Like to see you guys show viewers how to swing for Great Lakes steelhead in Ohio. I fish those rivers all the time, and with all the bait migrations Jeff talked about, I personally think it is way more rewarding and more exciting than indicator fishing.

Matt that is a great idea and something we can look at for 2024. Did you see this video we did for southern Ontario that is similar: ruclips.net/video/caJLzOux9LE/видео.html

@@newflyfisher I did- from what I recall that was a single hand set up. Love to see you guys talk about the correct casts whether on river left of river right, wind and discuss sinking lines and MOW Tips. A lot of newbies swinging dredge the bottom with 10-12’ for T11+. Just think it could be a good show topic vs the standard indicator fishing.

Tried and true way to catch trout as steelhead feed even while they spawn.

these shows...I swear... they got the camera trained on the host so much of the time... it's like, yeah, I KNOW what a man looks like, show the fish jumping and more of the action in the stream!! lol

Not gonna lie I fish that river heavily and I never mess with an egg fly. I run an 8mm blood dot glass bead and a size 12 hook on top and a white zonker on bottom. I know some guys consider it sacrilege to run a bead instead of a fly but honestly all I care about is catching fish. It is especially effective in super low clear conditions when the weight of the glass bead means you need less split shot and it is just a slick presentation. I know none of the purists will be persuaded but if anyone is on the fence you should really give it a shot!

I’ve done that too instead of an egg pattern I’ve throw on a plastic bead works well produces fish
