I watched this a couple of times as a kid I only remeber like 1 or 2 images in my head it might be time to go back and revisit it.

I absolutely have fun with this one, though I remember it came out like a week before thanksgiving that year. Not the greatest but still wholesome and kind of in the simular vein to Goosebumps or Hocus Pocus (strong comparision).
Its weird that was the same year as Pirates, Finding Nemo, Freaky Friday and Brother Bear. I just remember this came out like the week before thanksgiving.

I remember when I was babysitting my little cousin Julian when he was 4. He wouldn't stay still no matter what I put on tv:Teletubbies, Star Vengers, Mazinger-Z(this caught his attention), etc. But still he wouldn't stay still. "O.K. you wanna see something awesome that'll blow your mind?" So I put on Faces Of Death and he was enthralled!😲 He didn't move until it was over but he stayed still.🤣 Later that night he had nightmares but he thought it was a blast.🤗

Cool review; I have never seen this one, seems like it could be a fun time considering Eddie Murphy and Jennifer Tilly are in it. Back when it came out, wish I brought my kids to this one.
Yes definitely check it out David. Jennifer Tilly was such a nice surprise in it.
Much darker than the new one, both in terms of themes and scares. I think it's a good gateway Horror movie for kids, it feels a lot less sanitized and more mature than the new movie.
Perfect gateway horror.
Another fun fact for ya, Rick Baker did the makeup effects on the zombies in the crypt
I forgot to mention....I loved the way the zombies looked in this. Makes complete sense.
I haven't seen the new one, but this, I remember dad bring it home from his work at Blockbuster. I liked it OK, certainly not a fav of mine, but didn't dislike it either. And yeah, it is a good one for Gateway Horror too, something to kinda introduce people into horror movies, because doesn't have some freaky moments, but not overly scary. But anyways, should get back to tonight's gaming session. Thank you, Lee, enjoyed the video.

The first and only time I went to Disney Land was in 2000 and my 2 favorite rides were Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion. Naturally, 2003 was a pretty exciting year to get both film adaptations. I saw Pirates and absolutely loved it. I remember Haunted Mansion coming out and being completely devastated that all the reviews (in the newspaper) were beyond terrible. In fact, they were so bad that I still haven't seen the movie 21 years later. I think I'll finally add this one to the watch list in October.

Alot of folks dislike the Eddie Murphy once. I saw it once and was entertained. I never really watched it again, but I recall liking it.

I think that's complete bs. They should be allowed to hide them, unless the scored is massively review bombed (meaning the "reviewers" didn't even watch the show).

I might’ve seen this movie in the past. I gotta give it a shot. I love love love Eddie Murphy !!!! One of my favorite comedians for sure( l love Beverly Hills cop movies, the nutty professor, 48 hrs, coming to America and even norbit 😂 I like that movie) I love how he likes to play multiple characters in one movie. I definitely gotta rewatch haunted house. By the way, I am still waiting for your review of Beverly Hills cop 4 !!!! I hope it’s your next video !!! I watched it and enjoyed it.

I've always enjoyed the movie
Haunted Mansion (2023) actually came out a year ago this month right after Barbenheimer. That movie felt lifeless, the cgi was atrocious, JLC and Jared Leto were wasted, and the film was too dark (literally) could barely see what was going on. The 2003 film was so much better with the humor, has charm, great use of practical effects, has some scary moments like the mausoleum sequence, and the story was decent with subtle messaging. I remember watching this film in theaters when I was a kid can't believe it's been 20 years already. It's definitely worthy of a purchase imo
Jared Leto in the new one was the most forgettable thing imaginable.

I honestly lost interest in both Toy Story and Shrek, and I love the first ones. I just want ST5 to be as badass as season 4.
I really did enjoy this movie and I seen it last year around October with my mom since I haven’t seen it for years now since I was very young back in my Childhood days and Jim Evers played by Eddie Murphy he did a great job as the main character in this movie and he was very good for this character role and he was so funny in this movie and he sure did cracked me up man big time bro and Sara Evers played by Marsha Thomason she did a great job as a side character in this movie and she as so awesome for this role and she did a very good job as this character too and she is so beautiful and gorgeous too and I like her as a actress now and Ramsley played by Terence Stamp he did a great job as the main villain in this movie and he was so good for this character role and he was very good for this film and Master Gracey played by Nathaniel Parker he did a good job as a side character villain in this movie and he was very good for this character role and he was awesome in this movie too and Mrs Coleman played by Rachael Harris she did a great job too as well and she was so awesome for this role but she was barley in this film tho but she still did a great job when she was on screen and she sure is so incredible sexy as hell bro and she is so gorgeous too and I’m a fan of her now love her to death Lee and finally Madame Leota played by Jennifer Tilly she did a great job but she was barley in this movie tho but she still did a good job when she was on screen though and she sure was so creepy as the globe ball in this movie too and can’t believe it’s been 21 years now since this movie came out now and last year it was the 20th Anniversary when this movie was released in theaters back then and that’s insane it’s been that many decades ago now and I was 8 years old when I saw this movie back in the days and I was in 3rd grade at the time and I sure do missed those good old classic days back then and time sure does flies in the movie world that’s for damn sure Lee brother and overall I’m gonna give The Haunted Mansion (2003) Original a 7.5/10 stars I really did enjoyed this movie but could of been little bit better if it was little bit creepy and scary too and have the movie be little bit longer too but that’s just me tho in my opinions and thoughts on this movie Drumdums brother

Definitely one of Eddie Murphy's weaker movies. But I've always enjoyed this movie.
I watched this movie for the first-time last summer, and I heard how bad it was for 20 years, but I was shocked that I really enjoyed it. 8/10 a fun little family movie and I really don't get the hate. The remake sucked a@@.
