Why is everyone so obsessed with a man cooking lunch for his wife? He's a cook, so he cooks. It's nothing personal, but he's probably better at it than her and people like Chris can be a pain to cook for when you don't meet their standards. I guess they arranged their cooking-terms to everone's best liking. My father cooked for my mom and me too, though not daily. Cooking and eating together just got a bit lost in today's family life, perhaps.

I dated a girl who seasoned EVERYTHING she cooked with garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, and dried red pepper flakes. One day I had the audacity to suggest using actual onions, garlic, pepper, herbs, because, you know, we aren't a mom from the 90s, real food tastes better, and is way healthier. She didn't cook for me for a month. Which was fine, because I like to be in control of my own food, but still...

I think he meant the dressing, not the salad.
The comment I was looking for
yeah he definitely meant the dressing. but take off the eggs.. BOOM vegan salad
Bemusing buttermilk or sour cream for the dressing makes it not vegan as well- both are derived from milk products
they're vegan eggs.
6:19 Brad would disagree, you really want that Allicin going. Like a two part epoxy...
More Chris, this gon be gud.
Please feature Amiel more too!
Yes pleasee
I feel like everybody overlooks Amiel and it makes me sad..
Weirdly, this is quite a good start for the year -even with a recipe so horrible has radiccios (honestly, who likes those)-

A mention to The Great British Bakeoff: YAAAAAAS!
"Um, actually.." he repeated the heretical name 'British Baking Show' rather than the one, true Great British Bake Off but he got close enough.
I’m so happy Chris is feeling optimistic and positive about the world on a Sunday night. As for me- I’ll be in my bed crying about waking up tomorrow morning to go into work 😭😂😂
The comment section is all about the audio being low and Chris has a wife

Nuhan Hidayat and people telling on themselves being too lazy to cook with actual garlic and onion
How adorable is Chris's laugh? 🥺 I think I just fell in love with him 🙈❤️
This is like those master classes...thank you so much! One suggestion...if you could leave the little caption pop-ups up just a couple seconds longer, that would be appreciated.
Ok, the lemon peel idea is GENIUS!!! I make hummus all the time and I never thought of adding lemon or onions to when boiling the chickpeas. Just tried it and it's AMAZING. Thanks BA!, Chris, you're wonderful!
I want to see more of Chris!! I loved the conversation throughout the whole video, felt like I was talking with a friend☺️
