If you have had the MX8 Elite in the water for a long time and have to get a new cover, you have to try really hard to take the cover off, I thought I was going to break it. It will have so much stuff in between the gray parts you won't believe it, but it will come off.

Hi, question if you please Are the top gears ment to be a bit loose? With my pool, the top gears are small bit loose. i believe this is causing the gears to get caught in the run and Pause latch . This keeps my cleaning system to keep only two jets up all the time. Best to replace the hole gear kit? Thanks

This must be for an older upgrade? Pentair claims the new system is WiFi enabled (finally) so the 900mhz hardware shouldn't be needed right? It would be nice if your site had pricing information for this...

Curious if you've ever fixed the feed hose that attaches to the side of the pool and connects to the Kreepy Krauly? My hose broke and I'm trying to determine if I need to purchase a new hose, or if there is a fix?

Would this work as a 1hp single speed pump replacement that is used for some small waterfalls? The phone app would be nice to have without needing a full automation panel, as I already have the IF3 3hp for my main pump and it works great with my SWG and SS cleaner on the relay.

I have an IP address and the intellicenter is online with an excellent internet connection. When I try to create my account the system just spins and never connects to the Pentair Server. I have rebooted the unit as well as my wifi device with no luck. Any suggestions?!

Just picked up a 420 to replace my 20+ year-old Pentair cartridge filter that started developing a small crack in the lower section this past summer. After 2 attempts to repair that leak with some super-duper epoxy it started leaking again. The crack is obviously expanding and busting the epoxy open. Bad idea I guess, but thought it was worth a try. Anyway, time for the new filter! Thanks for doing a really great video on this procedure - I really like your presentation compared to others I've watched on YT.

Thanks for posting this. Mine are side by side and I can't tell which is the sewer cleanout. I watch as a toilet or shower is used and you can see a flow from both sides but I can't tell the water direction. Can you use either drain or can you cause a backup if you use the wrong one?

I have the same pump as in the video. My problem is that the keyboard loses power. I hit it lightly with my fist and the screen turned on. Well, I replaced the keyboard thinking that was it. Now it keeps doing the same thing. I hit it again with my fist and it turns on again. Do you think it's that part that you took off the top of the pump that has an electronic fault? I need help. I would really appreciate it if you took a minute to answer me. Thank you very much.
