other set has been built :)
Kpop is different. You train in your company for years and years. So when and if you debut you first have to pay back your company. They trained anywhere from 4-6 years depending on the member. Blackpink has more success than any other female kpop group ever so they ever have more money and paid it back quicker. However one member had almost $1million stolen from her. The manager used it for gambling. YG has paid back some and the manager has to pay back the rest I think. Blonde has an Australian accent. Rose. Bangs rapper is Lisa. She is arguably the best female dancer period right now. Her dance videos are absurd. She’s Thai and was YG’s first non Korean signing. Lili films 1-4 are her dancing videos.
Their life stuff is their dopest stuff. They sing live. Rap live. Dance all through it. Live band. Their Coachella set, their pretty savage live on the late late show and their Tokyo dome stuff. Just a warning-in Tokyo and Japan as a whole their songs are the same but the lyrics are in Japanese and Lisa raps strictly in English. Jennie raps much of it in English but some in Japanese.
They’re all fluent in a minimum of 3 languages.

They were categorized as K-Pop (Korean Pop) but they are now leaning towards something closer to World Music as they use many different influences and are unique, even in the K-Pop genre. In 2019 they signed with Interscope/UMG for representation outside Asia, last year they dropped their first full album worldwide. They've already had collabs with Dua Lipa (UK)), Lady Gaga and Selena Gomez. In addition, last week they had a Livestream concert on RUclips and the biggest audience was from the U.S.. They all speak Korean, Japanese and English and Lisa, the "cereal killer", is Thai, she also speaks Thai and she learned Chinese last year because she was a Dance Mentor on a Chinese reality show, so she's got five languages under her belt.

They actually have three M/Vs with a billion + views with a fourth not far off - by the end of the year I expect at least six and maybe one hitting the 2 billion mark? BTW, the videos are for their domestic and regional viers, at least initially, with their DEBUT songs, Boombayah (1B+) and Whistle (a mere 720M) being extremely high production value right from the start - BTW, all their M/Vs have 'making of' videos that have background on the making of the videos and their 24/365 subchannel also has some additional footage in Ep' 1, 2 and 7 for HYLT and Ice Cream.
