    Hey Enfig, I purchased your kit after watching this video a week or two ago. It showed up today and I was able to put everything in with no problems! I didn't even break a clip LOL. I really appreciate the detail and step by step process you show here, it helped my amateur ass a ton and I just wanted to say I truly appreciate your work. After swapping out the rear pods and dash speakers, this is exactly what my truck needed. Thank you!!

    Thank you!!! Bought the whole kit from you in December and did the install on my wife's 2-door 2023 - I was very close to buying a tailgate mounted sub before I even learned about the dummy amp and speaker, glad I found this option instead. This isn't window rattling bass by any means, but going from what was essentially zero bass to this was a huge improvement.

    Hey chris,Im going to watch t the video when im laid up in the hospital on monday. When you gwve me the car back there was no sign that you took it all apart. A real clean professional job. I need to play with the bass knob and the radio settings to find the right spot . I will say this the truck Soundsystem really has some depth to it. That sub made all the diffrence .im looking forward to our next project, changing over the rear pods from 4" to 6". . Im lucky to have found you. I will post an update when i have had time to play with it further. Regards Angelo ( anthony) lol

    So I watched the vid.Let me say you sir,are a genius.so many people are spending big money on tailgate mount subwoofer,or a big box tHat takes up trunk space. You found a way to put the woofer in without any sacrafice to space.Y our video was extremely thorough. Every potential problem and its solution was addressed.I must say i was glad to be your Guinea pig!. The safe was a ford safe from ford accessories ( outlet).the seatbacks were mabett.and my buddy did the research,the dummu amp and speaker had to be put in so when they did thr crash test it was closer to the vehicle weight of the test car. Thanks ,im very happy the way the finished product turned out .I will be reaching out soon for the rear pods. Angelo

    26:15 they install the dummy amp and sub for a very good reason. This allows for the line workers to follow the same assembly procedure no matter if the bronco has the option or not. It would require a line assembly change and that was too costly vs just installing a dummy part. Line workers time is very carefully allocated and choregraphed. A deviation in that is a big deal to a mfring line. Thats assuming there is also no tooling change. That would add 10x to the cost.

    Hey there, I have 22 wildtrak with premium b&o system. I am going to open the side panel to fix common woofer rattle issue in this week. While i already open the panel ,should I upgrade the sub only (kicker brand you recommended )or not? Does that work ? Or does it even worth to swap sub ? Without major modifications preferred including software wise. What will be your actual recommendation. Thank you in advance 😊

    I'm not sure about hanging cables vs resting cables on the amp. Cables end up touching the amp and heat rises. Probably best to let them hang or secure to the car body, but always below it.

    I am really close to pulling the trigger on this kit. My question is, the kit mentions that a wiring harness is included in the kit. But I also see the wiring harness sold separately. I have the non B/O system with the (real) functioning amp and sub from the factory. Will I need the additional 99.00 harness?

    • @Enfig

      The kit includes the harness. We sell the harness separately because some people find our video after they have purchased the amp and speakers. We give a package discount when everything is purchased from us.

      I cant answer that but you lose bass in any vehicle when the top is down. That's also an opinion depending on how much bass you need. I have a 13.5" sut with 600W going to it in my car so that's a different level. . If you have installed it please chime in with your opinion.

    I see is Ford attempting to do owners an option to add an amplifier and a subwoofer in the most effective way, given the lack of parts to have it included from the factory. The good news about this enclosure and a placeholder for the amplifier and an aftermarket speaker is that you don’t have to fabricate one from scratch. I have seen other videos where an included BNO sub-woofer had to be modified to accommodate an aftermarket speaker however, in this case, the aftermarket speaker fit the enclosure without modification.

    Isn't the stock harness too small for the sub? I thought this sub would require an 8 gauge wire for power.

    • @Enfig
      @Enfig 2 месяца назад

      Not at all. The amp can do 500W when used with a 1 ohm sub. That does require an 8ga wire. When used with the 4 ohm sub it's only at 150W and the factory wire is enough for that. The engineers at Ford put a fuse in the car to protect the factory amp power wire. If the amp was drawing more than that cable could handle the fuse would blow. And if the amp wasn't getting enough power it would go into protection. I'm overly cautious about everything I sell and I can guarantee the wire is fine. I've sold over 100 kits with no issues.

    What is the actual benefit of having the bass knob? Can you not just adjust the bass from the screen?
    I have 0 experience with car audio but if the amp is rated for 500 watts, and the sub is rated for 300, is the limitation only the factory power wires? Could you just run larger wires directly from the battery and get 300 watts out of the same setup?

    • @Enfig
      @Enfig 5 месяцев назад

      With extra bass you sometimes want to lower the bass on songs that are bass heavy. Also sometimes you want to blast your music and other times you want to listen with very little bass. Of is your'e listening to talk radio you don't want the bass hitting. The bass on the radio affects all the speakers. You might not want to lower the mid bass of the speakers. The bass knob is a volume knob for the sub only. The factory power wire cannot handle more power. I also have a feeling if you put too much power to the sub the plastic panel is going to rattle but do research and see if anyone else has done that upgrade. But more importantly ask if they listem to the bass at full volume or do they drive around with the bass knob at 1/2 way.

      Depends on what you want. But its sound much better than you would expect from a 6.75" speaker. If you are comparing it to a 12" sub hanging off your rear door with 500W going to it this is not what this is. But this is much better than OEM whiteout losing any trunk space.

    Ford put in a phony sub for crash test reasons. If it had an actual magnet and voice coil, it could have been a decent 6.75-inch sub. A 1998 Mercury Mountaineer had an 8-inch Mach subwoofer in an identical location probably around 100 to 150 watts. It bumps for a factory sub and can hear the bass even if all the windows are down at highway speed. Sure beats the new B&O system with its sorry little sub that would be great in a small car like a Chevrolet Cruze but, not fit for a topless 4X4 SUV.

    • @Enfig
