- Destiny 2 Season of the Wish - Toggle the First Pair of Switches in Exotic mission "Zero Hour" on Legend difficulty / Outbreak Refined I Quest Guide. Just a quick video showing where the first pair of switches are in Zero Hour. To note, you need to do this on legend difficulty. I showed this from a location that's unmissable, for people who might not have done the mission before. This is after the first combat sections, right where the jumping puzzles begin.

To note, you need to do this on legend difficulty. I showed this from a location that's unmissable, for people who might not have done the mission before. This is after the first combat sections, right where the jumping puzzles begin. You're also able to get the switches in either order. It's easier if you get the second one first and backtrack, as there's a 30 second timer between them.

Yeah the grate is up so u cant go down the shoot on normal which means u cant even do a solo run yet? So odd. I Tried twice and I cant get through the grate idk 🤷🏼♂️

Trying to doing this with the titan jumps sucks. Had to switch to my strand for the grapple during this part to get that third switch. I definitely wouldn’t have found these switches had it not been for your video! Thanks!

No you can't. Each person has to complete the two switches by themselves.

Have you seen the keypad in the big open area of the old tower? It spawns three plates to shoot in the correct order, then says "sequence accepted"?
That's a carry over for the Siva ship quest from when this was released originally
@@ExtraClicheaka Bungie straight up recycles their content to the point they forget to remove old things like this….. hell. You can find a D1 ghost collectible by glitching into the ground in the forgotten shore 🤦🏻♂️

@apcsox even though its really wishy washy in how its explained, the reprised mission is a simulation of past events. I say wishy washy because it stated guns from our past but we have the gun so you wouldnt need a simulation on how we stopped the heist when we have the physical copy. It being a simulation would explain why the traveler is still in the skybox, it wouldnt explain why there's brigs in play
Any news on the intrinsic upgrade? We got the 1st part of it done, but there seems to be another half to the puzzle before it gives you the upgrade.
Intrinsics are gated weekly like the whisper mission was. Each week there will be one unlock until you have unlocked all 4.
I must be missing something the 2nd switch, on the wall, it won't flip on after you flip the one in the alcove..
Make sure you have the quest step done
I can't interact with the second lever for some reason, or the one at the top of the shaft

Never done this, and for me the vent after the elevator is closed, what am i missing?
is this what you’ll have to do to get the rewind rounds roll on this?
This week seems to be rapid hit, next week is rewind rounds it looks like at least from the order of the perks in the crafting menu.
found the first set of secrets in the courtyard of the tower, activate terminal and shoot 3 signs that appear
Do you have to do the switches yourself-or can anyone in a fireteam do it and it counts towards your quest?
For interactable things like switches it should count for everyone in the fireteam
You have to do them yourself. When I completed them, my fireteam members didn't get the quest completion and each had to do it on their own as well. Everyone can do it in the same session though.

Hey, I found a puzzle in the plaza. Once you clear the first room of ads, grab a datapad from where Eva used to be. Then, in the plaza, there is a panel you can interact with. When you do, you get "temporary access granted" and you have to shoot 3 diamonds (with Outbreak, of course) in the order shown on the panel to make the SIVA logo. When that's done, it says "SEQUENCE ACCEPTED". Do you think that sets up the first vault puzzle?
It's for the Siva ship.whixh isn't released yet.

Do you need to also finish the quest to gain progression? Or can you turn the switches and then go back to orbit?
You have to complete legend difficulty after.
You can do the steps separately, yeah.
You can do one run for the swithces, then another run to finish the mission.

Was the vent not open for me because I was not on legendary difficulty? Because that was an issue I ran into that first event in the open area with the plane was not open.
It opens on any level, as you need to open the silo hatch to be able to jump into that wall ladder, but you only get the intrinsic on Legend difficulty.
Do you need to do complete the quest normally first? Tried doing it on legend right away and the levers arent active.

You need to get the gun first and then progress the quest that you get. For the quest step just run through the exodus garden lost sector on cosmodrome or something. Then the levers will be active

bro i load the mission on legend difficulty and get to the exact lever you are at and i cannot activate it. it does NOT give me a prompt to activate the switch, i dont understand what is going on, ive watched several different videos along with trying this bullshit 12 times how tf do you get the prompt to activate the switch
u need to complete the full mission on normal with the quest from ada-1 to proceed to the next step in legend.
is this first vent opening NOT there on "Normal"?
The route is completely different on Legend and can't be accessed on Normal difficulty.
Man, I did this solo earlier and it all worked. This morning I took two friends in, but the two timed switches wouldn’t throw. I don’t get it, why won’t they switch like normal?
I figured it out. Neither of them had completed their cosmodrome kills, so the “flip switch” quest wasn’t active for them (or for me, because I’d already completed it). Therefore, no switch flip option.
what’s the recommended loadout for zero hour? i haven’t done it since the original (just completed the regular one with a friend for the craftable outbreak) and i’m wondering if hard light is still viable

Don't know if you've done it now, I use Mountain Top, Risk Runner (for the first 2 combat sections) then I switch to Polaris Lance for the rest of the mission. Heavy I use Apex Predator rocket launcher. That's on my Hunter with Celestial Nighthawk Marksman Golden Gun.
You could switch to Hardlight after beating the final boss to get rid of any lingering shanks.
i gotcha! for the legend i completed i used mountaintop/hard light and it was pretty alright. heavy is edge transit for me, and i’m void hunter.
i just came back after a few years so i’m kinda out of the loop of new metas, so can i ask why polaris lance?
@@bansheesimp great for range, it staggers enemies and also does a lot of damage to the servitors in the boss room. Just burns everything.
Edit: plus you never need to reload with constant crit hits
Graviton lance is great because it has good range and the perk for the second burst. It’ll take out multiple enemies which is definitely useful as the enemies usually stay in groups and multiple kills with this will release constant burst like a grenade. That’s good for a void build but just like the other guy said, Polaris lance and apex predator got me through this. Make sure to equip the mod to drop heavy on kills to take out the bosses quickly since this is timed, drop orbs of power for solar weapons to regen abilities and reduce solar damage as it’s a %25 increase to incoming solar damage. I think having a good build is definitely key.
Ok, ran it on legend with thr appropriate quest step. I jumped from the bridge to the first switch on the wall, hit activiate. Then jumped left the corner switch, hit activate. Back to first wall switch, activate. Then crossed to the far corner, ran through the tunnel, made the jumps to the farthest switch. I let the 30 second timer run out (like the video) then ran back to the switch on the right side as soon as you enter the tunnel. Didnt work, what did i miss?
The sound cues are important, wait for it to make sure you actually activated them. Also, the intrinsic is only granted on Legend.

I wish you would’ve shows from start of the mission to the switches. I missed the switches and is forced to solo because I can’t find a group to run this with

I was able to complete the quest by my God, it was hard af trying to do it under 20 mins solo on legend and my light level is 1833. 😩 Don’t attempt if you’re under 1830. Itll be even harder as you’ll take more damage if not.

Anyone else having a hard time with the route on legend? I barely got to the vault and ran out of time...
I'm playing on ps5 and the mission keeps bugging out. Enemies will disappear and reappear, doors won't open even if you kill everything. It's a mess on legendary.

It's very possible. Just a royal pain in the ass and soloing it when it came out is the reason I loathe timed content in Destiny. Back then Normal and Legend had the same timer lmao.
