Kudos to Browne Amplifications for consistently pushing the boundaries of guitar pedal design! As a musician, I'm grateful for companies like Browne that continue to bring great quality products. Can't wait to get this gem and unleash its magic on stage, cheers.
Gotta say I love the look of the pedal ... and you were able to dial in some nice tones. Love the format and simplicity ... and your candid and clear reviews of the gear. Keep it up!
I only like tubescreamers in the context of metal🤟.....using them to boost and tighten the low end of a high gain amp with the usual set up of low gain + full volume on the pedal........
I had a love-hate relationship with tube screamer mini, and literally one day i loved it, the next day i hated it, then i loved it again, then hated again. One day it sounded muddy and bodyless, the other day it was perfect SRV and strat quacks. On the same amp and guitar and settings ofc, it was crazy, i don't really understand it :) This could be the one :)
Hello Sasha! 15k followers that's amazing :) Whatever the pedal you demo, I can recognise your touch. It's round, dynamic and powerful when it needs to be. I won't say that you sound the same on every demo because I can hear differences but still you prove that sound is in the fingers. Pedals are just a tool that we can use to help us reproduce the sound that we have in our head. However the basis of it all is the way we play, attack the strings, where we attack the strings. Lets see if this time around luck will be on my side and offer me this new tool! Veel succes!
I agree with you about TS type pedals. I love Browne Pedals, though. I own and use all of their other peds, and this is a great modded TS as you demonstrated. I just have not found a TS that I can appreciate. Even the bought brand new original Ibanez TS I got when they first came out.
I tend to like the tones others get from TS pedals, but I never tend to get them to work for me. Still intrigued to try different TS style pedals and this one sounds really nice with the right mods!
🤔 I see what you mean. I have the wampler triumph, ts copy but it has separate low, mid and high eq. I'm going to fiddle around with it some more. I definitely feel you on the scooped mids from amp and high volume low gain on pedal thing. Sounds awesome!
There’s nothing better than someone explaining their opinion with GREAT arguments. Well done, Sasha! For me, however, the little green box will always be legendary. ;)
I appreciate this video so much lol. For what it's worth I love the tone you were getting with it, but I'm a big fan of the screamer softness in general on single coils.
I have always felt the same way - I’m always dialling out mids until I have to put some back in a live mix - but have embraced the OE Halycon as it can do less obviously Screamerish things brilliantly. Haven’t played the Browne pedal yet, but I imagine the same might be true.
Interesting way of explaining how to get the most out of a TS without messing up your EQ too much. Never really thought of them that way, now I know in what scenarios they would work best and when to completely drop them. Thanks. :)
Dang, you always have such soulful and tasty playing! It's always fun to come on to your channel and watch you do a beautiful deep dive into your takes on gear or other musical things! I know a lot of the world is tough right now and a ton of guitar culture focuses on what we don’t have. I also know it could be easy for you to just make a channel that focuses on the negative or feeds into some kind of less than positive narrative, but I always love that you are so warm and inviting as a teacher and a gear reviewer here on the channel! A humble thank you for the way that you welcome people to love the gear and music though your inspiring and positive perspective! Thank you for the gifts you have given to the guitar community on RUclips and to all of us watching! Hope you're having a great day brother!
I like tube screamers especially with heavier tones and humbucker guitars. This one sounds like it does a great job but then again you can make a broom with twine sound good. Great content as always!
Sasha, man, you make that pedal sound soo good. I really want the Gritador on my board. Also, I really like your backing track. I'm going to check your Patreon out to get it. Best wishes.
I use my tubescreamer in certain occasions. If im playing a strat through a f style amp and i want that classic sound its awesome. But if im playing humbucking guitars,i rarely use one. I'd love to try this one tho!
I always come back to tubescreamers when i play with my band. They just cut through the mix easy At home i use the protein. So yeah i think this pedal would be an excellent come play with the band device 😊
Never tried a tube screamer, actually I only play Tele clean through a Fender reverb amp. Maybe time for me to try some tech to spice up my blues tone.
I have the same issue with TS-style pedals, can't really connect. However, I would, er, grit my teeth and give this one a go. Browne really know how to make quality stuff!
I love your videos, your guitar playing magic and I still love Browne Amplification especially the Protein. I know the problem with the original tubescreamer. But by the time there are many wonderful definitions of the original. In my opinion, the Gritador sound great and I can‘t wait to have one on my own.
I would love to try this pedal! I don’t own a tube screamer or have much experience with them-so it would be great to start with one by Browne Amplification!
I too have never gotten on with Tube Screamers...I think the relationship with the amp has something to do with it. That being said this does sound good and as my music genres are changing I think I need to try again!
You should try the MI Effects Super Blues Pro. It's based on a TS, but with controls which let you dial out the mid hump. It would be interesting to compare it to the Gritador.
Sasha, I’ve been following your channel for a while, I used not to be a fuzz lover, but after checking your videos, I fell in love with Fuzz Pedals, also this is a good Tube Screamer, keep going Sasha 🙌🏻
OMG - to be honest I thought you sounded amazing with jt on. Must be hard to feel what you do in the room but i’m sold on it. Fingers crossed for the competition!
I like the Tube Screamer because I like to play blues and rock. Also, I have found that you can never be happy with just one overdrive or distortion pedal 🙂 Keep on rockin !
Great video and playing as always. I’m not a big tube screamer fan but I probably could find a use for one if it was given to me. I like fuzz with my telecaster over distortion and overdrive but that’s just my preference. I’ve never tried a tube screamer and probably never will. Thanks
I have to say that this pedal sounds really good for me! I subscribed and I follow browneamplification ! I do appreciate the way you do your review, you play you explain what how why etc Thanks
THIS GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED!

Scammers active in the comments! Please note that only I will contact the winners!
Hi Sasha,
Maybe I missed the info, but when will you be decided about the winners? Do you have a timeline, to announce who won the pedal?
Thank you!
Geez, I love how you talk about how much you hate tube screamers while making the most beautiful guitar noises with a tube screamer. Entered giveaway!
Gotta say I love the look of the pedal ... and you were able to dial in some nice tones. Love the format and simplicity ... and your candid and clear reviews of the gear. Keep it up!
Like the extended bass on this one. Feel like they work really well in some amps and not as well in others.
I'm a fan of Browne Amplification, the pedal doesn't sound too honky for a TS pedal. Even though you don't prefer it, you made it sound sweet!
I only like tubescreamers in the context of metal🤟.....using them to boost and tighten the low end of a high gain amp with the usual set up of low gain + full volume on the pedal........

This could be the one :)
I love the look of the Browne pedal and this looks like a great introduction to the brand. Would be great to compare with JHS tube screamer as well.
This yellow looks awesome, and the playing sounds awesome. So, it’s awesome haha
i have a midscooped blackstar studio 6l6 so i might like it. i currently use a waza bluesdriver mostly as a boost and to tighten the lowend a bit.
Appreciate all you do for the guitar community and I have been a huge fan of Browne for the past 5 years!

Very nice review! I never encounter these problems as I run my highs a bit lower and I don't care if it gets slightly nasal. Helps you sit in the mix.
Thanks for the opportunity Sasha. One man's trash screamer is another man's treasure. Good luck to everyone!
I'm on and off about the TS circuit, I used one for a while. Moved to using the Klon KTR at the moment.
I agree with you Sasha about the tube screamer - I have about 6 versions. I don't use any of them - ever.
I agree with you about TS type pedals. I love Browne Pedals, though. I own and use all of their other peds, and this is a great modded TS as you demonstrated. I just have not found a TS that I can appreciate. Even the bought brand new original Ibanez TS I got when they first came out.

Sasha, just want to say thanks for being you, and thanks for the generosity!

I think they both sound great! A TS-style pedal with a Strat gets tones that have girth and clarity. I love it.
Thanks Sasha, you weren't too tough on the little Browne box, you heard some great remedies for some common problems.
Interesting way of explaining how to get the most out of a TS without messing up your EQ too much. Never really thought of them that way, now I know in what scenarios they would work best and when to completely drop them. Thanks. :)
Sounds pretty awesome in your hands as always Sasha! Love/hate relationship with TS pedals, but would love to give this one a try!
My TS works great to get a tight metal tone. But for the tones you are seeking, I totally agree with you! And winning the Gritador would be awesome!
I’ve never tried a TS style pedal, but I do have a Ryra Klone, so I guess they would be a great match for JM tones!
Everything from Browne Amplifications is amazing! Been dying to get one of these on my board. Love all your content, Sasha!
Love your style of playing and video! I wouldn’t hate the thought of trying this alongside the Protein! Thanks for hosting the giveaway.
When I found Nobels ODR, I never wanted to use TS any more, except tightening up a high gain amp.
Great demo and explanation about the Tube Screamer sounds, and potential pitfalls
Gotta say, great job demoing the pedal’s strengths and quality even though it’s not your cup of tea. Great playing and thanks for the honest take!
Tried a few TS type pedals and the lack of low end is what made them less fun for me. This one sounds like they've done something good there. Nice!

Never tried TS, only in HX stomp. Love the sound of SRV and Mayer, and that’s why want to try real one.
Browne sounds really good
Loved the solo on your T-style guitar: feeling and taste were there for sure.
Amazing pedal. I never had tube screamer but i tried it twice because of my friend. I love it actually
Even if you don't like them, you make this thing sound amazing!
Sounds good to my ears!!!! I love seeing different takes on the Tube Screamer. Great video as well.
I like tube screamers especially with heavier tones and humbucker guitars. This one sounds like it does a great job
but then again you can make a broom with twine sound good. Great content as always!
Hoping this will be the first tubescreamer that I bond with. Thanks for all you do Sasha!
I have had a TS9 since I was 12 years old. I’m 42 and I hate all overdrives, but I kept the tube screamer, so I guess that’s something.
Sasha, man, you make that pedal sound soo good. I really want the Gritador on my board. Also, I really like your backing track. I'm going to check your Patreon out to get it. Best wishes.
Sasha, you bring out the true blue in this toneful pedal !!
I use my tubescreamer in certain occasions. If im playing a strat through a f style amp and i want that classic sound its awesome. But if im playing humbucking guitars,i rarely use one. I'd love to try this one tho!

Never tried a tube screamer, actually I only play Tele clean through a Fender reverb amp. Maybe time for me to try some tech to spice up my blues tone.
I like them all, but in the right contexts! Always like your reviews!
Usually not a TS fan but Browne did a great job with this one.
I have the same issue with TS-style pedals, can't really connect. However, I would, er, grit my teeth and give this one a go. Browne really know how to make quality stuff!

TS pedals are aight. I use an EQD Plumes and it is good because it’s very versatile.
I like them when others play them, less so myself. Would like to try this one, though. Thanks!
Another great vid Sasha. Can see the pedals strengths shine through.
Great playing as usual and great sounding pedal 😁⚡
Fantastic playing! Thanks so much for the review and the giveaway!
I like the sound of a “tube screamer” into my little 15w Stage Right tube amp. Adds a nice punch!
I don't really care for TS style pedals but Browne finds a way to keep everyone happy when they make stuff.
Sasha - sounding great as always! ... and of course i need another pedal ... and free is always my favorite flavor!! 😁
What a beautiful sounding pedal, I’m a bit a TS lover, so fingers crossed! ❤️
Always such tasteful playing! You can make it sound great! Thanks!
I've always wanted a Browne pedal, I think this one sounds really good from your demo!
Sounds great! Will love to have one on my board!
You made this thing sound fucking great! I dug it man! The bridge tone was to die for!
Sweet!! I’m ready for mine
I would love to try this pedal! I don’t own a tube screamer or have much experience with them-so it would be great to start with one by Browne Amplification!
the only experience with tubescreamers i have is the ts mini. which sounds ok. that guitar and amp alone sounds very pleasing to my ears.
I too have never gotten on with Tube Screamers...I think the relationship with the amp has something to do with it. That being said this does sound good and as my music genres are changing I think I need to try again!
Sounds great! I like that Silktone amp.
You should try the MI Effects Super Blues Pro. It's based on a TS, but with controls which let you dial out the mid hump. It would be interesting to compare it to the Gritador.
Pedal sounds great 🤘you sound great too Sasha. Keep on Rockin’
You legend. Thanks for the giveaway Sasha. Keep up the amazing content brother!
I usually don't like tube screamers either, but wow! Great sounds!
I've never had a Tubescreamer type pedal, this sounded fantastic to me and now I'm thinking maybe I should try one. Love your channel!
Sasha, I’ve been following your channel for a while, I used not to be a fuzz lover, but after checking your videos, I fell in love with Fuzz Pedals, also this is a good Tube Screamer, keep going Sasha 🙌🏻
I quite partial to a modded TS style pedal, great discussion though and beautiful playing as always Sascha
Yeah! Browne amplification pedals are great!
I really like a tubescreamer into Marshall.
Would love to try this one.
Every pedal Browne makes is amazing. Even though I’m not a huge tube screamer user normally, the Gritador sounds fantastic.
Sounds great! Browne Amplification makes incredible stuff.
Yeah man! Sounding good. Browne is really doing a great job with this one.
I am also in the hater camp. I mainly play a black panel
fender amp. Would love to try this pedal though….might be in for a surprised
I've never had a browne pedal but heard great things about them, luckily I love tube screamers!
Sounds solid to me, great demo… especially for someone who doesn’t like tube screamers. Would look great next to my Browne Carbon
It’s 3 years that I play Guitar and I’m really curious of what a tube streamer can do to my sound, I hope to win this pedal.
However you rock!
Great channel, glad to have found it (regardless of the competition). Keep it up!
Very nice, I was love to see you compare it to the Origin Effects TS
This pedal is sick😍 Thanks for this opportunity and posting this kind of content.
Hmm im a frowny face eq guy so i do like that. My amps are not super mid heavy though
Sasha, you sound amazing even when its not your kinda thing, bro!!!!! Keep doing what you're doing, I enjoy you and Buddy Blues so damn much!!!!!
Buddy like Tube Screamers way more than I do tho!
Great video and playing as always. I’m not a big tube screamer fan but I probably could find a use for one if it was given to me. I like fuzz with my telecaster over distortion and overdrive but that’s just my preference. I’ve never tried a tube screamer and probably never will.
Thanks
Nice playing as always. I got the Protein recently and i love this Pedal so i'm very curious about the Gritador
Amazing tone as usual! Love it!
I have to say that this pedal sounds really good for me! I subscribed and I follow browneamplification !
I do appreciate the way you do your review, you play you explain what how why etc
Thanks
