I would just love to see an hoh comp midway through a season that has one question: who should become the next hoh? That would be the most insane drama ever. Everyone would be forced to show their cards. There is no hiding and no throwing this comp. they have to do this

I am absolutely shocked you have season 4 so low! Fantastic cast, great season, Jack was a great player, Robert was a fantastic villain, Jun+Allison teaming up was iconic.

Big Brother 11 is my all time favorite!!
Dan Gheesling equaling humor, evil, and sex made me lose it tbh. And in my opinion, #BB10 should have been number one. What a phenomenal season.

I m with Taran, I like BB16 a lot , one of few seasons that I rly coudn t stop watching the feeds- I remeber i was always on the edge coz I never knew when will Zach blow up his game...not to mention Derrick s gameplay on feeds was just perfection ...I was amazed how great he can emotionally manipulate ppl into basically rather risking their game then taking away food from his children ...

They were talking about S2 final 4 HOH comp. I seem to recall that after Nicole was DQ'ed, they offered a prize to Will and Monica if they let go. Will immediately hit the bell, and it ended up being a big jar of peanut butter from an earlier competition. I thought it was funny.

season 2 should be the introductory season it made the show mainstream and is considered the best by critics
in Canada there is a channel uploading a bunch of big brother seasons and season 2 cant be uploaded do to copyright issues so season 6 it is very loves it is all new and one of my favorite seasons

Season 4 actually had noteworthy moments throughout it from day 1 to day 82
Regarding Vanessa´s vote... I do think she was a little "bitter". I don´t necessarily think bitter is the right word, but... yeah. I think she was stunned, it happened so fast and suddenly she´s supposed to vote... I also think that a big thing that decided her vote was the fact that she felt like her and Jmac ran Steve´s game for him. I don´t believe Steve when he says he let her do that... at least not as much as he says he did, he is taking way too much credit for that, he didn´t really have much choice. Just like evicting Vanessa wasn´t really a big deal because it was basically his only option. He followed Vanessa around all summer and saw her epicness. Evicting her is a given. While Vanessa didn´t feel like she ran Liz´s game as much (she ran Julia´s, obviously) and I think that was something she thought about when she had to make a quick choice, after just being evicted. So, I think her vote was based on being evicted minutes before (more from being stunned than actually bitter) and from her subjective POV, Liz played a better game. I actually think Liz is underrated, I am in no way a fan of her and her speech was horrific. But seeing her on the feeds, yes, Liz´s gameplay is underrated. This totally became a novel. Sorry about that.
I think you are pretty much spot on here. While Steve certainly did speak better at the end I don't think anyone was really buying what he was saying, he got the votes as much because he was better liked by the jury than anything else. And if Vanessa were going by the same criteria I suspect that she actually liked, or felt closer to Liz on a friendship level than she did to Steve (not that she disliked Steve in any way)
very bitter..she never did look at steve as an equal in the game...in her eyes he was dismissable and disposable...

liz is definitely underrated and everyone's hatred for austin overshadows her gameplay. she wasn't stupid at all, and did very well in competitions and strategy post-jury. Since it's been so long and my dislike for Steve has kinda grown over time, I almost wish she won. Almost.

Big Brother 17 much lower than I'd put it but a pretty solid list. Big brother 15 is pretty high as well.
DevonGrove I had BB17 at 7. I thought it was a good season but there are some flaws. Also I thought that BB15 was good as well. BB15 is just overshadowed by the controversy that people want to overlook the gameplay and the entertainment that was involved.
+JJ95 I always have to defend BB15 from people. Yeah, I get that Andy was a rat and a few contestants were racist, but that's what made it entertaining! Aaryn and Amanda were people I loved to hate, and even rooted for at different parts of the game, and people like them made the season great
TheMurrmursonbottle I didn't find racism entertaining. I just defend that season because overall the cast was strategic, it had a lot of drama, and it was entertaining to watch. I don't think BB15 is the worst season and that season gets a bad rep because of the controversy.
I loved Big Brother 13. I found Rachel annoying her first season too. But loved her managing to stay and winning the second time around.

This is old I know but you have brought this up as early as this year multiple times as well. Brent, you are one of my favorites, but this one thing I constantly disagree with you on. Vanessa did make a deal with Liz and swore on Mel that Liz would have her vote. Liz also agreed to vote for Vanessa if she was in final 2. Yes she had deals and broke them with other people, but with Austin it was different. Austin betrayed her earlier in the game, and they made up but the paranoia was always there in the background that he could do something worse. He was still paranoid about her since when she almost back doored him. This paranoia built further on both sides when Austin got closer to JMAC towards the end. Liz never actively went against Vanessa and was the most loyal to her throughout the game. She even got rid of James for V when Liz wanted to get rid of John. Vanessa even promised to take Liz to final 2 and I believe she would. She said even before final 2 that she was still upset after Steve's betrayal and wouldn't take him. Also you forget Liz gave a really impressive plea in support of herself to Vanessa on the night before Austin's eviction. It really eliminated any chance Vanessa would ever go against Liz. I recommend everyone to watch it.// Also to this day Steve and his mom are upset with Vanessa and to this day do not talk to Vanessa. Steve's mom has openly expressed her thoughts on Vanessa repeatedly on twitter.

+Michael Keating God, BB16 was a season of unlikeable people and a dictatorship. Frankie and Christine I hated more than anybody from any season (except Joshuah from BB9), and the whole game was controlled by Derrick. B-O-R-I-N-G!
Big brother 1 tried to cash in on survivor but failed but they found a more successful formula and better cashin and better than survivor show with season 2

Lisa threw some copetetions while amy was up and front both won 2 competetions with one of them beig a random competition and Amy won a individual reward that week so I think that's why they evicted Amy

+Michael Keating 16 was probably the most boring season in terms of gameplay. There were only a few good characters in Derrick, Zach, and Frankie. The only smart woman in Amber was voted out because she didn't want to hook up with Caleb. It was horrible
Big brother 9 I feel like is hated just because it aired in the spring
I agree with the top 3 but I think 6 and 10 are way ahead of 7 in my opinion the two best players didn't make it to the top 2.

Big brother 13 is confusing
What I liked about BB13 is that only Rachel could pull off that kind of strategy and win. I don't think a Derrick can pull off what Rachel did.. and to this date, Rachel is the most recent female winner.

love ya guys but Brent you dont really have a right to be so harsh about vanessa's voting decision- you sound personally upset about it... we aren't in her shoes and her brain or what she was thinking. As far LJPs comment, yes she was stunned, wouldn't you be??
From any other person, I could maybe excuse it. She just lost half a million dollars on a guessing game. But VANESSA????? She's a professional gamer. She's been backstabbing people left and right. She just blindsided Austin a few days before. She **should have known better**. If you didn't know that Steve was the vastly superior player before, after you listened to the Q/A and the speeches, it was crystal clear. Liz basically said a bunch of 'word salad' about comps and alliances having a twin. Steve clearly delineated his strategy from START to FINISH. And he tore Liz to shreds. After that, any vote for Liz (other than from her twin or the guy in love with her who wants to help her spend the money) was atrocious. BUT, even THAT I could excuse given that she had only 5-10 minute turnaround time. OK? I could excuse that. I could UNDERSTAND that.
But to be blunt -- I WAS personally offended at Vanessa's REASONING for her vote, and you should be too!!!!! She said that since Steve knew everything about BB and Liz knew nothing, that Liz had far more exceeded her expectations. THAT IS NOT WHAT YOU ARE VOTING FOR. You are not voting for "most improved player". You are not voting on a grading "curve". She went off the reservation and voted on criteria that was STARKLY DIFFERENT than the criteria she would have expected from the jury HERSELF. As Jordan noted, if the jury used Vanessa's own reasoning, LIZ should have defeated VANESSA in the F2. After it was all over, Vanessa could have just owned the fact that she "probably got that one wrong". She was hurt, we get it. But she didn't do that. She doubled down on her comments and still contends that she voted for Liz because she was the more improved player (whatever) and she had a F2 deal with Liz (conveniently leaving out the F2 deal with Steve..."Students of Sound"...hello?!!!?!?). Her reasoning was ABSOLUTE hogwash, and you can still hear the fury in my voice about it. It was BS.
Yes, I expected her to be stunned, and if she said that the next day, then cool. But she didn't say that. She contends she wasn't stunned, she wasn't bitter. But I just want to scream at her "But YA ARE, Blanche....ya ARE!!!!" ;-)

Brent needs medication. He's really angry. Vanessa had a final two deal with Liz and Steve that is correct; however, she didn't promise Steve her vote if she were sent to jury nor did Steve promise her. She made a deal to vote for Liz and Liz for her should one of them end up in jury. There is a difference.
I took my medication the day we taped this, thank you. And you're right; I WAS really angry. It was a TERRIBLE vote. Vanessa's reasoning the day-after just sounded like BS, and everyone else on the panel agreed with me. She was voting for "most improved player", not the best player. And I'm annoyed at her bringing up her "deal" with Liz, because Vanessa BROKE DEALS LEFT AND RIGHT. Why is THIS deal any more enforceable than any OTHER deal that she chose not to abide by? It's horseshit, and she knows it. Now excuse me, my meds are calling. :-)

Season 6 was the ultimate BB season for me. The only one that I can rewatch multiple times.
I like 6 because it was a season of characters. And for me, characters are the most important thing in any kind of story.
Another thing that's important is the result. I tend to hate the people that most like. I hate Dr. Will, Evil Dick and Dan. Their winning ruined their seasons. If they would've been defeated then they would've been great seasons.
For season six, I was rooting for the friendship the whole time. The soverign six is just like the popular people. They were the beautiful people. Screw them. Nerd herd rules!
BB 15 almost made me not want to watch Big Brother anymore. It was horrible for me. The amount of racism in it was ridiculous. Some people find shit like that comical but not me. So for me, that was the worst season. I'm not a feed watcher so I had never seen anything like that on Big Brother. I was disgusted.

wadi gaji It really is, it kinda tells you a lot about them in some ways because that season was absolutely horrible.
+Marley Mal indeed. BB15 single-handedly jeopardized the future of Big Brother ,to which this panel, and drama queens alike, is completely oblivious.
If you take a subjective approach which is weigh the BBUSA seasons on which one had the best cast, the best competitions, was most entertaining any number of seasons could rank in the top. However taking the Objective approach and looking at facts, which is viewership numbers, and network ratings surprisingly BB1 is the highest viewed with an average viewership of 9 million per episode and had the highest ratings. Therefore from a television and audience standpoint BB1 is the most successful and best season of BBUSA. None of the other 16 seasons come close to the numbers BB1 posted. Popular season BB2 with Dr Wil and Boogie is actually one of the average seasons with a viewership of 7.4 million per episodes and the last few seasons Big Brother 14-16 have been lucky to average 6 million viewers. And for the panel and others ranking BB1 the lowest does that mean you do not like the International Big Brother Format? The format that 90% of the countries use. With the exception of Big Brother US and Big Brother Canada all the other nations use the actual Big Brother game format. Heck even Big Brother Quebec used the international system. Big Brother US 1 sucked not because of the style of show (which apparently the rest of the world seem to have no trouble getting to work) But the American Public who voted out all the entertaining characters and left duds in the house. Mark my words Had Tim from BB Australia and Nikki Grahame from BB UK been on Season 1 of Big Brother US the American public would have voted them out too and left boring Eddie in the house to win. The final 4 of that season was so boring it was like watching paint dry. But again that wasn't a fault of the format of the show but rather the American audience not understanding that perhaps you leave in the bigger characters
This format is muuuuuch better than the International Format. I'm gonna guess that the drop between views was because season 1 was so bad half of the people watching it wanted to never watch it again. The season was just so boring and useless compared to future ones
The reason season 1 had a much higher average than all of the other seasons is because reality tv was brand new in the states at the time there was no other tv show competing with Big Brother. Views alone does not tell you how popular the season really was
