  • We threw our baits behind the spillway of a trout hatchery... As growing fish die, they are disposed of here and MONSTERS are waiting to eat them.

    We have a spot in the fall near a dam where the sturgeon cone in like crazy and the biggest one I have brought in was about three feet but they get twice that size
    In the springtime in Lake Winnebago, Wisconsin they go into the rivers and spawn. Those are the really large ones...they get well over six feet regularly. They have a few weeks a year where if you get a chance you can spear them through the ice until a certain amount of them are speared and they shut down the season.

    • @wildlifefishingshow
      @wildlifefishingshow  3 месяца назад +1

      @mannygonzalez2136 viewer retention (watch time) increases significantly if the drag audibly screams or the spool visually spins in the opening eight or ten seconds of a video. Because the spools on these multiplier reels are practically impossible to see turning, I really need as much sound as possible to communicate "this is going to be a big fish!" In ten seconds or less.

      It's 100lb Power Pro in this video. To be clear, I do NOT like Power Pro, lol. I only used it here because it was all I could get before my flight. I currently have Suffix Performance Braid and Daiwa J-Braid on all my big reels. Much better line, those two.
