Just a quick video showing where all pairs of switches are in Zero Hour. To note, you need to do this on legend difficulty.

You can do all 3 of these switches in the one run, just make sure you have all 3 "Outbreak Refined" quests from Ada-1 up to the step with the switches.

You can do all 3 of these switches in the one run, just make sure you have all 3 "Outbreak Refined" quests from Ada-1 up to the step with the switches. These also have to be done on legend difficulty, as the quest states.

except the jump cut from 1st pair to 2nd pair isnt helpful at all

Pro tip:
For the second set, activate the switch right next to the vent before you hit the first switch. It'll make platforms appear, making it easier to cross the gap to the second switch.
I also suggest using the timer freeze glitch, since the last pair of switches can take a while to get properly.
last pair is pretty easy if u do the switch thats up high first then go back to the first switch

Of course, the final switch would be in the jumping puzzle smh
Use heat rises warlock, and if you pop one and kill all the vandals and the captain while airborne you have a good chunk of it left at the switches, and possibly another grenade available to get 15 seconds more, worked wonders to make the jumping easier
If you run out of time on the second switch have an ally shoot Salvation's Grip under you while you jump. Then you can crouch on the stasis crystal to go back through.
This is so much cooler than the Whisper mission, holy cow.
The hidden space between the tower is so detailed and vast I wish I could spend more time exploring the place!

btw you can do the switches in reverse so for third switch you can hit the one up top then just jump down and across to the other switch instead of having to rush jumping up to it.

I'd remembered to pick up the quest but forgot I had to do the first busywork step killing fallen in a strike, so the third switch didn't work for me. Very annoying.

For the 2nd set, is there 3 switches or just 2 switches to turn on?
Do you yourself have to switch them both? or can a fireteam member switch it aswell?
Still confused what the 4th catalyst will do. Maybe something in next season that will change the gun.
So there's a glitch that sometimes makes it so that only 1 person in a fireteam can activate the switch. You need to restart the activity for others to grab

3rd switch is also not working for me, not sure if you have to do all the previous switches in the mission
Make sure you picked up the quest from Ada-1
Yeah I did all the previous ones I even got the schematic in the caul for this week. But the switch at the jumping part wasn’t appearing

I did the quest hit the last switches. Says i domt have intrinsic. Went back can no longer hit switches. And the puzzle for the ship literally doesnt work
This happened to my clanmate, and it appeared that he hadn’t picked up each individual quest from Ada-1. So, make sure for each intrinsic, you’ve done all the other steps (i.e., killing Fallen in the Cosmodrome). For the puzzle to work, you have to activate the sequences every time by shooting 3 shapes in order with Outbreak.
Same thing for me, can change perks but can't change barrels/stocks/intrinsic
same issues.. i cant get the intrinsics for some reason.. i did the switches, i did the puzzles.. still no intrinsics

I hated the legendary Whisper and zero hour missions especially do to the time limits. Like seriously why change the entire layout for legendary, it halfway made no sense in my personal opinion. 😒
PS I hope they give us another way to get the catalyst cause never was able to fully beat legendary whisper nor zero hour due to time limit and unnecessary additional jumping puzzles
If you are on a warlock and struggling with the tight timing for the final pair of switches do them in reverse, start high and working back to the first switch

This missions is pain in my ass. ... Why ruin a good game with jumpy crap like this and the Whisper?
