How to beat this mode: Have alot of characters

it’s just dumb and disappointing, imagine rerolling for gruper in monolith defence, it’s not even hard it’s annoying, the teams you end up with are not even real teams and yes if you don’t have enought characters your cooked ( wtf is up with must have all 4 characters) imagine if hydro was there there is like only 3 4 stars characters in that element Barbara xingqiu Candice , and most people have only xingqiu build and rest are 5 stars you not ony need decent build characters but a lot of build characters and even if I don’t have problem with that people who are not playing since beginning are cooked again , and any f2p with not so much 5 stars. In my opinion this can’t be called endgame, even abyss is less luck and more skill dependent, and that is saying something. Plus what the fu*k is with elemental rasizm like this game is about reactions what’s the point of excluding half the reactions every month. Plus the audience of this bs of a endgame content just got halfed from people who can even 36 star abyss. Some people enjoy minmaxing that’s their main way of enjoying the game it was enought so far but now if they want to clear all endgame they can’t anymore and that’s why it sucks. Plus players build mostly for meta or characters they like and for this sh*t you need to pull even more and for characters you might not even like or that are not even that good like tf is that , that’s not even endgame that’s just a greasy greedy money grab with lowering abyss reset.
Imaginerium Theater is basically telling us to build all of our characters, and that includes the ones we dislike as well 😭
I would be ok with building all my characters but we don't get resources like that. It is crazy to me that the only real way to level up your characters are with the books that you get. Using them in-game gets you next to nothing in the way of experience.

I played for 3 months and I manage to sub optimal build lvl 80 11 characters. I built my furina and Clorinde newly pulled for only a week.
The game is for people who farmed weekly enough to build alot of characters, if you are new then you shouldn't care for it for now and only do Normal mode.
End game means endgame you arent meant to clear it if you are underlevelled or new.
@@yuusha2150 I'm happy for you but I said what I said. You should be able to level up characters if you using them in the game. I've been playing Genshin for a couple of months and I do have a handful of characters at level 80 or above. The element lock has locked out some of those units. It was merely an observation from my point of view. There is no need to look down on me from your high horse.

that's better than anything, i was forced to play a team of xiao, chevreuse, thoma, kuki (em build) in the 8th act, cuz i didn't strategize better and have no choice, but it's still a breeze

Managing your characters is part of the challenge
People that use the same 8 meta characters and leave the rest of their roster at lvl 20 will hate this mode
I personally felt this comment. I have my geo team built so its very powerful while everyone else is halfassed... as soon as i saw i wasn't able to use said team I knew i was screwed..

The only thing I didn't like about this new game mode is that you can't just continue with your act, you have to exit it and re-enter it

You have the ability to stop and reset the progress to the check point of Act 3 and 6.. You got the flower back too

When mihoyo said they didn't want to make new endgame like spiral abyss, they were serious 💀
While abyss rewards players who invest vertically, imaginarium theater rewards players who invest horizontally.
Yes, i didn't think they would thought that far for IT so player will invest horizontally.
What it means to be end game content is a review to what player have already experienced in game so far. Damage check like abyss, tam comps check like IT, and I hope they would make more of it. next time might be about world exploration mechanism like debuff of sheer cold, electro area, withering area or element buff based on the floor of the domain.
Even abyss is not mandatory to invest vertically as C0R0 characters are perfectly fine to use
@@tama2774This. You can also do horizontal investment for abyss. If you have every meta team available, you can handpick the right 2 teams to counter the current abyss.

Horizontal investment = Character Variety (as in having a varied Character roster, for hard mode you need 18 Characters so having a varied roster that fits the criteria is what is important in Theatre besides build)
Vertical Investment = Character Strength (Getting Constellations c1-c6, Signature weapons aka 5 star weapons or gacha exclusive weapons like Xiphos)
It solely depends on what you are trying to do. Theatre requires more Characters, Abyss requires your characters to be strong to beat the content.
What I hate about this mode is, we have to enter with exactly 4 units. So we can't save character for next round.
I love the aesthetics of this game mode, they could have just made a bunch of menus with reused arenas but everything is so unique and detailed

I find it funny and sad how they spend more resources to make unique animations, layout and even voice lines than improving the experience. Like, you cannot repeat friend support unit, you need to actually own the extra units (Sigewinne, Wrisley, ...). The buffs are kinda mid, and the most important it is not even challenging, it is just a unit check (how many characters you have build), if you have, it is easy, else, it is not.
You can get the special units from friends but yeah I agree
Tips invite character as much as you can and as soon as possible. So you can build your team more efficient
this is a great tip, i was wondering if it was better to bring them early or not.
Remember to slot in Traveler in case You need more characters, They basiclly act as wildcard that will fit into every Theatre run.
I somehow forgot about that! Gotta switch to anemo traveler so I can focus on leveling one character instead of two, to finally unlock hard difficulty

The limitations are annoying
I think this is much more in line with the spirit of gacha games. Every patch we keep getting more and more characters, yet we've never gotten any additional places to use them. As a result, an ever growing amount of characters just end up getting permanently benched. Now, there's finally an incentive to invest horizontally in your accounts and not just vertically. Hell it even makes characters that are normally in direct contention with each other actually valuable to own anyway. Like does it matter who's best out of Hu Tao, Yoimiya, or Arlecchino when you're gonna have to substitute them out for each other anyway? It's going to completely change how people look at pull value for the future of the game in general.
I think it's a lovely addition to the game which is more based on team building and game knowledge than just hyperinvesting and minmax a handful of characters and playing the same teams 24/7. I do think there are some things they can certainly improve upon though but the concept itself is nice and it's a good starting point. Definitely a lot more interesting than the HP sponge that Abyss has become at least. Bit rough for new players I guess but it is ultimately an endgame mode so it is what it is.

ps i dont think it was done well with the requirements even with the alleviations, clearly an attempt to make newer players roll more but most of your criticism is insane. i see why hoyo didnt want an extra endgame for genshin now while hsr already has 3
If the guy in the video is right and you don't need to complete the stages while getting the stars, then I doubt it will change how ppl look at meta and pull value, since you don't need to bother with the timer.

I'm a day 1 player and wish we just had the biweekly abyss back. I don't want to be element restricted on a large amount of characters that are further restricted when selecting them and be forced into characters that are only built on the mid level because I wasn't interested in them. Going back in after every act is repetitive and will get old fast. We barely get any more primogems and I don't understand why they couldn't have this as a new mode without limiting the abyss. All of the limitations are just here to get you to buy more characters which are already tiring to upgrade because rng really limits how effective your characters are. This update emphases the negatives of the game imo which are mitigated due to the freedom you have elsewhere.
Maybe I'll get used to it after I get more characters. I did invest more into hydro which isn't an option currently. Although when geo comes around I'm doomed because I only have zhongli built. The other thing is that it won't let you play if you have less than 4 characters with vigor...

@@FiereGaming I have 19 Characters that I'm at least satisfied with. 12 couldn't be chosen. Technically I did save up 135k primos, but that could be rationalised from the fact that I buy welkin. I did complete it in the end with the bonuses, but I did need to redo some missions a few times if I wanted the bonuses (which to be fair are cosmetic).
I could invest in more because they're all at least level 70, but artifact rng has been really poor. I've tried some out briefly but haven't been impressed to go all the way. For example I still need an hourglass for knaves artifact set and I've been farming since release. She's using gladiators and doing just fine, but the point it that it's been unsatisfactory to me. Maybe for Natlan it'll be better if I pull more, but honestly if there's a round with no pyro or water allowed, I have few options.
It's more that this mode feels annoying and we're essentially not rewarded for it. I can understand those that aren't day 1 or have taken breaks can be more frustrated. I get that in my case I've been a little picky over characters, but did they really have to cut away most of the characters I like? Did they really need to force me into choosing all 4 characters when I might want to save vigor?

It’s so bad. Just not fun and too much RNG. I ended up up with a team of characters I’d never used with little synergy and all with 15+ second skill cooldowns. Absolute rubbish.

oh my god i felt like such a dumbass when i got to act 7, realised i only had 2 built characters left to choose and was thinking oh! i’ll just swap artifacts with the built characters i cant use anymore, but no 😭😭 turns out you cant do that and have to have like 16 chars built from the get go

how do u get to act 7? can u just play the other modes like easy and normal over and over till the acts progress? i have only 16 char too but i thought u have to do hard mode (which needs 18 char to unlock) for act 7 and 8

The best thing about this new mode is how our active party is present in the room and we can interact with them, making it feel like they are actually there doing the battles with us, wish it was the case in Genshin during quests.

But medium difficulty is still pretty easy, all you need to do is to leave Arrlechino for the 2nd and 3rd floor, get some greatly built up char from your friends (like raiden c2) for 5th and maybe some other floor(as backup)+ use some bullshit team with Chlorinde in the first floor, you are pretty much guaranteed to win, the hard mode however is really hard, for no surprise🤷.
why would they add this without giving eny promos for it all they did was give back the premos they toke from abyss. ppl sould be mad about this. they couldent even give us 3 wishes so fucking stingy ...

The 2 thing I dislike about this game mode is that the trial version of the characters hit like a noodle and how random the other characters tend to show up
Tips can't save you from not having enough characters, and even if you did, are they good enough. Are they leveled, do all have artifacts?
id honestly rather play abyss than this shit. the 45 enemy monolith was so incredibly annoying with an arlecchino that dealt 10k damage per normal attack. Especially since all enemies were hilichurl shooters that spawned on the outer edge and dont move at all
Welp, here is why you should've chosen another trial, you pretty much got the worst case scenario. It makes sense only when you have Venti, or really high dps.

The "challenge" of this game mode is the character requirement not the gameplay. Gacha pusher masquerading as endgame content.
Even abyss is better 🔥 its so annoying that we need over 10 fulls builded characters for this. Who had this idea i hope its will be fired. 2:24 wow thanks for the useless option for solo players, not everyone got friends who ready to sacrifice their whole paycheck for a game
While you can use a friend's unit, you still need 12 of your own to be allowed to enter the character selection screen when you have access to the invite function, so you will at least need a level 70 ungeared placeholder character to do that.

@@reinhartnata47 yea, but if you don't have a good enough roster you won't be able to clear abyss 11/12 either. I mean i passed medium difficulty on my cousin's account easily, but he managed to pull for the most antisynergetic chars possible so even abyss 11 is not passable. So in this regard i think this new mode is easier for those who haven't managed to get good enough chars. Plus 70 lvl is pretty easy to upgrade and you can just use them as placeholders, and if you manage for example to get some meta char from your friends list (raiden c2) you can pretty much use Chlorinde on the first floor +giant chicken, Arrlechino on the other 2 floors + raiden c2 on the last ones. I mean you can't do like this in abyss, there you should have upgraded enough account. But anyway you still get most of the rewards (75%+-) on medium so it's pretty good.
When you finish this mode the characters in your MVP team will appear in the theater location and you can talk to them

This mode is a diaster. You can only play your favourite/ strongest characters for two rounds; elemental reactions should be the feature of genshim, limited characters broke elemental reactions; utterly unfriendly for new players, uncomfortable gaming experience for old players.
This mode is trash
Genshin is actually forcing us to spend many currency to build characters we don't even use, only for the sake of the Imaginarium Theater.
We’ll see how this goes but I don’t even bother with abyss floor 12 most of the times these days, the single pull isn’t worth the effort. Happy to be a very casual player these days.
To be honest I’m not fine waste time on this game mode...especially since I only log in to do dailies not to spend a 100 years building the gang of characters I have 😕

I didn't understand it the first time. I kept on fighting but when I reached the last battle in normal mode, I only had 3 characters left to use. Due to this I wasn't even allowed to fight the battle.... So annoying 🤬🤬

@@KZ-xt4hlI'm not a whale, but I did build a lot more characters than strictly necessary for abyss. Reminder that, unless you're trying to have a character in the top 1% of the Akasha website, usually a couple of weeks of farming artifacts for a specific unit will give you pieces that are not amazing but still good enough, especially if you have good support units.
On average, giving a character artifacts with the right main stats, set bonuses that are in the ballpark of being useful, and a few good substats is usually going to unlock like 80% of their power, and that can be achieved in a couple of weeks pretty consistently. After those couple of weeks, each increment in power is going to be exponentially more time consuming, to the point of often not being worth it.
Even as a f2p, I imagine you'll have a bunch of unbuilt characters in your roster. Pick one you kinda like, dedicate like one or two weeks to raising their levels and talents, if necessary, then a couple more weeks farming a workable set of artifacts (they don't have to be their BiS set, aim at good main stats and a few good substats before even looking at the set bonuses).
That level of investment is good enough for Imaginarium Theatre; in fact for some characters that's enough even for Abyss. I have horrible builds on half the characters I brought to IT, some I even mistakenly used the wrong weapon on (I had Stringless on Faruzan for crying out loud) and I had no trouble clearing with all 8 stars.

There's plenty of 4* characters in this game. Unless you're new, or have been incredibly unlucky, you should have enough 4*'s by now.
@@SunnyHikikOmori I have plenty of 4* characters, basically none of them are built, nor do I have the materials to build them right now (especialy with Artifact RNG being what it is).
@@IchigoShinagami you don't even need to give them good builds. Just slap on their preferred set with the most mediocre builds, and it'll be enough to clear.
The main focus is trying to get them all to level 70 so you can enter.
Trust me, they don't need good builds. You can get away with having 4 unbuilt characters to use as entry tickets. I literally had 4 characters with full LEVEL 0 ARTIFACTS.
Its so weird to have a game mode where you cannot even enter, if you dont have 18 characters, then you cannot get all the gems.
Because its end game mode?
You know all those primogems are like only 600+
And you can get all those primogems by Playing daily, Exploring the world, doing minigame events
And reach like 1000+ primos for free.
Imaginarium theatre is extremely overwhelming for new players, which in return makes the mode unplayable for them. Good job Hoyo

it's ok, took me awhile before i had my 36 abyss stars. you'll get there. the problem is, if they'll require cryo/geo characters, i'm cooked as well lol. never touch those characters. this game mode do give you a reason to pull though.
@@otakuwhat_if you manage to get to stage 7 you should try go for stage 8. the boss not that hard and you definitely can beat it with the trial characters. only tips i can give is just get the easier stage in the beginning and burnout the character that kinda useless in later part (wanderer&faruzan)

It's a nice new addition of endgame but god damn we need to get Alot more artifacts for each domain we do to actually gear them up and Alot more mora, exp books and talent etc.

They added the thing I hate the most about the Abyss and made it double. The friggin' time limits, I fuggin HATE time limits as a difficulty.
Well. Isn't that supposed to be one of the many things that incentivizes players ...to well ...build better characters? To finish it quicker in the time limit? I'm pretty sure HSR also has this,but in the form of turns. Wuthering Waves also has it (Yet I don't really know if tactical hologram can be considered...Endgame or not).

U think thats bad? I hate abyss because i only properly built 6 characters. And for abyss u require 8 but atleast they don't have to be level 90. U EXPECT ME TO HAVE 18 CHARACTERS OF 3 ELEMENTS ALL LEVEL 90 AND BUILT?!! BULLSHIT!! I don't have time to build so many characters, why should i when i have 6 characters that cam do the job well

@@Juffrou_ffoorie It's actually really simple! The main thing that sets these two modes apart is that Abyss requires you to bring your 2 best teams. ; Vertical Investment . But IT pretty much just checks if your account has a ton of characters decently built characters or not. Or in other words,if your account has been invested horizontally.
And besides! You don't NEED to have all your characters at Lv90 and of them maxed out.
Well I probably have no right to say this bc I haven't actually cleared IT yet lol,but I heard somebody managed to clear IT with just lv70 characters and them being decently built
Also. As you play the game longer,you'll eventually expand your roster and the game mode becomes much easier to clear with more built characters.
BUT if your main concern is time...Then don't worry. Go at your own pace,take your time and don't stress out on primogems and rewards. Because games are just games. Don't take them too seriously my bro!

As someone who plays the game for 6 months, this new endgame is quite a lot of pressure for me. I haven't even got the Normal diff unlocked because I invested most of my resources on the other elements, and I'm still at the state where I need to get actual decent artifacts for my characters.
I'm kinda in a dilemma now on whether I should spend most of my resources to build the remaining 7 characters to unlock the Hard diff, or just maybe unlock the Normal diff to get the remaining easy rewards then carry on farming artifacts as usual and forget the whole new endgame stuff happened lol.
The mandatory 4-man team is also strict, inflexible, really annoying when they pull a random move like that.
Endgame related note, I can 36* Abyss, I could probably get all the new endgame rewards, that is if I have the opportunity 😂.
I hope my remaining 200k Mora will guide me 🗿.
Yeah this mode was not made for newer players and thats the actual biggest flaw of it.
+jojo digital this gamemode wasnt made for newer player, its made for older players who have nothing to do in the game anymore meanwhile newer player have a ton of shit to do before touching the endgame. you shouldnt be surprised that an "endgame mode" is only playable for endgame players.
Normal mode is easy, for hard mode you can just grab someone's raiden c2 and you're good to go if play your cards right tho i think if you are only 6 month into the game, hard mode is not worth the effort for you. I mean i have a cousin that plays for much longer, but his chars are just ass, so medium mode is the only way.
NGL this new endgame mode is pretty fun. It tests your knowledge on team building too, which each characters can only be used twice for the entire run. But I would imagine that there might be some challenges for newbies or players who doesn't play various team comp in their account. Overall, I love this game mode so much!

Team building doesn't matter, the amount of characters you have does. Enemies are easy af for now, I was able to clear most of the acts with characters that doesn't work together well, heck often the 4th character wasn't even on the field once. F2P players who were raising their accs for a year and less aren't going to clear it, even if the usual abyss was easy for them. Good idea, bad execution.

Since I don’t spend money, I have nothing. As well as losing every 50/50 for the past 4 years. I don’t have artifact luck either.

Honestly, I thought you had to get all the stars and bonus pts to get the most value for your rewards. Turns out after playing hard mode, you just need completion.

It's really a great endgame mode because I liked the system. I get to pick buffs at the cost of some event currency. It's more fun since I can build goofy teams for this.

Use kazuva or xianyun + Diluc so that both will get dmg or you can use Alahatiam and electro applicator too make sure you will kill one vishap only then the other has less hp left

Save Arlecchino for Coppelius. Her self heal on burst lets you face tank everything. If you get low on HP, just restart rotation early.
Something i didn't understand is why was the time reducing so quickly, i had plenty time and then i was losing 8 constantly
i wish the special invitation characters also had trial version..
only one of them i can use is sigewinne.... otherwise fun mode!

Basically the only issue I have with this mode.
Bruh I can't enter the Imaginarium Theater because I don't have any level 60 or above characters yesterday I tried farming character materials just so I can level 60 my characters and play the freaking event I'm AR 45 and I haven't reached Inazuma and still stuck in the "We Will Be Reunited" quest so this is going to take a while for me
What you need to beat this mode always:-
Have 6 characters build of every single element and you're good to go. If not then get forked.
Also tf is up with guest characters its just their way to increase their rate up char sales but yea that's their main motive

I find this easier than Abyss 😂 bc the enemies are fairly HP-ed, also I like leveling characters when I try to friendship 10 them. I finished 8 stage but im still working on getting all the flowers
The game mode is inspired by the randomness of SU, inspired so much they randomized the character that u can use too. U dont need fully built characters to clear it, due the the enemies being squishier. And yet they find a new way to be annoying by randomizing the character you want to use, so you’ll have to settle with any character you have in your hands. Team comp is only needed if you want to min max the obtainable currency to buy more random characters and buffs, but you dont need team synergy to clear any floor. 8k dmg is already good enough to kill bosses in this game mode. Idk how others find this fun considering its just a restrictive version of the SU and divergent uni
What you listed as getting random characters is exactly what makes it fun for me. As soon as I put together one proper team, it wiped the floor with no effort. I mitigated the randomness by choosing an equal number of DPS/sub-DPS/Support characters and realized some characters can pull double duty.

@@reinhartnata47 After steadily 36-staring Abyss for 2 years, I had nothing to build for, so I'd randomly tick a character I liked up to 80 and give them some stuff to mess around with in domains for variety.
With this mode I actually have a reason to use the... I think 30+ characters at this point, that have been sitting around doing nothing instead of the usual 12 in main comps.
It changes up my gameplay and I'm no longer on auto-pilot, but actively thinking about swaps and rotations.
That's the gist of it.

I beat it with full rewards but the whole idea is TERRIBLE!
It's completely against the very idea of an "end game" in this game.
Abyss is the ONLY place where we get to really use our "builds", our carefully planned teams with synergy between character abilities, weapons, artifacts and rotations. We got to use that once every two weeks but now thanks to this new mode that utterly discards all our meticulously built builds, we can only use them once a month.
Also we wanted MORE end game content, more than once every two weeks. Well, nothing has changed in that regard either.
And the rewards? Yup, we can now get a little more than 100 primos...per month!
This is idiotic and ridiculous and shows just how out of touch the devs are.
P.S. At least the design is good. Especially the fighting arenas are lovely.
I beat the hard mode the very first time I was played the entire thing cause I thought it was just a regular event without items on half of my characters. Didnt realize this was an endgame content until I got all the 1.5k primos as rewards. I was like wtf since when did events gave this much??? lmaooo
You get 1.1k primos for clearing the event for the first time and a bit more than 600 per rotation. With the abyss rewards, thats a total of over 1400 primos compared to the previous 1200
meanwhile im here almost crying from pain bc im in ar58, 50+ characters, more than 12 characters w builds and i couldn't complete 😂

I’m still stuck on easy mode, does that mean I needa have more lvl 70+ characters? Or am I just doing sumn wrong? I feel like I’ve the easy mode around more than 10 times now…
Tip for this mode: you generally only need your main dps for the boss stages, so make sure to save 1 energy of them to use in boss stages.
It is usually better to keep the character with 1 energy instead of using all the energy. So for exemple, in my run my main damage dealers were wanderer, arlecchino and chlorinde, but to feel the roster i had character like xiao, cyno and yae miko. I chose to keep a good overload team to use in a boss room, so instead of using my beidou as a support and exaust her last energy, i just slaped cyno in there, even though it was a wanderer team. Why that? Because my cyno had 2 energy left and i didnt actually needed a full team to clear the stage.
So cyno was there sitting in the last slot and i never even swapped to him.
This mode is abbout smart team building, specially in the first 2 stages, you absolutely dont need your strongest characters, so use some placeholder characters just to save the important ones to the bosses
I really don't like how now that all the Hoyoverse games are being pushed into their launcher they have changed their Terms of Service... it's a scummy move >_

They took away one abyss for some weird reason as a cost. So now instead of 2 abyss per month, it's 1 abyss and 1 theatre. Hardly call it adding end game. More like exchanging end game....
it’s just dumb and disappointing, imagine rerolling for gruper in monolith defence, it’s not even hard it’s annoying, the teams you end up with are not even real teams and yes if you don’t have enought characters your cooked ( wtf is up with must have all 4 characters) imagine if hydro was there there is like only 3 4 stars characters in that element Barbara xingqiu Candice , and most people have only xingqiu build and rest are 5 stars you not ony need decent build characters but a lot of build characters and even if I don’t have problem with that people who are not playing since beginning are cooked again , and any f2p with not so much 5 stars. In my opinion this can’t be called endgame, even abyss is less luck and more skill dependent, and that is saying something. Plus what the fu*k is with elemental rasizm like this game is about reactions what’s the point of excluding half the reactions every month. Plus the audience of this bs of a endgame content just got halfed from people who can even 36 star abyss. Some people enjoy minmaxing that’s their main way of enjoying the game it was enought so far but now if they want to clear all endgame they can’t anymore and that’s why it sucks. Plus players build mostly for meta or characters they like and for this sh*t you need to pull even more and for characters you might not even like or that are not even that good like tf is that , that’s not even endgame that’s just a greasy greedy money grab with lowering abyss reset.

Variety is nice, but the rewards is so minimally improved it bummed me out. 220 more primos, yet 4.8 is currently scheduled to offer the lowest primos count in recent patches, even compared to last summer. Hoyo is making it look like we get more consistent primos, but reducing event rewards to compensate and maintain the usual greedy average.
The trial characters are so bad, even the Supports. Not liking this mode so far, especially because healers become so rare later in the run.
My Xiangling is so not built for this. I stopped leveling her at 70 or something and never used her.
I can feel this is the product of numerous battle events from past versions
Gacha Gamer forgot one very important tip. There are already 3 main DPS units in the main cast, since there are only 8 fights, you really just need 1 more main DPS character. So the last 11 characters should just be ALL Supports/off-field dps characters.
I like this mode, I had to use some teams with wack synergy in some stages lol, so I can still save the best characters for the last stage
i kinda enjoyed that part doing some weird teams i would normaly never do and somehow still clear stuff, either way cool way to use are long benched units :P

I am loving this new endgame as someone who has been playing since the start i have so many units built and barely used em, its quite fun making new wacky teams xD, heck wish we had an extra fun stage cuz couldnt even use all the built ones i got.

New endgame in a nutshell: you wanna play hard mode and get 600 primogems? But don't have enough characters? no problem, Swipe your mom's credit card and get more characters.

It works out well for horizontal investment since the level 70 req to use your characters is the same ascension you get your last free fate. Incentivizes getting those fates too!
