How anyone thinks this is a joke is beyond me. It's genius. I wish it was standard across the spectrum from dating/courting to marriage. We should be allowed to dictate terms and sue each other for wasting time and violating comfort.

But those two words, 'mutual indemnification' are just so sexy to me. I'm a (old) student, and lover, of the English language and I love complex phrases like that. Like "fractal equation" or "dihedral angle". Complex and abstract words, and understanding their meanings and definitions well enough to know how to use them in conversation, have always turned me on.
We watched this in a lecture with the topic "partnerships" in social psychology. 😂
