Thanks, the only thing I would do different now would be to put the mixer and IEM setup in a smaller rack and get different containers for the rest of the gear. Other than being a bit heavy it's really great for setting up a whole band anywhere.

I’m cringing every time I see the sub on the gravel and rocks. I always have an industrial rubber mat under my subs to keep them from getting scratched up cause my RCF’s aren’t cheap ( but neither are my qsc’s lol). They work like a charm and an inexpensive option to protect them from dings etc as well as when you don’t want to have them sitting in dirt or grass outside. Nice work though 😊

Great idea. I’ll look into those.

Hi. I really like your setup. Can you please make a video of how your equipment is set up inside that rack? What is that plate in the very bottom of the rack that has different connectors, like RJ45, Audio, power, etc? I know some of those plates, but they come with the RJ45 or XLR holes. how do you have the AC outlets fixed in them?

I will definitely make a video showing how I wired up the the system, stay tuned. For the plate, that was a custom one from the integrator I bought the stuff from. I wired a piece of extension cord to the back of the plugs and plugged the other ends into the furman power conditioner. I tried to set it up so that I would not have to open the back of the rack because everything is on the front

@@upliftaudio Thanks. I definitely would like to see how you made and connected that panel with those outlets. I like the idea that you don't have to open the back panel of the rack. Thanks.

I was just wondering how you use your Mackie HM-800 Headphone Amp connections from the rack. Do you use wireless headphones with them?

No, I use a 25' 1/4" TRS to XLR Male cable. If I need more length I can add any XLR cable to the end of it to extend it. That connects to an Elite Core Audio beltpack, then I use shure SE-215 IEMs. If you want to use wireless then you could get a Shure PSM-300 system, as an example, instead of the Mackie.

@@upliftaudio OK. So you run that 25' cable to each performer who wants to hear the mix and its pretty much wired. All members hear the same mix, right? because you are basically splitting 1 input to 8, correct? Thanks.

it is a wired system (much cheaper than wireless). No, it’s 8 stereo mixes. Each one is a separate mix and can be controlled by the musician via an app.
