Zach I run a small operation and I rolled my truck with almost the exact same setup. Caps on the right & misc tools on the left. I wish I would have thought about the plywood slide. Thanks for sharing. Going to try that out myself. Dig the trailer too.
Great set up I also am a single owner operator going on two years since loosing my job due to the pandemic started my HVAC company in Cape town have not looked back but the equipment like you guys can get in the US is just out of reach where we are price wise
I have been watching your channel as well as some others in USA. I'm from Western Australia and a HVAC technician (retired). Of all of the tech's I watch on USA RUclips you are a big stand out amongst the rest with your workmanship and professionalism. I know that there is a big difference in training between the two countries, here it is a three year tafe college and on the job training (1 day a week training or 2 blocks of a week at tafe) the rest on the job then another 12 months on the job. On completing your apprenticeship you have to sit for your electrical license and refrigeration handling license to be fully qualified. I don't know what it is like over there but looking at some of the channels they wouldn't be able to lift a screwdriver here. Keep up the good work and glad to see you are doing a great job for the trade
Man I am so jealous of your setup! It looks really really nice man. You are a top tier tech! Proud of guys like you. Makes me strive harder in the trade. Thank you sir
Zack Congratulations on the new guy and the trailer is going to look sweet. My only suggestion is to add an inverter so your able to charge your batteries and if you ever need 115 VAC...
Congrats on the apprentice, I know how hard it's to have the first job and having someone experienced like you it'll make your apprentice's life a lot easier :)
Oh it’s the life of a helper, being overshadowed by tools and a truck. You’re never appreciated until you become a lead 😂😂 Good work guys love the videos!
Love the set up would recommend window taint and maybe alarm covering the the back canopy best of luck to the new Guy great to see young guy's getting into the trade
It’d be a dream to be an apprentice! I’m currently a sophomore in highschool and I go to a tech school half the day for hvac and getting opportunities like that is super hard to come by
Awesome to see you've brought someone into the trade. I have kinda the same setup, truck is mostly service and my enclosed trailer is for installs. It works for me, hope it works out good for you too
Awesome set up. I would go one step further and use a rubber strap to go over the metal bottles in the back of your truck. You definitely do not want them to turn into flying torpedoes if for some unknown reason you are involved in a fender bender. You have put a lot of time and effort in your business to succeed. "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure". Ben couldn't have said it any better. Keep up the great work!
Set is always changing inthe HVAC-R trade, the set up you have going there is going to be awesome, and you have a young man that wants to learn and so up for work that’s a win brother
You’re ahead of the curve. All those tools-need to start having Milwaukee mounts for secure mounting. Love your set up. Having the shopvac secure on that (or in a van) plywood….wouldn’t it be great if you could start mounting other peoples stuff to those mounts. Veto has to be cringing that you went to an M bag. Maybe a veto & Milwaukee joint venture Love your set up.
Hello, How would you calculate a mobile home split system with an inside down flow air handler 3 ton . No return . The Mobile home is 16X80 single wide with 8 vents total. The original duct is the rectangular sheet metal, and it is degrading. The mobile home is 1999 model . The local supply shops do not have the sheet metal available & I am considering using Flex duct & I am not sure what size or may I even use flex duct in replacing the sheet metal . Thank you
I would get an automotive alarm system with GPS tracking and interior motion sensor for your trailer . Looking good and what about interior lighting for the trailer
If you get in a accident with the truck, you have a couple of rockets with the tanks. The way you have secured them is a no go In my world. But congrats with the new truck/trailer. The young man has found the right place to learn about HVAC.
Interesting choice! I'm kinda surprised he'd want to be an HVAC tech instead of a male model, but people have their preferences. 😸 Everyone oughta have a handsome apprentice to help out and learn.
Hi what type of drawers do you have beneath the plywood? And what’s the Milwaukee tool kit that replaced your veto bag? I like your setup, I’m trying to get some ideas for my suv
I have so many hvac companies that arnt hiring or looking for apprentices. Its always minimum exp of bla bla bla. I have osha 10, epa 608 recently, im no stranger to hard work and im in school for hvac. Should i apply to those looking for people who are already experienced?
I'm guessing milwaukee doesn't make a press-tool? I've been considering getting one and like you I use milwaukee M18 gear. but seeing that your RLS takes Makita batteries casts doubt that I'll be able to find a milwaukee equivalent to it. that makes me sad :(
Please strap those cylinders tanks down to the wood, god forbid in case of an accident they will cut the driver's head off , or build a strong back rack .

I would make safety number one. Great list.

Your apprentice is a lucky man learning from one of the best I wish I was in his shoes right about now.
Great to see Zack you on top of things an the young man is greatful for the opportunity you gave him 🙏

Sweet looking truck and trailer. Always great to see more people getting into HVAC. We are continually looking for tech. Keep up the great work.

I just want to say a big 'Hell Yeah' to the the tool set up in the truck and trailer!!
Passing along the torch, nice!
100% support this style!
Congrats on the apprentice, I know how hard it's to have the first job and having someone experienced like you it'll make your apprentice's life a lot easier :)
That truck & trailer setup is 🔥🔥
This guy got a really great opportunity hard to find a great teacher/mentor
2 years and 2 trucks later we finally got our much anticipated truck tour. 😂
I'm also curious on what kind of sorcery kept that trash can upright on the curb lol
Oh it’s the life of a helper, being overshadowed by tools and a truck. You’re never appreciated until you become a lead 😂😂

What state are you in?
It’s super hard to find a apprentice that wants to learn/work. Find a good tech/company. If your in maryland hit me up!
@@mrpatter19888 what type of work do you do?

Glad to see that business is going good !! I hope this summer will be easy on you

“Vacuum pump here”
Idk why but that was really funny 😂😂
So Awsome to see you having an apprentice
The header was about your helper...but all i saw was your truck and trailer

Love the channel !! Got a whole navac tools !! I would recommend getting the bed slide system it works well and easy to pull out !!

Excited for more of this content
Never had a veto backpack. I love my packout back pack. I use small clear packouts to hook to back pack.
I would get an automotive alarm system with GPS tracking and interior motion sensor for your trailer . Looking good and what about interior lighting for the trailer
Amen to that, some bad guys broke into my coworkers truck and stole a lot of valuable tools
If you get in a accident with the truck, you have a couple of rockets with the tanks. The way you have secured them is a no go In my world.
But congrats with the new truck/trailer.
The young man has found the right place to learn about HVAC.
Got the same Milwaukee tote for daily use, great choice, even better with the carrying strap 🤙
Great setup ...Keep us posted on upgrades ... Thx for posting ...
Trevor won the lottery working with you. He doesn’t know it now but one day he’ll realize he lucked out.
Right?
I hope this is all has a security system integrated with the truck alarm?
Wow! You are well organized! Definitely it pays off to find tools & supplies quickly! Milwaukee should pay you for the advertising😃
Nice bro! Passing along the knowledge! 🔥
I don’t understand why you don’t buy a high top cargo van. Seems like your trying to reinvent something that’s already done.
Yo I cannot wait to start HVAC school and get into the Field I start June 20th lol man I am hyped
Keep us updated on your trailer I like getting ideas from others
I can’t wait to do the same one day 🙏
No advertising on the truck or trailer?
Interesting choice! I'm kinda surprised he'd want to be an HVAC tech instead of a male model, but people have their preferences. 😸 Everyone oughta have a handsome apprentice to help out and learn.
How about just getting a regular service van?
Can we get a video of both of you working lol kinda disappointed I didn't get to see him more although I love your truck setup
The prototype is always highly adjustable.
great work!
Hi what type of drawers do you have beneath the plywood? And what’s the Milwaukee tool kit that replaced your veto bag? I like your setup, I’m trying to get some ideas for my suv
Looks great, but dang what if you need your torch or some pvc fittings for a service call? Do you pull the trailer everywhere you go?
Looking good man! Thumbs UP! 👍
Looks tidy man! You must really hate vans though 😂
Hey man I just ran into your channel and have watched your videos since. Funny thing is my name is zack also and I’m an apprentice in hvac haha
Your apprentice is around the same age as I, I obviously assume… 21 been a resident installer sense high school. He’s in the right trade.
As a suggestion I would cross the trailer chains so that it is cradled in the event it ever disconnects from the ball.
Definitely a must. I always cross and twist so the chains don't drag.
You need a van and you'll never go back to a truck and trailer.
Nice setup there Zack, Milwaukee is making money off you, for sure. Good job Zack, Keep yourself positive.
Thank you for your videos
Grand Master Zack!
I worked out of a truck for years. Loved it. Until I bought my first van.
wouldnt you want things u get to the most more
accesible to u and keep it in the front?
When are the black fuel rebels going on the truck.😂 I love the set up it gave me a great idea for my trailer
Honest question 100% why do you run nitro?
I have so many hvac companies that arnt hiring or looking for apprentices. Its always minimum exp of bla bla bla. I have osha 10, epa 608 recently, im no stranger to hard work and im in school for hvac. Should i apply to those looking for people who are already experienced?
Of course apply, or even better talk to someone in person so they can here your drive. Don't be afraid to hear no.
Zack has turbo 200’s I love them, idk why people knock them, they are made in USA!
I'm guessing milwaukee doesn't make a press-tool? I've been considering getting one and like you I use milwaukee M18 gear. but seeing that your RLS takes Makita batteries casts doubt that I'll be able to find a milwaukee equivalent to it.
that makes me sad :(
Wow te admiro mucho tu trabajo amigo
Please strap those cylinders tanks down to the wood, god forbid in case of an accident they will cut the driver's head off , or build a strong back rack .
Now all you need is an inverter and mini split
Bro !! You need a van.
Nice video
Releasing the charge of a system into your shop vac is not considered deminimis to the EPA. 😉
I’m teaching my apprentice everything I know….
Proceeds to show us his truck and trailer for 16 minutes 😂😂😂
Love the vid
You have everything available in ur trailer and car. i wish me work with you.
Good
Did you stop working for that business that you talked about a while back?
Id like to work for you , if only I was living in Nashville
