    Hey Mandy! I'm experiencing my first proper Christmas season with regular sales between 7-20 per day and OMG the customer service aspect is intense: out-of-stock items, missing tracking numbers, late items, lost items, orders by mistake, Printify Live Chat marathons (+ a few personalized orders)🤯I spend all day troubleshooting. How do high-volume sellers even handle 40-100 daily sales without burnout? How do you take a day/weekend off or manage your shop when you get sick. Is it possible to make this sustainable and scale-able without becoming exhausting? Grateful for any advice❤

    • @SWEETUMS101

      I would also like to know how to handle the customer service side without stressing out about it. I only have about 4 sales per day and even with this small amount I feel anxious with every notification and as a small shop, how do you even begin to satisfy everyone without going broke and trying to avoid bad reviews? It’s definitely a struggle for me

      I am an unrelated business owner and I would say this would be the time to source out part time help.
      Hiring during peak seasons helps tremendously. Just leave aside a budget every month in preparation for the cost. At this point the business should be making enough to handle paying someone even for just a few months out of the year.
      For us it was the best decision we made. It's the best investment for your business and your health. A business can't flourish if you are not giving it your best. Hope this helps.

  • @Bekind95
    @Bekind95 9 месяцев назад

    Love this topic and so timely for me. Is "Family" a niche? It seems like it can go into so many subniches if I am understanding any of this correctly. Can Family niche go into any occasion like a family member's birthday, Christening, memorials, vacations, mom dog? And do you recommend putting your niche design on 2 or more products if it fits, like under the Family niche, a birthday gift for daughter that works on a shirt, but also on a mug and a tote bag as examples? I was thinking maybe 4 different products under the family niche. Does this make sense or is this way too broad, where I should pick "family vacations" as an example and do birthdays within the family vacation niche? I am obviously very confused but excited with the possibilities. I just worry that too many products may cause a customer to buy more than 1 item where different print providers are being used so the shipping might get costly. I am so new, I just don't know the answers to these questions yet. Thanks Mandy!

    Hi Mandy, I have a question about the tags, here I'm completely confused. Does it make sense to fill up the tags completely, example: Tag 1 sweatshirt crewneck shirt, Tag 2 highschool 1 grade teacher, or should each tag correspond to a search term example: sweatshirt for teacher? Thank you so much!

    • @SWEETUMS101
      @SWEETUMS101 8 месяцев назад

      Hi! I’ve found that a helpful way to learn how to use tags is to look at the tags of the bestsellers in your niche and find the ones that occur the most often. It would be more similar to your second example, like a phrase a buyer would look up like “teacher Christmas sweatshirt”. Hope this helps 💕

    HEy, 1 question, How can we further convert/upscale our niche specific shop to that kind of shop who is doing well in every aspect... Like some of those trendy and evergreen niches ?
    & how long it would take if a new etsy shop compete in saturated niche but with good designs/illustrations and other strategy.....
    and same for unsaturated niche Coz, wt do i think that they have lower search volume,,,

    Loved this video, Many! I have a Question. I am planning to start an Etsy store selling POD items on Etsy for the Hobby Niche. My goal is to create designs for 20 top hobbies in U.S.A. My question is Should I focus only on selling Apparel? I guess I saw one of your videos earlier wherein you mentioned that your most successful store is a general store selling apparel. So although there are no 1000+ POD items to sell on Etsy via Printify and other providers, I am leaning towards selling Apparel only on my Etsy shop because every successful creator on youtube that I see has found their success selling mostly only apparel like t-shirts,hoodies,sweatshirts etc. I would greatly appreciate your thoughts on this dilemme of mine which to sell multiple POD items for every 20 hobby sub-niche Or to stick only to selling apparel for hobbyists? thansk!

    • @studiomdesignsco
      @studiomdesignsco  9 месяцев назад

      Don’t start over! General stores with multiple niches are fine - but make sure you are targeting specific niches within your general shop. If your designs are general, leave them up but start targeting more specific customers as you create new listings.
      As you build, do it in stages with just a few researched niches at a time as you go so that you can get some data along the way. Regardless of how many niches you have, just make sure they’re researched and that there’s demand in them 😊
