I first watched your videos when you were in Vallarta a few months ago and I subscribed to your channel because I currently live in California and I’ve been here for most of my life but I was born in Guadalajara and I remember going to Vallarta when I was a lil kid so it was great watching dos gringos enjoying Vallarta as much as I did when I was a kid and not only that but showing the world how Mexico is not as bad as everyone says!!!! Now I have a 6 years old daughter and a couple of weeks ago we visited Vallarta and we have an amazing time, I had a chance to show my daughter how nice is Vallarta and she loved it as much as did when I was her age and yes there are beautiful beaches in Mexico but Vallarta is something special!!!! I would have love to get a chance to meet you guys while we were there....

I am planning a trip to Bucerías, just about 20 minutes from you, for día de los muertos for 10 days. You have really inspired me and set the record straight on security there. I have a friend who lives in Bucerías 6 months and Tucson the other 6 months. I am visiting her there. I haven't watched all your videos, but you speak the language extremely well. Can't thank you guys enough. Your videos have made us come to puerto vallarta and we love it so much. The culture is so different from what we're used to in England. Everyone is so friendly. The storm yesterday was amazing, we had a walk out in it and got drenched but came back with massive smiles on out faces (another one due tonight, might head to the pool). We head back on the 13th and I'm going to be do sad. We're even thinking of getting married here next year.... Where do I send the invites? 😉
Casa tradicional Cocina Mexicana they have the best flan. And also mi pueblito restaurante the view is beautiful they have entertainment every night and a buffet like no other soooo good 😊😊

Good list. We’ve been meaning to do that hike starting at Boca for a couple of years now and I think we’ll try to get it this December. For restaurants, our favorite is Hacienda San Angel, not only for the food, but also the view and the wonderful Mariachi show. We used to recommend Rhythms of the Night as our No.1 thing to do, but since they put the new show in, we’re not really suggesting it any more. A day trip to Las Caletas is probably the better option.

I enjoyed Islas murietas. On the way out we spotted a humpback whale which was really cool. Great weather left California was cold arrived in Vallarta to warm weather.

have you ever go up the river at Mismaloya towards Vallarta Zoo, couple of miles from there, there are some spots, with waterfalls, natural pools, I took a germay boy that came to visit us few years ago, and he and we had a blast with all the waterfalls, fresh cool water, it is a little crowded, but on weekdays it should be just fine. not where the movie was made, just few meters after the entrance to that spot DO not remember the name but you should find it

Add the Botanical Gardens to your list. It would be my number two after the malecon (with mirador, isla cuale and los murertos pier rounding out my top 5). The Gardens are gorgeous! We learned a lot about local plants during the free tour, the hacienda is spectacular (great cocktails and snacks), and the bus ride there and back is a hoot (or you can cab from centro for about $350 pesos each way).
Good tips on things to do in PV. I would suggest visiting the Vallarta Botanical Garden. You can get a bus in the Romantic Zone that stops at the gardens, bus information is on their website. The restaurant has really good food. The gardens and the restaurant are worth the trip.

We will definitely try your other recommendations, guer tacos first, then the jungle beach walk! Do you have a favorite airbnb in Sayulita. Whenever you have a chanse, on the other side of the bridge in nuevo vallarta theres this big Colonia called valle dorado, in there theres a place that sells the most amazing Shrimp burger you've ever tried, i would totally recommend if you could visit, Hamburguesas ROBIN its called...

i just love you two. you look like brother n sister here! i wish you would video some motels that are nice but not the popular names. still begging you to visit my inlaws bernabe and isabella ortiz carrillo. They can be found at the hotel los angeles i think its next to the federales....not sure. it is white with orange trim. i miss them with all my heart. the grandpa has never met his grandkids in person. my husband passed away suddenly there and he was laid to rest there and me n the kids never were able to even make it to his funeral. he was my best friend we were married since 1990 i miss him so very much we met in cancun i was on vacation and he worked at the hard rock there. oh my i rambled i just wish you could go to there place n give them a huge hug. they like all mexican blooded people have such huge hearts and compassion. love you two. sounds like you will be on to a new adventure can y wait. why have you never hit up the 5 of dec area...they have some great restaraunts, and their park have lots of things to do and why not the soccer field there..i dont think i have ever seen you do videos from there..
I think some American tourists need a top 10 list of things NOT to do when visiting P.V. ;) We've all seen our friends from home doing something that makes us feel embarrassed. ;)

The Vallarta Botanical Gardens is near the top, if not #1 or #2. Visiting the Inglesia, Sunday night dancing in Plaza las Armas, so many things to do!
