I'm so happy symmetrical boards are coming back. Just a year and a half ago it was near impossible to find them.
What do you mean coming back? Were they ever a thing?

fernando reyes Element has some really cool ones in the early 2000’s. I want to say they had Pendleton graphics.

Really glad to hear that even the pros have those meticulous things about their board which can mess up the whole sesh/trick if it changes. Makes me feel not so crazy anymore
Symmetrical board is the way! Last’s longer and it’s nice to let go of the orientation awareness.

i had this flip bastien salabanzi board that had an identical nose and tail. felt like 2 noses on each end. that board was so sick. almost oval shaped more than popsicle. miss that board shape.

We spoke and the Nine Club listened! Please don't stop these, as not only is it great to see the specs, it's cool to see their general attitude to gear. Some are really clinical, whilst others are pretty chill about it all.

I bought an ishod twin tail board a week or two ago and I don't really like the feel of the nollie tricks. Maybe a twin nose would be better feeling.
Yea his twin nose with a little more nose kick would be dope
dude i bought one for like 80 bucks cause us decks are sometimes expansive in europe and it broke on the first heelflip lip i did , didnt even get to really feel it out. sad that there is no local option for symetrical decks that are not imported.

Waaa am I the only one who feels the difference on my trucks? Front truck always feels stiffer than the back.
You put way more pressure on the back of your board so it is logical that the bushings get worked in and break down faster on the back .
I remember Daewon, Chico, and a few other pros saying they would tighten their back truck slightly more than their front in order to even this out. Makes sense since most of your weight is on the back. I started doing it too and it feels more even, despite the difference in tightness.

they dont. I currently ride 144s with an 8.0 deck
Recently bought thunder 148s because all the shops were out of 147s, and the axles do stick out a little. It’s very uncomfortable looking down but hopefully I’ll get used to it…
