Trump Hush Money Criminal Trial: Second gag order hearing ahead

Donald Trump’s hush money criminal trial will resume Thursday with a second hearing for Trump’s alleged gag order violations.
The former president was fined $9,000 on Tuesday for nine separate violations. Judge Juan Merchan said Trump violated an order regarding what he could say about the case, including talking about potential witnesses, jurors, and the judge's family.
The second hearing on Thursday will address four additional alleged gag order violations.

The hush money isn’t illegal. It was the reason behind it - to keep them quiet about the nature of their relationship(s) in order to prevent the American people being able to make informed decisions about him before the 2016 election. Essentially, actual election interference. That’s the crime and that crime is a felony. Not a “big” felony, but a felony, nonetheless.
