- Feeling very happy and refreshed after washing my hair. Sometimes it seems like it going to take ages, and I can't be bothered but I always feel so thankful after it is done. Taking some time for some self-care really improves my mood. Very simple routine for my relaxed hair using minimal products.

You would think they as much as she uses their products. Aussie sponsor HER!
Thank you for the relaxed hair videos. I was relaxed and had healthy relaxed hair but I went natural. I stayed natural for over 3 years but did not love it like I loved my relaxed hair. So these videos are great for us wanting to maintain healthy relaxed hair.
Glad your back to loving you hair. I think it’s really important to enjoy your hair which ever way you choose to wear it x

Is Aussie shampoo good for an itch scalp??
My daughter just got her hair relaxed for the first time n it's itching a lot.
I dnt know if it was the relaxer or what...
Thank u.
New sub.😊😊
How long after did the relaxer did the itching begin? Is her scalp red or dry and flaky or oily and spongey - as these all have different causes. Also did she have her hair relaxed when it was dirty as it’s not great to relax with a fresh scalp?
@@FayDouglas the itch started ab 4 days after the relaxer. It's just dry, no flakes, no redness. Yes, it was dirty, I made sure she didn't wash it in like 3 weeks prior.
I was told to put some tea tree oil, but it hasn't helped.
Thank u for the response.
Relaxers do the same as a chemical exfoliant when the touch your scalp. That’s why your told to not wash your hair for weeks before, so that you have enough oils to protect your scalp from the relaxer. The itching is probably her scalp healing/ regenerating after being exfoliated (like a scab itches). Did they baste her scalp before the relaxer, some places use Vaseline as a barrier, if not I’d ask for that to be done next time as it might help. You can use any light oil on her scalp to help the itching. And it’s good to try and wait a while after the relaxer before washing again but after 8 or 9 days it would be ok to wash her hair, as that might also help soothe the itching. Perhaps do a pre wash treatment by using lots of oil on her scalp to really moisturise it. Hope she’s enjoy her hair ☺️
I am new to UK , where can I get a professional relax. No idea where to start
I go to 3thirty in shoreditch, would also recommend Elite hair lounge
Why do u used oil if u are going to wash your hair?. I am kind if new to your CHANNEL & an glue watching u 1 main reason is i am 12 years natural & want to relaxed my hair. But REALLY it is a big decision for ne as i have grown it out to back bra lenght & dont want to do DAMAGE to my hair. So i am watching the women who had maintained a nice length who has RELAXED hair to follow what they are doing& i like your channel. So that is why i am asking the question about the oil. Greeting from California to u in the UK.Grace to u & all.Gh.
Oil is good for sealing the hair cuticle, also for moisturising your hair. Some prefer to use oil as a deep conditioning treatment but personally I find that can weigh my hair down. Using the oil before washing prevents my hair being dry or brittle when I’m brushing it and manipulating it before washing. Also shampoo will strip and excess oil but isn’t meant to leave your hair too dry, having put some oil in a few hours before shampooing helps to guarantee that happens. It’s definitely a big decision to relax as truly everyone’s hair copes with it differently but also you have to consider your lifestyle. For instance, If you swim a lot in chlorine pools I wouldn’t recommend relaxing.
do you straighten every time you wash your hair?
Yes - I use hot tools every two weeks.
