My god, he outdamages every single boss even on NG+7 but still died to Malenia's rot :)
He doesn't actually outdamage Malenia at Ng+7- she gets a ~2x damage bonus, which is slightly... unique. Look at that 16k waterfowl- he died to that, not the Scarlet Aeonia.
@@Count.Saruman that watarfowl didn't do 16k though, Radahn was already losing health due to the rot. Look at the first Waterfowl, she did like 6k

@@maxwilliams6199 We shall never know. We can still least say he genuinely seemed to care once. Not finding a way to heal her was why he lost faith in the Golden Order. Was she charmed? Who knows. Was he still planning to heal her or did he give up and saw her as another sacrifice at some point? Who knows. He certainly didn’t love her towards the end, since he cast away his capacity to feel love.

Considering that Miquella did implant the soul of Radahn into the corpse of Mohg to resurrect him, it's a cool detail that Consort Radahn is about half the size as Starscorge Radahn, but the same size as Mohg.
I was just having a convo with another commenter about why this radhan is smaller and that definitely makes sense size wise but he also looks younger
I'm pretty sure it's just because he's in a younger body, where his gigantism hadn't developed as much yet. Imo the young radahn is the one who promised himself to miquella, and starscourge Radahn is the one who now being an adult general refuses his still (literally) childish brother.

@@Toot7. He gets almost no additional damage either. It's below-curve which I find incredibly strange, as Malenia gets a completely out-of-curve 2-2.5x damage and Mohg gets a respectable 1.6x.

i mean, the guy rips the floor out. if a unit like that had the poise AND damage he represents...
Let's consider his is already kinda tricky for first run players, and really aggressive, so giving him hard buffs would be hard for his fight, but I do agree in that they do really dirty on him just because of that, even other bosses have better buffs.

The base game bosses complain that the game is too hard but really they just need to get some scadutree blessings.

And then there is Malenia who defeats Consort Radahn , arguably the hardest boss in Elden ring, like she is toying with my tarnished play through in her second form .

Melania's attack pattern is not difficult to learn.
She straifes right, straifts left, has a straight forward attack, and a quick forward combination attack.
Those 4 can be learned pretty well and parrying her becomes easy.

Its funny how in EVERY case Malenia gets priviledges nobody has.
She gets the most insane NG+ scalling of all of the bosses, meanwhile Maliketh is still weaker than average.
Her heal on hit and rot status, plus the sheer damage on waterfowl is just a death sentence for any boss matchup.

These DLC bosses really DON'T STOP ATTACKING lol. The Radahn fight was hilarious. Starscourge barely got a hit in and got full combo'ed during his recoveries.
That's one thing about the dlc. You never really have room the breath on alot of the bosses. The damage and aggression is amped up so high compared to the base game bosses they just don't have a chance.
@@blakeschroko7838 Agreed. This is the culmimation of everything FromSoft has ever made and the truest test of skill for their players. It baffles me when people say Malenia was easier or, god forbid, Orphan of Kos... while yes, at the time they probably found them harder and took longer to beat, but they're going into this DLC with all that knowledge and training.
Malenia had that bs waterfowl dance and lifesteal, plus her attacks hit like a truck... but she had a lot of downtime and rarely strung together comboes as much and as well as Rellana or Radahn. You still had time to breath and wait before downing a flask. In the DLC, there's little room for error.
I have seen the golems laser absolutely delete bosses...and that dude just ignores them

Can’t believe Base game new Radahn beats almost every one new game plus 7 scaling
And the only rrason he loses against the ONE boss who kills him does so with scarlet rot doing most of the work because its % based dot, making the fight considerably easier than any other method available in the game. In sheer dps values here, radahn slaps malenia without it.
That said, its kind of weird how malenia needs +7 values to match NG radahn, and that its not even close to a fair fight without the rot, because thats supposed to be a stalemate/draw in terms of lore power

I love that he jumped over Beast Clergyman’s first attack. Also how Maliketh never jumped on a pillar but every time I fight him the bastard spends like half the fight up there.
NG+7 gives like 30% buff so it doesn't really help much anyway since DLC bosses have much higher scalings. With Malenia, it all depends on her scarlet rot.

OK, this is false. It does not work like that. Some bosses like Starscourge Radahn have their health almost doubled. Damage on some bosses like Malenia and Mohg is greatly increased, but on others like Maliketh and Placidusax, it barely increases. It's not a consistent ~30% scaling at all.

I see so many comments ascribing cause of victory to ng+7 scaling for main game bosses. This is exactly why I want content creators to stop using ng+7 scaling and use the more relevant scaling pertaining to dlc, namely scadutree blessing. In radahn’s case, the endgame scadutree scaling should give 100% more dmg and 50% dmg resistance. Ng malenia with said blessing should have 66,502 hp, while her ng+7 version has only 47,250. So just know this blessing-less mg+7 scaling only SEEMS auspicious for base game bosses at first glance, but IS actually unfairly disadvantageous. Specifically Relevant scaling is worth more than generally relevant scaling. Eg. I would rather fight death rite bird ng+7 with sacred blade than ng dr bird with darkmoon greatsword

@@purehollow4460 the thing is not for her, she in just an example, the disadvantage is for the other bosses, specially Maliketh and some late game bosses, Malenia is optional so she logically will have higher NG bonuses.

@@Alpha24812 Radahn+Miquella was scaled for the player to atleast have +15 scadutree fragments which is way more than the NG+7 bonus. I believe even NG+0 Malenia would defeat Radahn+Miquella.

I guess lore wise it makes sense why he's the final boss, because to have access for dlc you need to kill radahn and mohg, so miquella could use radahn's soul and mohg's body to create this abomination, but it was still a lazy decision by from software to bring back one of the demigods from the base game and just put miquella on his back, and then make him a freaking final boss of the dlc

This boss have almost nothing new: his design is just radahn, but smaller and with legs, most of his combo's is just starscouge radahn's combos, but with ground eruptions and pillars of light, the move with five meteors is just a malenia's clone attack and he also has a literal air clone attack in his second phase not to he also has a famous starscouge meteor, some of his combo's end with mohg's blood slices, the stomp's is just a stomp from phase one Godfrey and even the fucking design with miquella on his back is just Godfrey and serosh again, literally the only new moves that they have is:miquella's pillars of light, light speed dashes and a miquella's grab attack when he literally steals your heart which is actually cool and if you can't handle my opinion on your favorite boss then you're a true doorknob in here
