I feel the same way with bones bushings, stock indy, thunders are good enough only difference is there's no stock soft bushing for thunders
Grizzly started me on grip art. Now I can't set up a bord unless there is something.
I’m the exact opposite. Anything more than a teeny little grizzly cut out Or maybe a single line and it fucks with me bad. And always black at 100% of the time.

My setup's a Bobby Worrest 8.38 twin tail; 149 Indy Titaniums; Spitfire F4 56mm; Bones Swiss.
Haven't really done any art or designs on the twin tails I've skated for consistency's sake.

Watching clips of spanky always thought he rode 149's...looks are deceiving!
149s on a 8.25 is so nice I don’t know why -roper use 139w. Hell,even 144s which are 8.25 trucks don’t feel as good on an 8.25 deck as 149s.

My set up is - 8.25 alien workshops steep concave, krux with thunder baseplate 4 washers on the inside to space out the wheels. 54 Spitfire lock-in, any bearings.

-8.25, i wear size 10s (not saying its huge) but i dont like when half my feet are hanging of the board
-mellow concave, not trynna have my board flip without even wanting it
-square nose with okay concave, not a nollie flipper but i do like a square nose for better reg flip tricks, point nose i feel like im flicking nothing
-LOW tail, i feel so unstable if the tail is too kicky, i rely on my legs to pop not an hella torqued tail, get that shit outta here
-indies, 139, chris cole said that smaller trucks than the board helps for 5050s on flat bars but tbh i might change this to actual 149s cuz i feel like i wheel bite a lot? advice?
-bones STF 53, i like skating street and in MTL the streets are crunchy, bones stay white and dont turn yellow, they're smooth and the sound is bless. been riding those since 2012 so anyone has any suggestions?

anyone has any suggestions on Krux trucks, the ones with the low kingpin? im a huge rail skater and do lots of smiths/feebles has anyone ride them and has some words of advice?
anyone knows any board company that has mellow concave and squarish nose. im riding baker mellow concave but the nose is pointy.

stay away from the krux low kingping. the king pin doesnt stay in place when you try to tighten it or loosen it. mine just spins and spins. junk.

tell me more about bones bushings collapsing. i just started using bones bushings, what should i be looking for?
The plastic core sinks in/the urethane of the bushing starts like muffin topping over the core and they just get crumbly loose and break
I just started skating them recently, too. Didn't know this was a thing, haha. I use the hard ones, so I'm hoping they don't collapse as easily...

(well you can do whatever you want) but the bottom bushing on indies is a barrel. . Only can use the bones top bushing on indies bottom bushing is barrel makes em all messed up imo
i havent skated in years but damn he thinks 144 goes good with 8.25 damn he is the pro after all
144s are made for an 8.25 board. Equivalent to 148 in Thunder or 5.6 in Venture. Were the numbers different before?
@@minutes2midniteSorry for the super late reply (like 3 years late 😅) but back in the day, there wasn’t a size for 8.25, it was either 8 or 8.5. I think 8.25 only really happened within the last decade
