Hey brother look to get new EV ZLX g2 15 for the 200 people capacity church. I like to hear your opinion. We don’t need sub we don’t use much base. 8 inch will be good for stage monitor for alter ? How this sounds compare to Yamaha DBR 15. I know Yamaha has better warranty. Please advise God bless
Yes! 8 inch is perfect as an option for stage monitors. As far as the sound comparison to Yamaha I think they are about the same. If you buy through Sweetwater you get a good warranty anyway. And the G2 15's are more than enough for your size church, I still recommend a subwoofer but either way you will be good to go. God bless you!

Thanks much. .. what we have is a passive Yamaha abt 18 yr old speaker. We are trying to replace. .. currently have external amp. Since DBR is powered. I guess plug straight to mixer or the external EQuilizer ? Which way is better? I also heard that yahama is known for their highs and mids. Don’t need much lows in our church it’s high celing. Also EV sounds good but it’s has more features that we not going to use. Yamaha warrenty is great as well. 🙏

Hello Bud I have a different question. I been researching about this. So we have a 150 -200 capacity church. I been thinking to get either QSC12.2 vs Yamaha DBR 15 speakers. So planing to put 2 on the front. In my understanding 90 degree spread is better than 75 the QSC. I love it hear your opinion. Please advise. God bless.
