      Hi Juan,
      Thnx for the feedback.
      Yes, I’m familiar with Chris’ his work, and the guy has some good idea’s off course, but actually I got inspired from a picture on the web. Everybody gets inspired in some way by something or someone else, for sure. Maybe even Chris himself. Who is the first of doing something and share it on the net? Who knows :-) …
      My Batman is different (spear and base) and I’ve raised the bar for myself to add more details, because I’m a fan realism and perfectionist :-). Let’s say my Batman has my personal touch and is just how I want it to be.
      I also hope that even myself can inspire others to go ahead and do a makeover as an example. Personally, I would be proud if someone redid my makeover.
      The mean reason for me doing this, is off course: enjoy what you do, have fun and be proud of your hard work :-)
      Cheers

    Your custom is so similar to Cosplay Chris’ that I actually thought you’d just bought his from him by looking at the thumbnail. Turns out, you just flipped the hand for the spear. It would’ve been nicer if you came up with your own design.

    The Figure and base look great , and this is just constructive criticism but...that spear looks too cartoon-ish ; needs weathering on the steel , an LED in the Kryptonite ,and paint the Kryptonite a darker shade of green to offset the LED .

    Looks good man I enjoyed watching you working on the custom however is practically identical to the one made by Cosplay Chris (with the exception of the base and the technic for the spear cause he did it with other materials)....maybe another pose would have made it more interesting

    • @PropsN3D
      @PropsN3D  6 лет назад +3

      Hi Heli ... Thnx for the feedback... Yes I know about Chris' version of the Batman, and to be honest, it wasn't his version that inspired me. I saw a picture of another version, that I tried to do also and added my personal touch to is with the stuff I liked and wanted on my Batman. About the pose: you can't do much with actual figure and I've tried several other poses and tests, but they all came out less acceptably good enough. So yeah maybe all others and myself would/will go for the same pose in the end.
      I understand your comment ... But I just wanted to do my version of it ... and overall happy with the result.

      It's just the normal milliput you can find in local hardware stores. Just open Google and search for "milliput" ... It's a 2 component substants that you have to mix and you can sculpt an object or fill holes up. It cures overnight.
