Yeah buddy today we were working a little bit on that step down and then spin around. Try usually go to staff them down and then I go to an arm drag over the top. We started working on timing so when someone steps and the other lake comes up I’m shooting Working on going in a circular position and then taking the shots off perfect presence! I started working on a take down, going to a ball and chain and then working on going into a cradle then working on what I call is a crunch cradle, and then also looking at it in a jujitsu way when I do that I simply go back to the lake and I pick up the bars and ankle locks in it so much of a good thing
Pushing with the head instead of the arms. I will definitely be working on that. Would you do anything different for bjj or mma, especially on a snap down?
It's definitely useful. Anything grappling can be used from style to style because you're controlling someone. This is the way I wrestle. I didn't come from a wrestling background, but snap downs and arm drags give me a lot of tools to wrestle from my feet. And I don't have to shoot for the legs. I save energy.
Imagine being this good at wrestling
Just go do it
Hard work and studying the game it’s possible if you want to be this good it just takes time and effort
It also takes lots of cauliflower.
I dream of it everyday...yet im still garbage...
@@NotEvenOverThere did you ever get this good at wrestling in the past 4 years
I have no idea how many videos I have watched on wrestling. At least1000. This is one of the very, very best out there.
Nice work coach- watching to teach my JV newbies. Always helpful to watch a great coach and take some notes before I go coach the same. Solid work
Ur someone from other planet to give hike to this game thank God u send this man ( Sir Kolat) to 🌎 lot's of love from punjab
Only 8 comments?? Very underrated video with great breakdown. Thank you!
Man this is so good. I actually did this today. I would love to have him do a seminar in TN at my gym.
Great to hear that it's useful!

Awesome Cary
Great stuff coach
Glad you like it!
Wrestling is so simple , yet it is so difficult & beautiful .
Right on!
I wish my coaches had been as good as Kolat. I had to do it all, my coaches were worthless.

If they put their hands on you, no problem. You'll have to analyze the striking possibilities which we do not take into account in wrestling.
Thank you for posting. This could also be useful in jiu jitsu it seems

Hot Damn I forgot this part, thanx coach
The go behind is in my opinion the most effective and easiest way to score from the feet.
Trying to get my 14yr old to slow down and revisit these basic principles.
position and setup
Thank you Cary, you're a great teacher!
Always good to focus on basics.
I should’ve gotten into wrestling before BJJ
Yes, it's a great foundation.
