I can't think of another artist who could put out so much material (new releases, re-releases, the autobiography, Tantrums and Tiaras, Rocketman etc) and not come across as an egomaniacal jerk. But Elton loves the piano, loves to perform, loves to work, loves his fans, loves his family, loves his life and is a huge fanboy when it comes to other artists. If any of the other artists he admires put out all this stuff, he'd be first in line to buy it. Such an amazing man.
thank you Sir Elton John this jewelry box has his name he has real gems like the title ''i fall apart''1986 shoot down the moon''1985 his voice is just amazing with an intense sound of old vinyl records I know what to offer at Christmas
Great review. I only ordered Rarities triple LP, but after seeing the extensive gatefold layout of Deep cuts, I really would like to get it. Tell me where does the third LP fit into in the six panel Rarities gatefold?
I'd prefer the vinyl sets if I had to buy it, but I am not a big Elton fan. But the vinyl sets look nice. Back in the seventies I liked his albums Tumbleweed Connection, Goodbye Yellow Brickroad and Captain Fantastic. And I must admit when I first heard Crocodile Rock back in '72, I thought ........ Wow!!.
Extremely impressive boxset but $120 is a lot of money for somebody like me who is still in high school. Hopefully it’s not a limited edition because I plan to get it when I have some disposable income a few years from now
From which song to which song are Deep cuts? And from which song to which song are Rarities and from which song to which song are B-sides and from which song to which song is And this is me .... Thanks for answering ;D
The CD box set is amazing! Great box that I am still diving into!
Definitely adding to my X-mas wishlist! The 4LP deep cuts set looks great with these two gatefolds glued to a hard cover, love it.
The SDE would make a fab Xmas prezzie to give to someone...if I could afford it.
If Elton releases 'Deep Cuts' as a CD set, at some point, I am going to buy at least 3 copies!

Such a nice set
Elton really likes his vinyl box to stand out on your shelf
If boxes are as spectacular as this one, I could get used to watching unboxing videos.
Hey Paul, the video is still unlisted. If you make it public more people will have the chance to see it :)
Thank you. My error!
I ordered both sets.
