    See ladies, THIS is what relaxed hair should look like. Keiko, you are the perfect representation, even if this video is old. Your hair in this video is super shiny, soft, silky, no visable frizz. And of course, you use PROFESSIONAL level products. That's what separates the amateurs from the pros.

      Tarnisher Mack Agreed! Hardly no YT videos on relaxed hair. I'm textlax. I have come across some textlax videos, but most of those, their hair texture is different from mine😔. I luv natural hair videos, but I need more in between. #thestruggle

    I love you hair sooooo much, it's so long, beautiful, shiny, & healthy !!!! After i had surgery last year, i was in & out of the hospital all that year ! Needless to say, my hair care regimen had to go on the backburner bc i was also a full-time student at the time. Combine that with all of the medicine my doctors were giving me, nearly all of my hair fell out ! I went from shoulder length to chin length in a very short period of time & my hair would not grow past that. I kept experimenting & working hard with my hair & finally found a regimen that works well for me !!!! My hair is back to my shoulders & it's still growing ! I'm so grateful for youtubers like you who have healthy relaxed hair. You give me hope !!! Also you are so beautiful !!!! Subscribed !! :)

      I know your frustration hun! My hair is still not where it was at this time last year and it's annoying sometimes lol. But keep up the good work, experimenting with different products and regimens, you will find something that works!!

    Your hair is sooooo beautiful. I cant wait to incorporate these items in my hair care routine. I got my 1st relaxer at 14, went natural from 18 - 24 and went back to relaxers. Im the same as you. I felt like my hair actually got thinner when i went natural. But im back with relaxed hair and i feel like i know nothing about maintaining my hair snd now its in bad shape. But i thank you for this video, i feel more confident in my hair care now

      I'm a natural straight and I wash and straighten every 3 or 4 weeks. my hair is waist length and no damage, my hair literally stays straight without retouches at all. I've been doing it for almost 2 years, but I'm thinking about wearing my hair in its natural state and straighten every 3 months for trimming

    I love salon products and have noticed a difference in my hair. I've always heard about the anti-snap I use the mask in that line but I might give that a try. You should check out the Paul Mitchell hot off the press it's a thermal/holding spray that's an aerosol, I love it. I have pureology on my list. Great video I'm definitely checking out some of these products. :)

    • @KeikoBeauty
      @KeikoBeauty  8 лет назад

      Yes anti-snap is really good! I had Paul Mitchell hot off the press, but I found it too drying. I just don't think much of his line works for me :(

    • @kalishajnz
      @kalishajnz 8 лет назад

      +KeikoBeauty Yeah I could see that, I don't flat iron often so maybe I never noticed. I'm definitely picking up the anti-snap though. :)

    I agree with "what's best for my lifestyle". I too am relaxed for that very reason. I work long hours, help my disabled mother, travel for ministry, etc etc. I DO NOT have all that time on my hands that naturals apparently have, spending 4+ hours on their hair. NOPE! I need my hair to be done in 45 minutes flat.

    Omg your hair is amazing. I relax my hair and i recently had a lot of breakage and had to cut about 5-6 inches. I have dry hair and was looking for something moisturizing for my hair. My sister is a hair dresser and when she cut my hair she used eufora hydrating shampoo and conditioner along with a thermal defense and my hair has life again. What I'd like to know is how you got you hair that long I want my length back? Thanks

    • @KeikoBeauty
      @KeikoBeauty  8 лет назад +2

      Oh wow, that's great you were able to get your hair back healthy again! Thank goodness for amazing products! I honestly didn't try to grow my hair, it just happened. I went natural in college and wore sew ins and it grew a lot. Then after I stopped wearing sew ins I just decided to take better care of my hair to maintain its health. I think if you continue doing what you're doing and getting trims (I'm bad at that and need one now) your hair will really grow! The first step is the health and you've got that covered it seems like!

    Your hair looks nice! Was going to purchase Joico K Pak the other day, but passed to purchase the Macadamia leave in conditioner. Couldn't get both, due to the fact the Macadamia is so expensive😩! TFS!
    Wishing you Wealth & Light Sis!

      Thank you! I love the Joico one, but have not tried the Macadamia because it is so expensive and I use a ton of deep conditioner lol. Hope you like it though :))

    I believe the negatives happen to relaxed and naturals. I have not watched a natural hair video were the person is putting down relaxers or vise versa. We all need a protein and moisture balance. We all need to just stop the foolishness! I wear my hair natural and I wear my hair straightened I watch all videos, you can always learn something from someone about caring for your hair.

      para1999 I agree with everything you said!! Healthy hair care is all we should be concerned with! I also watch natural and relaxed videos for the same reason as you 😊👍

    How long do you leave the deep conditioner on for?

    • @KeikoBeauty
      @KeikoBeauty  8 лет назад

      gemruby41 Usually like 3-5 minutes. I should probably leave it in for longer though!

    • @gemruby41
      @gemruby41 8 лет назад

      KeikoBeauty Sometimes 5 minutes is all it takes. I find that with higher end products, you don't have to leave it in for a long time to get results. You're doing a great job with your hair!

      Really? I hear they are supposed to be the best compared to ceramic. But I'm sure it all depends on your hair. If I get one I'll def keep my GHD just in case it ends up being a lost cause lol.

    Your hair looks amazing! I assumed your hair was freshly washed until you said you were on second week hair. How do you preserve your hair for that long? I try to push my wash days past a week but my scalp gets extremely itchy

    • @KeikoBeauty
      @KeikoBeauty  8 лет назад +2

      aanays Thank you! I use the scalp treatments I showed in the video, but my scalp doesn't get itchy really. I would say if yours does then try a scalp oil or go ahead and wash! I always listen to my body/hair and act accordingly. I only really stretch it out because I'm lazy lol.
