Loadout tip, Dragon's Breath insta-kills the tanks for some reason. It seems like each leg ignites and it just insta pops in less than 3 seconds after the rocket hits even in Legend.
Does it really? I've had it softlock because of that

I just happened to have it on and we learned the same, it was amazing. Seconds.
I wondered what happened with this! It was hilarious 2 secs after the rocket hits they're dead. I figured my teammates must've been putting down insane damage somehow

never had the opportunity to experience this mission back in the day so I’m so happy they added it back to the game.
I completed it solo before it was sunset, it had a bug back then where everything took so much more damage from you that even white gear could complete it with spare time but that only stayed up for a week. That's how i got my emblem that i rocked throughout the pandemic cause it's literaly called Quarantine zone
@@Junakiba966 That’s because Bungie broke it and Whisper so the normal level cap was removed and you were experiencing what it was like to have your full power level applied to enemies.
I remember going through this with Risk Runner for Arc Resist, Bad Omens for damage, and Nameless Midnight for long range. Loadout could've been better, but that's what I had at the time. When Stasis was announced, I remember wanting to try trolling Trevor with a Crystal, but alas, sunsetting squashed that. Highly doubt Trevor would be stopped today, Bungie seems to have fixed alot of path finding bugs.
Yeah I can see why people like this mission it's real fun and trevor can be terrorfying

Think it's worth noting that the normal difficulty might be bugged right now. All the enemies have red swords next to their health bars which is only shown when they're around 20 power levels over you. So legend and normal might be the exact same right now lol

You only need to activate the switch that gives you the buff and the one that opens the silo door up above. After that the 3rd switch at the top will continue the quest
you dont need to finish it on legend? or the quest is good when you hit them all
@@cloud8ight you'll have to finish it on legend but don't need to hit every switch as he states
When Stasis was announced, I remember so badly wanting to try and break Trevor's pathing with a Crystal. Now that we got Strand as well, I can't wait to see how many OoBs are there.
Quick tip for puzzle paths ,
It seems to be the reverse of the old ones ,
Switch left and right
I standed across lol. I had to do it like half way but I survived with a pinch of health. Lol
FYI There is a rally banner before the boss, so run a movement based build and then just switch to your normal ad clear/boss dps at the end

Don't forget to mention the lever on the back wall after the floor puzzle. comes in clutch for those lagging behind.

There is a strange thingy where we used to go to do the flying in the tower(in destiny 1)...It's something like a code and you have to shoot different symbols with outbreak to get it idk what it is yet...
I think its for catalyst, and u need to do it every week. I still reember the time doing it with lfg is pain
There's a rally banner right before you jump down to the boss fight. I actually used it the first try and then forgot to hit it on each subsequent attempt, including when I finally beat it.
first time running it, just navigating this thing was a pain and a half
by the time I hit the oven room, I had 3 minutes left, and most of that was because I didn't know where the fuck I was going
Legend is ptsd inducing with all the jumping, switches, and time limit. I'm just not sure if the stress is worth it this time, regardless of it being craftable. Did the normal run a few times but legend .... nah.

My favorite exotic mission.
Outbreak normal solo was so frustrating at the end while re-learning the path after so long was fun and going theough trevor was smooth that boss area got me heated like everything is a bullet sponge with nonexistent cover amd you have to kill essentially 3 bosses with one set of ammo while praying for additional drops
I cleared the normal one silo on my titan with 2 seconds left in the mission lmao. Its no joke
BTW you can get the four corners, go to the "final" switch, then quickly run back and switch one the that fallout started the timer with.
Actually, activate switch to the left of the center wall switch, then go up silo to activate that switch, then run back down to activate center wall switch will get it. No need for all switches
Do we know yet if Nanite hits count towards Rewind Rounds? Remember hearing speculation about that but no one seemed to know for sure without testing.
Rewind rounds unlocks next week. No one knows yet

I don't know why, but sped up Sunshot is really funny for some reason.
Got my Pantheon week 3 done first try, then joined a random speedrun of this and beat it in 13 minutes. Started a speed run of legend and the internet cut out for the entire neighborhood 😭

Do you have to complete the legend run after the switches or does it count even if after no finish?
I now know everytime I ever did this mission I did the legend path. I DIDNT EVEN KNOW THERE WAS ANOTHER WTF
well kinda same. I remembered the legend path, which was a problem straight from the start as I had to go under the ship instead of into the vent.
Can you do the switches only and quit the mission? Or do you have to complete it?
I went into this blind and timed out, watching this guide makes me want to do it even less 😭 I'm not a pulse guy anyway 😤

dont know if you know this yet but you run it on normal to get the weapon, then you run it on legend (multiple times) to get the intrinsics and the catalyst..

yeah, Whisper mission is in the Into The Light node on the Destinations map

I'm glad they brought back the old jumping puzzles. This is what I remember the most from D2, the jumping puzzles for Whisper and Outbreak.
How do I add magazines and sight options? I did all three switches and got the 3 patterns

You don't have to hit all four, only the one to lift the door on silo 3. That switch is the opposite corner to the exit to the silo room.

I spent my last 8 minutes of my mission watching another video to realize i was infaxt NOT doing the legend mission

I dreaded this mission back in the day. It's more running than fighting and the stress of hitting all those ledges costing you precious minutes later.... fug that. I'm happy with my OG Prime.
There was an ideal rout for avoiding Trevor originally, damned if I can remember it though.

Yes. This mission introduced us to the House of Salvation
Some how some way the game bugged and gave me the second weeks catalyst ahead of time so I managed to get the first one and the second one in the same day so as it stands there's a small chance the mission will bug out and give you the next catalyst when it isnt supposed to the triumph still doesn't update since the game bugged for me it counted the first week catalyst quest but the second week catalyst quest you still have to do even if the mission bugs and gives the catalyst number 2
Before people as what does week 2 catalyst give I dont know even though I have it I have no idea what it gives
How do you know what the fire path is on legend? where do you find the puzzle solution in game?
Back in the room, there is a line drawed on the wall in red.
On legend difficult its the reverse of the drawed line, on normal what it shows.
Watching this I'm asking myself why I would do this again lol rewind rounds aren't worth it to me. Thanks for the info though

No, if you already have the catalyst done you can just put it on immediately. Ik just did, not sure about intrinsic upgrades tho

Is it worth it getting a crafted Outbreak if I already have one & the catalyst? Idk what would make it so much better to be worth doing the mission again.
Eventually getting rewind rounds will make it better in my opinion for PVE since you'll be able to proc the nanites even more. Outbreak was used for DPS at one point
I was thinking about this myself, as I also have Outbreak + Catalyst, however, I am kinda thinking about the other perk 3s you can slot in instead of Outlaw. Looking at Rapid Hit and Rewind, personally.

If you're going for the "dps perfected" build, yes since you can craft it with rapid hit or rewind rounds.

Didn't they say they were going to change both missions? Correct me if I'm wrong but it didn't really seem like anything was different here
they aren't huge changes, just stuff like enemies in the jumping puzzles (sniper vandals on catwalks, exploding shanks in the fan shaft, etc.) and having to fight a brig in the tower plaza and at the end

I just want to know how people are beating this on legend. I have watched videos but my group basically runs the entire way and we run out of time right at the boss. One of the guys even timed us at the 2 ad clear areas and we were at about 3 minutes between them. We had slight issues at the jumps around the outside but it was just 2 of us died once. The Tank room we even cleared really fast. I also have to say the difficulty between normal and legend seem extremely close just one has more time and we did it no problem even ran it again with only 2 just to do some testing.

Team work at its best, not activating switches for your team is the worst part
Does everyone on the fireteam have to click the switches? I've watched half a dozen of videos on this and none have said.
it only counts for whoever did the switches sadly, it’s why you can’t just have one teammate sit at each switch

I have original outbreak and catalyst . I don't ever use it so I'm good with passing on the upgraded version 😏.

So the path one wasn't the same one or it was bugged. It got to the middle of the first turn and everything else was undoable
The path changes depending on the elemental burn that day
oddly enough the legend path is neither of the ones you showed, that of course if you run it the first time in legend

I think the normal mode is currently bugged and the enemies are way tougher. But this mission was an absolute blast back then.
What mountaintop role do you have to climb like that?
I believe any roll beside sticky nades works.
That's innate in Mountain Top. Sticky is good if you wanna really launch yourself, otherwise just fire at your feet.
It's intrinsic to the gun now. The frame let's you propel yourself upwards
Fallout those switches you activated are for people who don’t have the catyalst, if you already have it don’t bother with them
How do you jump with MT?
shoot the floor and jump at the same time. Can also work if u shoot while at the top of your jump
Shoot at your feet and press your jump button while you are in the air

sunshot, if you make a new character and pick solar for the new light starter kit then you’ll get it for free and just transfer it to main character using the vault:)

Anyone know how to get the intrinsic upgrade?
You get a quest when you get the gun, so when he was flipping that lever and climbs up that silo and flips another, that's him doing that first quest for the week. Make sure your on legend because the quest requires it.
He gets to it at 11:53 if you don't want to search through the video.
Thats not the intrinsic trait upgrade, that is a perk
The intrinsic trait upgrade is what lets unlock barrels and stuff, at the enclave it says the first one is unlocked by doing a vault puzzle @nathaniel5608
It won’t let me hit the middle switch & the one up top to get refined , anyone know why?
Needs to be on legend after you get the quest
So when u drop down from the platfrom dont get the middle switch standing on the middle switch platform instad go to the top right platform activate that then the middle one then u have 29sec to jump out and ontop of those missile silo things and get to the 3rd switch at the top if u mess up u have to reset because for some reason when u go back to deactivate it doesnt allow you
You need to be at the right quest step, if you are at it then idk
I feel like there is a lot of hate for this mission, which is weird to me because it seems a lot tamer compared to other missions or raids. I did it with a few friends and I find it fun to try and do it as fast as you can, although it did take a few tries. Makes your think to use your movement abilities and weapons. I used strand grapple for a good area of it, also maybe navigator w/ catalyst would be helpful here, and you can use an eager edge sword too if that helps, you can always swap just before the boss and then rally the flag (you couldn't see it in the video very well, but it was just before the vent that leads to the boss area).
Overall, I found it fun and I'm ready to do all the intrinsic trait quests in 3 weeks when they're all out.
The loadouts I ran were Solar with sunshot, supremacy, and apex predator and Strand, Rufus's fury, indebted kindness (joltshot if possible), and whisper of the worm (make sure it has field prep if possible, and crouch when shooting)
Just realized how much text I wrote while procrastinating for finals lol.
The timer ruins it for me.
I don't like that they added a Brig phase for the final boss. We first have to bring the tanky boss to 20% hp, then we have to kill two spider tanks to bring the boss back, and this time the boss returns in a gigantic Brig at full hp.
There some new exotic armor chests in the final shape, did you see them?!

That path at 10:10 doesn't work for me. Every tile sets me on fire. regardless of where I start. Every. single . time.

I didn't do this originally, so today was my first time. Trevor wasn't anywhere near as scary as people made him seem.
He was scary when you didn't know he was there. Going in blind, without having watched any videos he scared the crap out of us.
One of my favorite experiences with this game was taking two siblings into this mission and watching them struggle from the observing area above the "maze." They were definitely terrified. 😂
