But Cansi originated in Bacolod. Anyway I am an Ilonggo. All of my ancestors came from Iloilo in Jaro. My mother was born in Jaro and her parents, my dad was born in Negros but his parents were born in estancia, Iloilo. So i am pure Ilonggo. Haha. Daw nagutom ko ah. Haha.
Thanks for the comment @migovasquez. I also thought that Kansi is from Bacolod. Someone can correct me if I am wrong. What I was trying to say in my vlog, aside from the yummy heirloom dishes ( like Batchoy, Pancit Molo and KBL), Iloilo also has a lot of regional dishes like Kansi ( of Bacolod ), international and innovative dishes. All these types of dishes ( + culture etc. ) that are available in Iloilo City make our city a culinary destination in the Philippines.
Lapu lapu fish is so good. I wish I can feature and visit all the cool resto/eateries in Iloilo in one video but there are so many. Thanks for watching.
