Gotta love a flat concave. It just feels like you have more control. High concave boards just overflick at the slightest touch.
IDiggPattyMayonnaise I have no muscle so I like high concave cause you don’t have to flick as hard
I've been skating heavy concave boards forever and I recently got a anti hero with super mellow concave and I'm never going back, flat concave from now on.

I love setup videos. It's always so interesting to me seeing what the pros ride. All I skate are the B-16 shape boards that baker and deathwish make too! Its seriously the best shape. Cool to see you skate em too neen!

I just got my first pair of Thunders a little while ago, and they're fucking great. I like them so much more than the ventures I had haha. Also, that giant box of stickers is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my entire life

Thunder Trucks and Spitfire wheels... Old School, I skated every day of my life from 1997 to 2004. I used to have a Neighborhood Deck, Black Panther bearings, white blank wheels and Independent Trucks, not as heavy as the Thunder but they both lasted longer than Venture Trucks, especially when doing the K-grinds.
Alan Hernandez why’d you stop skating bro? I’m 40 and still skate not as often as I use to but I get out there and mess around the neighborhood still.

What bearings do you skate now that shake junt stopped making the Andrew Reynolds Pro Bearings?
He says he skates a 7.5-8in. Board at the first of the show, so wouldn't he want 139mm trucks rather than the 149mm trucks that he says he uses with his 8.375 board which seemed a bit random. Im new to the skateboard game but very interested in getting a set up soon i just dont wanna screw it up. Ive ordered an 8.25 board with 144mm independent trucks and 54mm powell 97((hardness) wheels. Does that sound ok? Also the board is that new powell board with 2 plys of fiber glasss. I honestly dont have any skateboarding friends so any advice would be great!!! Im 5ft. 9in. About 200lbs and have always been athletic. Played baseball throughout college and after graduating got into bodybuilding and won the Alabama state championship. I know that i more than likely dont have the right agile type of physique to be worth a damn at skateboarding but i am athleticc and I've always had a huge passion for the sport. And don't get me wrong I've ridden a skateboard as a youngster, i even mastered the kick flip. But nowadays with all these boards, trucks and wheel sizes, its been giving me a headache lately. If some of u guys could give me some recommendations that would really mean a lot to me! Thanks ahead of time btw!

How come the placement of the King pins are different on a longboard?
Longboards are meant for travel, high speeds, and to give the user a more "surfy" feel. When the king pin sits on the outside (towards the tip and tail) and/or at a more aggressive angle, it's purpose is for more responsive turn control.

I recently started skating Deathwish decks, my next one is a deathwish, currently on a 8.75 Welcome. Deck selection is harder for me since I ride 8.75s, sometimes I think about going down but I never end up doing it. You living healthy and being stoked on skating in this vid makes me want to try more. I'm prone to melancholy so don't get the amount of enjoyment I used to. Keep shredding.
