Hi Mary, I love your van setup and videography. I hope we can all help you get up to 10k and shortly thereafter, 100k. Love your story and the hat you’re sharing with us. Much love and respect!
heat stroke vs heat exhaustion vs dehydration they're all related but remember in extreme heat, Even enough water may not save you. Direct sunlight in extreme heat situations is even more deadly. Some people have health issues or certain medical conditions so they need to be more cautious. All in all, be prepared, lots of water and electrolytes, know your limits and short walks in the vicinity of emergency help. I was in phoenix 115 temps and went to a small park, that heat was unbearable but what shocked me the most, people were hiking long trails with a bottle of water and direct sunlight when there was warnings everywhere. Thank you for making this video, really really helpful.
@nature10879 I've heard of heat trekkers. They hike in extreme heat even in Death Valley. But I agree with you, know your limits and be prepared. We should respect the signages as they are there for a reason. Direct sunlight is the worst for me, so I know to take cover in a shaded area every now and then. I also listen to my body when it needs rest, and it helped me a lot. Thank you for watching, and have a great day!
Finding a dead body could not have been good. Be careful from now we need to see you new videos and none finding you ok. Hope you have a cool and hydrated week.
👍
Nice
