Fantastic video Ben ! Great informations.
You and your team are doing great work and your audience appreciate it!
Solid Gold content with valuable details!
windsurfing is alive, so many grommets
Great job! Enjoying these and impressed with what they're doing in Turkey.
Thanks!! Learning a lot when you talk gear with the racers!!
10:30 Interesting term, is it Italian?
Both English and Swedish is "knock wood".
Otmar Schleenvoigt (Hurricane fins) makes the best weedfins, so interview him :-). Or Lessacher (don’t know if the man is still alive).
Cool and very interesting video report! Regards from Bulgaria!
I got a few weed fins for South Padre Texas and summers in the Gorge. Works great. Slices through milfoil. 5-10cm+ with varying pitches (cant remember). One is has an "s" shape for my wave board. Turns on a dime and jams up wind. Maybe a little slower. One bummer thing with the larger weed fins is that the boom can hit it off the back of board and gets chewed up.
Weedfins are very common in the south of Sweden and Denmark I sail 90% of the time on weedfins you need almost 45degrees if there is a lot of weed.
Hurricane finns and Sonntag fins are the best fins. We use 36-38cm for the bigboard, 30-32cm for the medium board and 26-28cm for the smallbard.
@@hossor123 I do have a gasoil made on custom request. Sailing on weed fin can be frustrating when you want to rail the board and go upwind. Otherwise one gets use to it.
@@FrancoisTCS yes upwind and big sails and boards are a lot worse on a weedfin.. but a straight fins is unsailble in a jungle.
Super interesting, all of it!👍
So much intresting stuff you get there from the people 🤙 enjoed it Till the end!
Next time i’ll check my batten tension, reducing backhand pressure. Thanks for the tip😊
Great coverage Ben. Keep it up.
The @richterboys did a good job! Anton has the right attitude for winning ✌🏼How tall is this fella?! And than only 70 kg?!
Super good keep it coming.
No foil, no action😜 forever foil🎉
Alright from steady 25 knots on fin is awesome. Still i prefer more and more foil.
Weed fin are essential whenever there is weed around, otherwise, its a no go its like carrying a bowl of salad, you need at least 40° of rake
17:10 men vs boys, Ben ;-)
I don't know about weedfins, but we use jellyfish-fins. They rip!
A friend of a friend of mine knows a bit about fins for WEED. He should be out on parole soon so stay tuned. 😅

Super interesting.... But I've got a recurrent question from kids I'm training and you (Ben) and Jordy or even other riders and coach can bring answer. How tune gear to avoid front foot going out of the strap ?
You mean blasting at full power and your foot feels like the strap is too far forward and it's pulling backwards and out of the strap?
@@WindsurfingTV 100% exactly
@@WindsurfingTV yeah. blasting at full power.....🚀
I had this issue with one sail. Lowered the boom a bit.
@@oscarbrogren3458 yeah, it's an option. but most of the time it doesn't solve it at 100%. Here are the clue i had from tchating about that with other. More tension on the leech, base mast forward, boom lower. But what prorider are thinking about it?
Any Ezzy sails around? If not is there a reason to it?

You can’t snob other RUclipsrs…
snob?
@@WindsurfingTV just to clarify snob=“a person with an exaggerated respect for high social position or wealth who seeks to associate with social superiors and dislikes people or activities regarded as lower-class.” Teasing you because you just passed in front of Nils Bach while talking to another RUclipsr.😊. Was just a tease, great job as usual👌🏼👍🏼
@@FrancoisTCS ...ah ok.. well obviously I didn't see him. Ask Nils.. I saw him after we stopped filming and apologised!
Can’t wait for the van video from the yatch fitter!!
Maybe you should do a send in your own van videos Ben 😉 😂
@@Windsurfing-Steve I’m cool with that.. send them in!
