In this video, we walk you through everything that is included in the box of the Pentair Suction Side Cleaner, The Rebel. This "Trade Grade" cleaner is one of the best suction side cleaners Pentair has to offer. It provides fantastic cleaning coverage using the suction side of your pool. This cleaner is in it to win the fight against challenging pool dirt and debris! Thanks to the Rebel’s powerful, compact design, it can move easily into and around tough spaces, like shallow pool bottoms, 90° floor-to-wall angles, and tight corners. So, it gets rid of debris other cleaners miss-all the way to the waterline.

Is there a recommended pool cleaner to address dust from wind storms or from long term nearby road construction? Would a recipicating pool cleaner (to slightly adjitate the dust off the bottom like the classic kreepy crawly) be more effective for dusty environments? Would a bristle brush cleaner type be better? Or would the cleaner reviewed in this video be sufficient? We don't have alot of leaf or other debris, dust is our biggest issue. I'd image in Arizona pools would experience dust from wind storms.

Hi there, we suggest that you backwash and clean your pool filter regularly as this can supply your cleaner with optimal cleaning performance and suction. Also, we would suggest purchasing a model designed specifically for the pool surface you currently have. Hope this helps!

@@ePoolSupply Good Advice. We have a irregular surface (pebbletec) where light particulate can accumulate. Yikes, backwashing the pool regularly? Ok.
Just trying to determine the best suction side cleaner that might be the best suited for this type of use case. We don't have leaves or other larger debris getting into the water. Is there any evidence or experience indicating that a recipicating suction cleaner like a Kreepy Krawly (or other brand) might float or agitate the particulate better in order to get into the throat of the cleaner?

Do you like these over the Hayward Aquanaut 200?

Hi there, here at ePoolSupply we would most certainly recommend Pentair products over their competitors. However, the Pentair Rebel is a trade grade item which means it is restricted to a brick and mortar sales only, cannot be purchased or sold online. But, Pentair does make a cleaner called the Warrior which is almost identical to the Rebel outside of the color schemes and a couple other minor details. Here is a link to it so you can check it out yourself, hope this helps.
