I haven’t used Cholesterol since I’ve had a relaxer. I use to love how soft my hair was afterwards. I’m natural now and Idky I stopped using it. I’ll probably go pick up some after work today. It’s time to wash my hair tonight or tomorrow.

I have 4c natural hair and just purchased that cholesterol after watching someone else's length retention video. I mixed it with my shea moistures deep conditioner. My hair seems to break off and grow back at least 2 to 3 times a week. Hoping this helps with preventing that. I think I will try the egg next time I use it.

I did hun! I do the mask on dirty hair and honestly I don't ever smell any remnants of egg! I shampoo, then condition! I think this mask will help your hair sooo much! Be prepared for the softest hair everrrr 🤗

I’m on my way to longer hair again.. my hair had always been mid back until I turned 48. I had to cut off and start over had been natural for 10 years and went back to being relaxed last June.. the last year of being natural created havoc on my hair in the crown. I have been deep conditioning religiously every week and noticed a huge change in my hair and is back to growing.I had to change my products and regimen.. now I just air dry and go to the salon for my touch ups only. I keep up with my trims as well.. hopefully 2021 will produce more achieved results.! Thanks for sharing!

I bought a mini fan when I flat iron my hair. I get so hot and I sweat from my scalp. Your hair looks so good. I need to switch from my Titanium flat iron to ceramic.
I cut mine into a bob over the summer and after every trim I say I'm going to grow it out yet my bob keeps getting shorter, lol. I've always used Paul Mitchell hot off the press heat protectant cause I like the aerosol spray but I'm gonna have to try the Joico ironclad. Love your bob!!

Hey hun, I wait about a week to wash it after it's freshly relaxed (they always use too much product for me lol). But after that I wash it twice a month, every other week!
I used to use this QH conditioner, and it works MIRACLES! My hair was midway my back. People thought I was wearing a wig and always wanted to touch it (NO!), I would take my hands and part it so they're see that it was actually my hair! Well Long story short! My hair and teeth started breaking off. I started having dreams, not knowing @ the time that God was giving me signs. One day at work I was sitting and asking God, "What could be going on my conditioning days haven't changed. What is going on." Just as I got ready to go back to work, God showed me those dreams again! I asked, "God are you telling me to dig around my house (in the yard). That Sunday before church I started on the corner of my house and there I found a toothbrush. Definitely knew it wasn't mines. I got it up threw it in the trash (not knowing that it was supposed to be burned cause I've never anything about witchcraft, let alone know why someone would want to do it on me). I threw it away and the breaking stopped (but the damage was done). My hair though ... was going fast. I had about 20-30% hair loss (this bring tears to eyes! Ok lastly, (last year) there's a hedge bush in my front yard that I keep shaped up in about six round balls (beautiful). When I'm doing my lawn I spend a lot of time on this bush. One particular day I was down on my knees pulling grass from around the bottom of this bush (mind you at this time it had start looking dead in certain areas), as I was pulling and pruning back limbs, weeds, and branches. I noticed a soft spot of dirt very close to the roots. I start digging with my hand and saying Something's in there ... I finally reached it. And, there it was .. A COMB! The teeth in it had started breaking off, and some was completely broken out, and it was packed with that moss that grow on trees called the Old Man's Beard! I sat straight back on my butt! Take a pic send it to my sister! And, thanked God. I guess the person (my neighbor, who was watching! God don't HALF do nothing. He reveals individuals as well), planted the comb there because of the cutting and trimming. I've started my treatments with QH and the softness, and moisture yes is back. This is one of the best treatments anyone can use. I don't apologize for the long story bc someone else could be going through the same thing and not know why ....

Somethings never go out of style. My mom was using cholesterol (and that same brand) for years. Even though companies are coming up with new products all the time (sometimes costing so much money), it's funny how the old school economical products are recommended even by younger hairstylists.

I’m still loving the bob on you-so classy and chic! I’m in the process of transitioning to natural. I want to try it at least once in my adult life because I haven’t seen my natural texture since childhood lol. So I’ve been getting my hair braided until it reaches a length that I’m comfortable with, before cutting off the relaxer-not ready for the big chop😬 I will be taking my braids down over the weekend and trying this mask because it sounds like it would be great for moisturizing my two textures and lessening breakage. I used to use this QH conditioner, and it works MIRACLES! My hair was midway my back. People thought I was wearing a wig and always wanted to touch it (NO!), I would take my hands and part it so they're see that it was actually my hair!
Well Long story short! My hair and teeth started breaking off. I started having dreams, not knowing @ the time that God was giving me signs. One day at work I was sitting and asking God, "What could be going on my conditioning days haven't changed. What is going on."
Just as I got ready to go back to work, God showed me those dreams again! I asked, "God are you telling me to dig around my house (in the yard). That Sunday before church I started on the corner of my house and there I found a toothbrush. Definitely knew it wasn't mines. I got it up threw it in the trash (not knowing that it was supposed to be burned cause I've never anything about witchcraft, let alone know why someone would want to do it on me). I threw it away and the breaking stopped (but the damage was done). My hair though ... was going fast. I had about 20-30% hair loss (this bring tears to eyes!
Ok lastly, (last year) there's a hedge bush in my front yard that I keep shaped up in about six round balls (beautiful). When I'm doing my lawn I spend a lot of time on this bush. One particular day I was down on my knees pulling grass from around the bottom of this bush (mind you at this time it had start looking dead in certain areas), as I was pulling and pruning back limbs, weeds, and branches. I noticed a soft spot of dirt very close to the roots. I start digging with my hand and saying Something's in there ... I finally reached it. And, there it was .. A COMB! The teeth in it had started breaking off, and some was completely broken out, and it was packed with that moss that grow on trees called the Old Man's Beard! I sat straight back on my butt! Take a pic send it to my sister! And, thanked God. I guess the person (my neighbor, who was watching! God don't HALF do nothing. He reveals individuals as well), planted the comb there because of the cutting and trimming.
I've started my treatments with QH and the softness, and moisture yes is back. This is one of the best treatments anyone can use.

Oh, I mix the egg yolk to the conditioner. Mixing maynoise (hope I spelled it correctly), and egg yolk work well together for a deep conditioner.

Somethings never go out of style. My mom was using cholesterol (and that same brand) for years. Even though companies are coming up with new products all the time (sometimes costing so much money), it's funny how the old school economical products are recommended even by younger hairstylists.
Absolutely!! I love that so many of you ladies have loved and used this Cholesterol for years (some even decades)! It truly shows that sometimes newer and fancy is not better!! I haven't used cholesterol in ions! lol Clearly, I need to. My hair is not retaining moisture, so it's not as soft as it use to be, andddddd...it's breaking off. Healthy, soft and well moisturized hair takes work. Guess what??? I'm worth it❣😘 #SteppingUpMyManeGame

I’m still loving the bob on you-so classy and chic! I’m in the process of transitioning to natural. I want to try it at least once in my adult life because I haven’t seen my natural texture since childhood lol. So I’ve been getting my hair braided until it reaches a length that I’m comfortable with, before cutting off the relaxer-not ready for the big chop😬 I will be taking my braids down over the weekend and trying this mask because it sounds like it would be great for moisturizing my two textures and lessening breakage. @@KeikoBeauty my hair do not dry quick. I stay humid. It’s long and a lot. I tried different products. Don’t work. I have to blow dry it completely with a round brush. That works really good.

Thanks for the tip! Though I am not looking to grow my hair right now. I do, however, know that sulfate free shampoo is best! I believe this one is sulfate-free, but I may be wrong lol.
